Just got back from a lovely weekend. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The pitches are well kept, showers and toilets were immaculate and water was hot at any time of day. The children's play area was clean and safe, my young toddler had great fun and enjoyed the freedom of the safe environment. Local amenities within a 10 minute walk and a 15 minute drive to Bournemouth seafront. Will be booking another weekend for the end of August.

Stayed recently for a short break at St Leonard's Farm Camping/caravan site.
Initially I rang and spoke to a lovely friendly lady who answered my questions about the site and booking and equally when we arrived we received a warm welcome, the staff are great, friendly and want their site to be good and it shows.
Fantastic location - 10 mins from beach by car, local shops nearby.
Site itself was excellent, a warm and friendly welcome, nice smart camping/caravan sites.
Toilet and shower blocks were immaculately clean and regularly checked by staff who would check and clean.
When you walked in to the shower/ toilet block you could tell it was well looked after.
Great place to stay, fab staff, clean and tidy!
They also offer various other services to make your stay easier - laundrette, inflating airbeds etc

We have had a lovely stay at this campsite and will return!
We only live 20 mins drive away from the site but wanted a weekend away in the sunshine. We prefer basic sites and usually that means basic facilities, however, we were pleasantly surprised at the toilet and shower block. It was very clean, always smelt fresh and our fussy 8 year old daughter approved of them!
The children loved the independence of playing in the park and we were happy that it was safe for them to do so.
The pitch sizes were a little on the small side but we did see that the friendly owners did offer larger spaces to those who asked when other campers had moved on. Although peak season I imagine this wouldn't be possible.
The site is lovely and flat and relatively peaceful. We would go again!

Spent 7 nights here at half term this was our 2nd visit
Good site overall although a bit basic. Pitches are flat although not huge. Nice grass area. Playground is quite old except one new bit that I think, has, been introduced this year.
Toilet block quite old but clean, showers quite small
Good touring area for new forest and Bournemouth beaches
No shop site although sainsburys is very close plus macdonalds and beefeater restaurant.

Me and my boyfriend visited this camp site on Saturday 26th May and intended on staying for 1 night. It was by chance we came across it when looking on the internet. We phoned up on the same day to see if they had any room for us, and the lady was very friendly and said yes they had room for us to turn up.
When we arrived we were greeted by 2 very friendly faces, both of who were very helpful and keen to have conversation. This immediately welcomed us to their site.
We then paid and made our way to the pitch. We settled in very quickly and went for a walk to the toilet and washing facilities, both of which were very good. There were 4/5 toilets in the ladies and at least 5/6 showers. Both were very clean, and well stocked with toilet roll, hand soap etc.
Also, just outside the changing rooms there was an area specifically for washing up dishes. This was very handy for us as we had cooked meals.
We enjoyed this site so much we decided to stay for another night. £17 a night is very cheap for what they offer here. All in all, a lovely weekend, made even better by the lovely weather we had.
I would highly recommend this camp site to anyone, families, couples, groups. Me and my boyfriend will definitely be coming to stay here again.

Just got back from a great stay at this very relaxed but well run campsite. There was 5 of in the group 2 adults 3 children we were a little bit apprehensive due to the weather conditions before we left but glad we went, the pitches were in very good conditions. We had 3 lovely days of sunshine over the bank holiday. The campsite was pretty much full but it did not stop the cleanliness of the facilities and I am glad to that there was no big queues for the shower blocks. It would be nice if there were 2 lots of shower blocks due to the size of the site and additional washup as it is a bit of a trek to the other side. The children had a great time in the park but if your looking for any other facilities you will not find it here which was appealing. There are local shops and pubs nearby in walking distance which was very useful. All in all great site will book again.

We visited this site with other members of our family, including a 7 year old boy. The site itself is well cared for, the showers and toilets are very clean although not enough showers for the amount of people there when we visited, and the play area is good. There were plenty of rubbish bins which were emptied on a regular basis. Shops and other facilities are nearby and easily accessible. My only complaint is that there was not enough of a gap between pitches. We were unable to sit at either side of our motorhome because the cars which belonged to our neighbours were parked there. Throughout the whole site it seems that tents, caravans etc. Were lined up like sardines in a tin and we had no personal space. There were several large groups of campers who were quite noisy at times and also there were dogs running around off the lead. As a family we have decided we would not return but only because of the lack of space between pitches.

Just spent 7 peaceful days at st leonards caravan site and enjoyed every day. Weather was kind, pitches are well looked after. The toilets and showers were always clean and tidy, the wardens were very helpful, if you are looking for a peaceful break this is ideal as there is no entertainment or club house, which suited us. Shops are only 5 or 10 minutes walk away site is situated within easy reach of poole, bournemouth, and other seasides highly recommended.

We've just returned from a weekend at this site and had a wonderful time.
The site is fairly basic, ie no shop or entertainment, but that's the sort of site we prefer. A selection of shops is available a few minutes walk away.
The site is well laid out, with pitches clearly marked. The site was level and easy to pitch our tent. We opted for no electricity but there are also plenty of pitches with it.
The toilet & shower facilities were incredibly clean and well maintained (apart from the spiders on the ceiling!) I loved the fact that there was a free to use hairdryer but also sockets so I could also use my hair straighteners (I'm not a natural camper!)
There's a children's play area which, looking at other reviews, must have recently been updated as there was a lovely new climbing frame/slide. My only concern was the stream which surrounds the park. My children love the independence of going to the park alone (it was only 20 seconds walk from our tent) but they are old enough to understand the dangers but younger children may not so would have to be accompanied.
The site was pretty quiet the weekend we stayed, until 5 large, loud families arrived on Saturday afternoon and pitched near us. Unfortunately they were the type who didn't respect anything or anyone & were still shouting at 1am, left the pitch in a disgusting state & also left a trail of destruction in the shower block.
Apart from that, we'd definitely recommend this site. It's close to Bournemouth but also the New Forest so both could be reached very easily. We'll definitely be back.

What an fantastic site.
On arrival the friendly staff gave us a map and explained where our pitch we would be.
The pitch was lovely, big and clearly marked.
The facilities were spotless with plenty of hot water.
We needed to buy a new cooker and gas regulator. We spent the day driving round and ended up buying from a shop just outside Bournemouth. It turned out that they had sold me the wrong cooker / regulator combination.
I went to reception and explained the problem, the extremely helpful lady on reception gave me directions to a little camping shop 1 mile away!
In the shop they were so friendly and helpful and soon had me sorted and we were able to cook that night!
There is a MacDonalds, Sainsburys, Liddell and a fantastic Fish and chip shop all within a mile of the site. Accessible by car and within walking distance if your fit!
The weather was sunny for 2 days and wet overnight and cold on day 3.
There is a great space for the children to play ball games and also play equipment, which is well maintained.
My group consisted of an adult, 2 teenagers and 1 7 year old. They all had a great time and have asked to go again next year.
I cannot find any criticism or any negative points.
