Strictly NO wood burning allowed, which in my view is a shame. This information needs to be communicated for people when booking as it isn't on their website. Also cars are instructed to be parked in front of your tent, and if you have a front opening tunnel tent, this gives you very little space outside and you end up with a lovely view of your car as you sit in your porch! Also to note. No domestic electric kettles or electric heaters are allowed, and no entry of cars to your pitch after 11pm.

HOWEVER, if none of the above bothers you, then I would recommend this site. It is clean and safe, with tight security. It would be PERFECT for families with young children. Lidl and Sainsbury's within walking distance but you will need to get in your car to go anywhere else. For me, there were too many rules, which takes the fun out of the camping experience, hence the lower score.

Nice and peaceful with some wildlife.

Toilet block was clean and tidy as was the whole site.

Walking distance to some shops and a pub.

A short drive to a nature reserve.

Site was welcoming and the Lady in reception was friendly and helpful. Found no issues with the facilities which were kept clean.

Our girls like the play area and the indoor play barn as well as getting to see the farm animals.

Was able to arrange late checkout Sunday giving us more time away.

A great site and one to add to our local favourites for a weekend away.

I visit St Leonards every year to attend the Loverocks Festival.

It is definitely a superb choice for location of a small festival, and I'm always impressed with the site itself.

The shower and toilet facilities are excellent, the site is very well laid out.

I would (and quite possibly will) pitch my campervan there for a 'normal' holiday!

We were greeted with smiles and politeness. The reception appeared well organised, and the staff were very helpful.

The site was a splendid combination of open space with tall hedges breaking the area up. Giving it a more private feel on the pitch that we had. The site was clean and well kept.

The bathroom facilities were clean and bright, and despite being right next to then, they did not disturb with banging doors etc throughout the night.

It was a plus to have a different visiting food choice each evening, which we would definitely utilise on a longer stay.

It takes no time at all to travel back into the New Forest, which is ideal for us. There are also plenty of other places of interest within easy reach.

We will definitely be returning here.

We had a lovely 3 nights away with our friends. They had never been camping before and have 2 kids under 5 who absolutely loved it.

Great indoor soft play for kids as well as the outside play park.

Showers were hot and surprisingly not too busy considering it was the school holidays. They could do with a bit of modernisation but were always clean and tidy so no issues with us!

Overall we had a great stay and hope to return again!

What a friendly, clean and well kept site, very clean facilities and really wonderfully friendly staff.

A very good location for days out and shopping nearby petrol station across busy road via subway for last minute milk etc.

Lovely fields and play area for kids they can also watch the cows and sheep across the stream.

Great for kids 8 out 10 the site won’t let me place rating for that (?)

Had a great 2 night stay. Good facilities & great company. A really nice site with river & children's play area.

Toilets, showers & washing up facilities all clean & sanitary.

Close to a lot of great places to visit inc Bournemouth, Poole & New forest ( which by the way is out of this world).

Shops, takeaways & pub literally 5 minutes up the road.

Loved our stay & we will absolutely be looking at a return visit.

Many thanks to you for a great place to stay.
