This was our first camping experience with three kids aged 4, 2, & 1. The wardens were so helpful, two of them came to assist us putting up the tent and kept checking we were ok. Facilities were clean and no queues. Would definitely return.

Stayed here for 7 nights over the Spring BH weekend -- and how wet was that !
Site staff were as helpful and as friendly as reported, the site was very busy over the BH weekend but remained peaceful. After the weekend just one or two units on site. Take a torch as it is very dark at night as site lighting is kept to a minimum.
We certainly aware of some queues for the facilities over the BH period but given numbers of people on site they were always clean. As others have said they are basic but functional if you are camping in a tent.
The Cotswolds is a stunning place to visit - lots of lovely villages, fabulous well signed footpaths and plenty of good pubs.
Large Tesco's at Stow on the Wold is about 10- 15min by car, the town itself has a number of butchers, green grocers, and hosts a farmers market. Can recommend the farm shop at Hailes Fruit Farm near Winchcombe if you fancy a drive out to that area.
Will be back :))

Just returned home from a Saturday night staying at Folly Farm. We booked last minute and pitches were still available. On arriving the reception tent offers a relaxed and friendly welcome and we were asked to pick our own spot in one of two large fields. The site was quiet, and with no unnecessary lighting you could see the night sky. The site wardens are always available and do regular walk around. This is a well run site, the grass looks regularly mown and the facilities were very clean. You have to pay 50p for the shower but there is a large basket and hooks on the back of the door where you can keep your cloths dry.
The local area is stunning, a number of picture postcard villages and rolling countryside make it an attractive option for a weekend of walking or relaxing. From the campsite you can take a 15 minute stroll to The Plough pub in the local village, if you want to eat you have to book reception provided the number but we were too late to get a table.

Site is very central for lots of attractions
Take 50p for showers
Toilet facilities are limited and basic but clean given the amount of people who use them
Charlie is everhelpful he will -pull you out if stuck and generally help any way he can
One of the most friendliest sites visted!

Fantastic! Just got back from a really good weekend at Folly Farm. It has basic but clean facilities and there are a lot of sinks for washing up etc. Charlie and Adrian, the site wardens, were really helpful and were always available if needed. Would use this site again.

We came here for a long weekend with a group of other people. The surrounding area to the campsite is absolutely stunning and we definitely want to come back to see more of the sights and sounds! We were in the rally field and found it to be of a fair size and lots of nice level ground to choose from. The bathroom block (as others have mentioned) is a little on the basic side. We also found that they weren't really suitable for the amount of people on site, and we often saw queues for both the showers and toilets. On the Saturday morning the toilets blocked - however in fairness to the campsite owners this problem was rectified quite quickly. The site wardens are very friendly and helpful - and are very strict on the no noise after 11pm rule (which is a refreshing change). There is easy access to the nearby area via the footpaths - and the nearby pub appears to do a great trade as it was fully booked for dinner on the nights we were at the campsite. We would probably only come back to this site if it was during a quiet period - as during the weekend the bathroom and washing area are too busy.

Arrived at this site on Sunday, so it was already fairly empty. Manager Charlie was very welcoming and we had a field to ourselves (there are three camping areas in total and the third has the best views). Toilet block is small and fairly basic but clean. There are two toilets in both the gents and ladies and another for disabled. The main gripe with them is that at night, once the cubicle door is closed you don't get any light in, so remember your torch! There are two showers that you pay 50p to use and two that are free. The difference is really just the surroundings (one is wood, the other plastic) and the free ones need hooks on the doors to hang your stuff on. Fortunately there were so few of us on site that we rarely wanted to use the facilities at the same time, but I hate to imagine the queues to use the loos and showers at busy times! There's no shop on site but Charlie let us re-freeze our freezer blocks in his own freezer. There is a pub within walking distance across fields, etc. Bourton-on-the-Water is a short drive away with everything you could need there - and it's a great place to visit. In fact the site is a great base for visiting the Cotswolds. We would stay here again during the week but would hesitate to camp here at weekends.

We went on our first camping expedition last weekend (22nd June) and it was brilliant ! The campsite couldnt of been more perfect. The location was handy being right near to Bourton, we did a walk to the village using Charlie's (campsite manager)map he lent us. Then walked back on the main road it was about 6 miles we think. We pitched out tent in the first field as a lot of kids were coming later in the day and we didnt want to be near the noise! Charlie lent us an 12v pump to blow up our airbeds which we thought was nice of him. The toliet and shower blocks are basic but they are all you need, make sure you have plenty of 50p pieces for the showers. There was plenty of room for washing up too.
We were recommended the Plough Inn in Cold Aston but you have to book before hand, its only a small pub and doesnt have many tables. The food was gorgeous and really tasty and not too expensive, I can personally recommend the sausage and mash at £8.95.
We would definitely return to Folly Farm, it was really good value for money and in a perfect location.

The friendliest of sites! Basic amenities. If you want swanky loos this isn't the place for you! Showers have a 50p meter. Reasonably priced - 2 adults, motorhome with electric was £13.50. There are great numbers & varieties of birds in the old trees, good walks, wild flowers. We're going back in a fortnight!

Charlie the site warden is the friendliest and most helpful campsite employee I have met in 15 years of camping. Nothing was too much trouble and he was very knowledgeable about surrounding area. We had a brilliant stay at this tranquill site in a beautiful location. Although basic the facilities were clean. Me and my 2 children could fit into the shower cubicle and still manage to keep everything dry.
Plenty of room for kids to play and ride their bikes. We enjoyed a couple of evening walks to meet the pigs and horses, especially when it went dark and we could see bats and an owl. Kids loved it. Cotswold farm park worth a visit great day for kids. Bourton is a tourist trap but still retains its charm even when busy. The fish and chips were excellent as were the meals in the Duke of Wellington, especially when the ducklings joined us and let the kids feed them by hand. No visit to the cotswolds would be complete without a trip to the slaughters. Laze by the river feed the ducks read a good book while the kids eat an ice cream from the old mill. Heaven on earth
