This site is the place I call 'HOME'. We regard this site as the best there is! Our two cavaliers are so at home and the facilities are grand! The centre of England has so much to offer i. E. Kenilworth, Stratford and so much more, but it is so nice to come back to a friendly site. Well done, see you soon.

A gem of an adults-only site which we have just returned from following our second weekend stay this month! Excellent location very convenient for NEC etc, Solihull, Coventry, very easily accessible from several main routes but secluded and quiet once you arrive. Meriden village is a mile-or-so walk away, Hampton-in-Arden about a mile and a half in the opposite direction, two golf courses within a 3-iron distance. The site is mature and surrounded by trees, all flat, hard-standing EHU pitches, some with additional services, and each with a small grassed area to one side. Some pitches are very shady, others get quite a lot of sun, so perhaps check in advance if this is important to you. First class facilities as good as anywhere we have been, ladies consisting of two showers, two vanity cubicles, two further sinks and four loos. Covered wash-up with laundry facilities available for an extra charge. All facilities modern and spotless. Owners/wardens extremely friendly although don't impose themselves, and have accommodated a late check-out for us on both occasions in return for a 'donation' to their wild bird feeding efforts. Friday night chip wagon does better chips then I've had from many a bricks-and-mortar chippy, and is very popular. A superb find and our new home from home when we need a quick getaway.

Visited site only for a couple of days whilst my wife visited NEC and I visited National Motorcycle Museum. The site could not be better situated for visiting these venues. Facilities were top rate and site well kept. Pitches are hard standing and spacious. There is a motorhome service point which was welcome as not all sites have signed up to this yet. Makes life a lot easier. Shower availability may be a problem at busier times but not whilst we were there.
Meriden village is only a shortish walk from the site with plenty choice of good eating places at reasonable prices.
All in all a lovely site well situated not only for the reasons I have stated but for other attractions in the area. Certainly be visiting again.

Just back from this superb site. We arrived after closing but our pitch details were left on the cork board so no hassles, and no rush to pay next morning. The toilet block is one of the best I've seen in many many years of camping, other sites take note! No buttons to press or tokens to feed, just lots of lovely hot water, plenty of space, and a relaxed very clean environment, water fill and waste disposal all fine, and the staff very friendly and helpful, what more do you need? an easy 20min stroll into meridian takes you to a couple of village shops and a pub for dinner. Walk another 10 minutes up the road and you find another friendly pub with a Thai restaurant upstairs. A great weekend, highly recommended.

This is one of our favourite campsites. It is tranquil with good heated washroom with lots of wild life and a 'no fuss' attitude, unlike many other club sites. It is very handy for the NEC and easy to find. Highly recommended. Motorhomers in particular will be interested in being able to walk to a good pub in Meridan for a nice meal. Added bonus adults only.

Stayed for 1 night only but will be returning to Somers Wood. We had a lovely time, the park is set in a wooded tree area. Very clean and looked after. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful from booking to departure. Toilets and wash areas kept very clean and tidy. Quiet park as adult only so very relaxing stay. Would highly recommend. WIFI available at extra cost of £4. 00. Would be even more fantastic in the summer. Local shops and pub a short drive or 20 min walk.

Stayed here for a two night midweek break, we wanted a bit of peace and quiet and that is what we got, you would not believe that you were so close to Coventry & Birmingham. All the facilities were spot on & the pitch was very clean & tidy. There is a golf club just a short walk away where you can get food & drinks in a nice atmosphere & the village of Meridan is within easy walking distance with good pubs & shops, there are also some fishing lakes near to the golf course, but they do charge and all the anglers seemed very professional, so I gave that a miss. You will hear some aircraft & road noise but don't let that put you off. There is plenty of bird life around the park & woods with lots of feeding stations & it was great to hear the owls at night, we had a nice relaxing time on a very good site.

Just spent 2 days on this excellently facilitated site. This was our 2nd visit this year and we say that it was all very peaceful during our short stay. I had reviewed the site after our last visit when I posted comments about campers from hell. Well lesson learnt, we really should have complained at the time about the miscreants and it would have been sorted I was assured by the site managers when I booked in this time so. Yes we will recommend this site as being one that does what it says on the tin! Excellent

Found this perfect adult only site, peaceful, and such a friendly atmosphere. Just returned from a weekend Stay, all facilities are fantastic, shower blocks are the best I have ever seen. Plenty of water points and the chemical waste was well lit and central to all.
Added bonus was that we could hire a satellite cable so that saved Hubby from lining up the dish. We were made welcome and nothing was too much trouble.
Not far away was Meridon which has a couple of shops and pubs with in walking distance, and a Chip shop whose chips were some of the best we had tasted, I do feel that I should mention the site do have a visiting Chip van, sadly we had not set up the van so missed out but hopefully we can try him out on our next visit.

What a superb site. Quiet being belief. Just what we need. My husband was very unwell which is not good in a caravan, however this site was a perfect sanctuary. The wardens were so helpful, couldn't have asked for more. Would undoubtedly visit again. Just missed a washing machine etc as travelled from Dorset en route so needed it. They did laundry service however not the same. Never mind. Superb chill. X
