Excellent site to visit Devil's Bridge. Staff were friendly and helpful which is a major plus at any site.

Hafor Arms only a few minutes walk, worth a visit. The Steam Train ride to Aberystwyth was fantastic, beautiful scenery.Aberystwyth is a marvellous place to visit. There's a cliff railway, lovely views at the top. The museum, which is free, is interesting and well laid out. Devil's Bridge and the falls equally beautiful.

As others have said, another washing up sink is needed but don't let this minor criticism put you off. No children with me,so can't comment on that aspect.

Nice campsite, able to choose own pitch as we didn't need EHU. Shower block very basic - a portable cabin basically. Only 4 cubicles and has the grass had just been cut - this has been trod inside. Devils bridge water fall - amazing and the allow you to take your dog as well. Good shop and cafe. Friendly site staff - willing to help.

Plenty of nice walks nearby. Good base for visiting wales. A bit isolated if you like a pub within walking distance from the site. But overall a decent site. May come back if we are in the area.

Once again a great stay at this site - we use it each year!

The people are very helpful - and also generous allowing us to swap a deposit on a caravan pitch with electric to a tent pitch when a member of the party suffered a problem with their caravan.

Very accommodating - allowing us to pitch caravan and tents together. When we arrived they sorted us out quickly and allocated us a corner pitch giving us plenty of room for our 3 vehicles as well.

Facilities were clean as always! It was quiet, being the beginning of July, so it would be a good time to go if you want to relax.

Toilets and showers very clean, friendly staff to help and advise you on things to do. We went on a steam train to Aberystwyth, worth a visit. Also went on a lovely walk down road to see waterfalls it was £3.50 at entrance when we went back later it had a sign up saying £2. When we questioned man next day he said that it paid for man on the desk, when there is a group of you it works out very expensive to pay for a man on the desk so would recommend you go later for £2 but worth the visit.

Food was lovely in the local pub with beautiful scenery to relax and enjoy would go back again had one of the best weekends

Just returned from this campsite, yes it is a pleasant site, but beware that non hook up pitches are not flat, it was extremely busy whilst we were there (whitsun holiday!) and not a lot of choice of pitches, despite pre-booking.

The showers were cleaned daily, but again because it was busy water was not always hot, it does warn you in the toilet block about this though!

Another sink for washing up would be most appreciated, and also watch when you push the cold taps down - in toilets too water is very forceful, splashes everywhere and you can get wet!

Also rubbish bins could be located closer to the tourer / tent pitches quite a walk down to the rubbish site.

If you need to refreeze ice blocks the shop will do them for you,for a donation of 20p per block to the air ambulance fund, check shop times though!

Didn't use play areas, but smaller kids seemed to appreciate it.

We stayed here in our motorhome for 4 nights and had a lovely time, the weather was good and there were tents and caravans and a few other motorhomes.

The site was well kept and very safe for children. The showers and loos are in a porta cabin and are in need of doing up. One shower was out of order. There is only one sink to wash up and a chemical disposal point but no drain to empty grey water so had to put down sinks which is not easy unless you drain your tank daily. There is not suitable drain for motorhomes at all. Water is close by but you have to go on the grass to get it, could be dodgy if wet.

Never went to cafe, staff very helpful and always busy as it is a working farm. The site is set in outstanding countryside and great for walking and cycling. It is remote but we will probably go back.

Very helpful on booking and arrival. Bottom side of electric hook ups is flat and mainly taken up with motorhomes and yearly sited units, some areas prone to flooding!.

We were on pitch 26 which has a steady gradient and does require you to level your unit. This pitch had only recently been refurbished for electric hook up and was a little too close to the play area, ok if you have young children though.

The toilet block is a porta cabin and is cleaned regularly, but has signs of ageing and could do with a deep clean, (call me fussy). This doesn't put me off as it is situated in a lovely rural setting and was lovely to be so close to nature and the animals.

The tearooms were busy when we were there but never ate at them, the shop was small but adequate.

The 'Hafod Hotel' was just a 5 min walk down the road and served a lovely evening meal in the bar area as the restaurant was full. If you want Sunday lunch they serve that in the restaurant and is advisable to book in advance. If visiting in the night make sure you have a torch as it is a very dark narrow road.

Only approx 20 mins into Aberystwyth nice town with shale beach, small pier and cliff railway to observatory.

The best part is there is a 2pm check out!

Wow, what a great find. Superb site, very clean and welcoming. Due to the time of year there were no tents and only 1 other campervan so we had the place to our selves. In addition to the site being great, its got superb surroundings - lots of walking options and very dog friendly. Mountain biking at nearby Nant yr Arian is top stuff (do Pendam and Summit then Pendam again - 16 miles of the best singletrack around).

I will definitely be back and can't see how being busier will be detrimental to this site in any way.

 Fantastic Friendly Site.

Stayed here to see Devils bridge which is a very short walk from the site, and I would fully recommend a full English at the site Cafe on the way, very reasonable price and lovely food.

The little shop in the cafe had every thing I needed and was decently priced for this kind of site shop.

The toilet block is kept nice and clean and bug free, always toilet roll and soap available and water was warm enough whenever I needed it.

For dinner try the local Inn, it is located a little further down the road to the bridge, the Inn has a lovely warm feeling and the staff are friendly and welcoming, so are the locals.

The food is very nice here and the portions are more than ample for the price.

Overall a great stay, and well worth the trip.

Visited in 2009 with family. 2 tents and 1 caravan total of 6 adults 6 children 1 dog. Very accommodating when booking, making sure we were together. Spotless campsite close to a scenic walk around devils bridge and amazing waterfalls. Toilet block basic but clean. Cafe/shop on site lovely cakes. Used the steam train from devils bridge to Aberystwyth nice journey amazing scenery and a great day at the beach.
