An all round excellent place to spend some time, although three nights was just not long enough!
All the staff are warm and friendly and make you feel you are genuinely welcome!
We stayed in a yurt and it was an experience we can recommend to anyone and everyone! It was one of the most relaxing breaks we have had in a long time and hope to be back as soon as possible!

All good at WoWo, loved the laid back feel of the place, plenty of room, open fire pits and the facilities are rustic but OK. This site is best enjoyed by groups and large families.
Lots to do in the surrounding area but for us the highlights are Bluebell Railway and the trip to the local pub, The Sloop which serves decent food and has a beer garden, so OK for Kids. This is well signposted so you cant get lost but be sure to make the return in the dark by torchlight; classic.

Have been twice now, and the super friendly staff are always warm and welcoming. They often have cooked food available, but I think it's organised on an ad hoc basis by whoever happens to be staying in the place at the time. Some nice Spanish people did a traditional breakfast on the weekend mornings we were there, and there was a hog roast one evening.
The route to the nearest pub is clearly signposted, although it had stopped serving food by the time we got there. The walk there, through fields and bluebell woods, mustn't be missed, if you're there in spring, though. We also visited the only other thing in walking distance, the Bluebell Railway, a mecca for train spotters keen on seeing working steam engines.
Toilet facilities are fine, but showers could do with cleaning- the shower curtain had mould and was a bit icky. Sinks are available for washing up. They really need to install PIR switches though - I was frustrated to see all the lights on at 3am when I went to the toilet.
The reception sells basics like milk and butter and cheese but the nearest shop is a lengthy car drive away - unfortunate for us since we got public transport there. Speaking of which, the nearest train station is Haywards Heath, and there's a mini cab office just outside the station where you'll pick up a ride for £12 (a metered cab would charge about twice that). If you say you're going to Sheffield Park, it's on the left just before the Bluebell Railway entrance.
Several big fields means it's never busy, and there are fire pits or areas by each pitch. They come round a few times through the day to check if you have enough wood - £5 a box seems steep, but you do get plenty.
Would definitely recommend.

Recently returned from WoWo and we really enjoyed our stay, despite the rain. The staff are helpful and friendly, with a very handy person popping round a couple of times in the evening selling logs (but you can bring your own).
Location is beautiful, with a choice of 3 fields to stay in. One of the fields being quite large, with pitches only on one side, enabling the kids to run around (big and small!).
The field we stayed in was smaller, but still room for little 'un to fly her kite on a short line.
The pitches are well spaced apart and although they can fit quite a few tents in (no caravans in here!) they have very wisely decided to limit capacity. This means that even in the height of summer, there would not be any neighbours very close by. Due to popularity, it is a good idea to book in advance.
The showers are hot and free, and had great trouble getting my 6 year old out of them! Only downside was that within the cubicle, there was only one hook, so a bit tricky to hang clothes / towels up, but we managed. This apparently applied to the gents showers too.
There are 3 wash up points, providing roasting hot water.
Whilst we were there, they had a hog roast on the Saturday eve and a Spanish breakfast on Sunday morning. Did not try these as brought half the superstore with me!
Ground can get a bit quaggy so remember your wellies!
Would be happy to return to this site.

Stayed here for a weekend, hadn't booked in advance but think it would normally be a good idea. Lovely site, easy to find and lots of space. Open fire pits by tents. Very nice and owners / staff friendly and helpful. Quiet after midnight and lots of kids running about during the day. Toilet blocks quite basic and I guess very busy when the site is full, but cleaned regularly and plenty of hot water.
Lots to do in the local area but decided Bluebell railway just too pricey for us. Had a meal at Farmers Arms in Scaynes Hill, basic food but very welcoming and happy for the kids to run around everywhere

We visited on a bank holiday weekend but the site never felt crowded, even though it was busy. It felt very safe for our small children with plenty of space for them to run around and woods to make camps of their own. There are lots of tyre swings and some paddling streams in the woodland.
The highlights were being able to have a campfire and the glorious walk to the pub through the woods.
The staff are helpful and friendly and a trailer selling logs comes round in the evenings. Fridges are provided. The facilities are basic but fine. My only gripe would be that there is nowhere to throw away rubbish or recycling, and you are asked to take it all home with you. I can see what they are getting at, but I don't think it's practical, and and I think recycling bins should be provided at least.
Overall this is a fantastic site for families with it's acoustic music only policy, plenty of space and access to some beautiful countryside.

We stayed here the last weekend of August, first night we pitched up in the woodland area, lovely pitch with a ready built campfire area and bench's. This was a premium area and this was only available for the first night. We had a great night sat around the campfire chatting.
Next day we moved to the clover field, this was good too, although very damp with all the vegetation. Another lovely campfire, Nice to see all the other fire's dotted around the field, appeared almost medieval when you couldn't see the cars and tents.
Showers are basic but functional, muddy as it was a bit damp. Same with the toilets. 3 wash up sinks with hot water.
Sunday wasn't quite so fun as we were woke at 7am by rain, so we chucked everything in the back of the car and had breakfast back home.
All I all we had a great weekend, wood available from the site staff for the campfires at £5 a crate - we needed a couple of crates a night for a decent fire. Pretty site with woodland areas and a stream.
Be aware there are loads of children.
My rating - 8/10

Wow - lovely. Was a bit put off when we first arrived as it looked very basic and to be fair it is - no shelter for washing up, loos and showers not brilliant but I had a fab time, really loved it and am looking forward to returning.
Really relaxed atmosphere, fantastic being able to have camp fires, plenty of space and other campers were also great. Only downside was the price of the logs - a bit steep.

We had a lovely time here. The site is basic but flat and very relaxed. There is little or no noise from the roads as it is very rural - the only sound is the birds and the whistle of the nearby Bluebell railway.
The site allows fires and supplies good dry wood for a fee; on a still evening the sight of ten campfires surrounded by groups of happy campers quietly talking and relaxing was a real pleasure and like stepping back in time.
My kids loved the rope-and-tyre swings and the adults loved the nature and nearby Ashdown Forest.
The staff are helpful and cheerful.
The facilities are basic and the composting toilets not for the faint hearted but better than a festival at any rate.
There is some great food and wine to be found locally. Top site.

Just returned from a bank holiday weekend at the farm. Yes it has become busy and popular but it still is wonderful. The campsite was full but we still managed to find a quiet corner looking out over an empty field with peace and quiet. The loos and showers where busy but that is to be expected over a bank holiday weekend. The farm had planted all the camping fields with clover which was great, soft and smelling good.
I will still return even though it has become busier.
