Access road needs improving but site easy to find.

Friendly welcome by owners and wardens.

Lovely pitches. We had a great sized hardstanding next to our friends as requested.

Toilet/shower block always very clean but a bit dated and shower cubicles VERY small, especially when using the drop down stool.

Under-cover washing up very useful in the British summer! Plenty of water points around the site, so always close by.

Bins and recycling at entrance.

Lovely walks from the site into Corfe castle and beyond. Hilly on the way back!

Steam train in Corfe to Swanage and a few decent pubs. We loved the Fox Inn and used it twice for food and drinks.

The Greyhound in give 10% discount to NT members and those that have a valid train ticket so used it for afternoon drinks.

Fish & chip waggon comes to the site on Friday evenings. Very nice but expensive.

We had stayed here a few times in the past but it was the first visit for our friends. We all said we would return sometime.

 What a surprisingly lovely place!

Each pitch is individual, facilities clean and easy to access,

Fish and chip van Friday night was better value and quality than the normal ones.

A 20 minutes walk into Corfe off the road and choice of buses to Wareham, Swanage, Poole and Bournemouth which at the moment are only £2 per trip.

A great site in all ways.

Friendly helpful staff, site very quiet - except for the lovely birdsong - and the large pitches are dotted around the site and individually screened with hedging and trees.

Easy access direct from the site to the excellent network of footpaths with Corfe castle just over half a mile away without having to walk on roads at all.

Facilities are really good and spotlessly clean. Can't fault it.

A lovely peaceful site, nestled in the Purbeck Hills, a 10 minute walk from Corfe Village. Pitches are out in the open or in the trees, most had a level of privacy hedging. When I stayed there were lots of spring flowers, primrose, bluebell and orchids.

The site was very clean, as were the amenities and the staff friendly and happy to advise, the only thing of fault was that I found the water in the showers too hot and couldn't adjust the temperature, one size fits all. However this might be that I like a cooler shower than others.

There is plenty of walking directly from the site, I made a circular walk to the Blue Pool, great place for kids and also walked over Nine Barrow to Swanage for fish and chips at the Fish Plaice (best ever - not to be missed) and caught the train back to Corfe where I stopped off for a drink in the Greyhound, looks quaint but was a bit 'bums on seats'.

There are other watering holes in Corfe. Sculpture by the Lakes was another good place to visit - 20 mins drive away.

If you don't want to drive there is plenty of walking, the Swanage Railway and also the Bus #40 Swanage to Poole.

The pricing I found a bit odd, as it offered an oldies discount, but it was actually cheaper to book without (£30 cheaper) so explore all pricing options.

Would happily go back.

The best campsite, the nearest to the pretty village and castle (just 20mins walk along the footpath).

The pubs are geared up to catering & mass tourism so your not welcomed for just a drink at the bar.

Try the excellent British legion club for that or the Fox Inn which has a little bar and huge hidden beer garden.

Plenty of flat pitches among the woodland site. Possibly difficult access for larger motorhomes down a very narrow, bumpy lane. Priced on the high side but facilities are great and awnings are free.

Our dog was made welcome and there's plenty of walks straight off the site away from the narrow yet busy roads.

 Lovely quiet campsite.

Very clean, friendly staff and a great location.

Being Mike Leigh fans we loved the Nuts In May connection!

Highly recommended.

 Very clean and quiet site.

No direct views of Corfe castle but ideal location for exploring.

Very good village store and bakery in Corfe Cadtle not to mention lots of pubs!

The reviews below give a lot of information of this great site; quiet and lots of wildlife.

Lovely owners, very well kept, spotlessly clean facilities. Walk on footpath into Corfe castle village (or you could walk on road but no path), about 20 minutes - National Trust tea-room excellent and convenience store is very well stocked.

Bus runs to Swanage, Wareham and Poole.

We caught the steam train into Swanage. Loved the site and hope to return.

Great campsite. Very friendly. Campsite divided into smaller areas, so I liked the privacy that this gave.

Showers/toilet blocks very clean and well maintained. Owners very friendly and helpful.

Small downside - the internet/wifi connectivity was sparse in places, but this wasn't a problem overall.

I would definitely recommend staying here.

We hope to return again soon.
