Lovely peaceful and secure site laid out well with hedging and trees to give some privacy. Wildlife and dark skies are promoted with lovely wild flowers and grasses allowed to flourish. Saw tree creepers, woodpeckers, nut hatches and white throats as well as numerous song birds.
Unfortunately not all the pitches are completely flat but nothing seems on too much of a slope. Some are also quite shaded by the trees.
Exceptionally clean and warm shower blocks with endless and at times very hot water. Single family shower room and disabled facilities. Good washing up area and small laundry room.
Small shop in the reception run by very friendly and helpful staff supplying essentials, ice blocks and wonderful newly laid eggs. Lovely walk to Corfe for the castle steam railway and several pubs cafes etc that we managed with a push chair.
Easy access by car to Swanage, Wareham, Studland etc. Did some wonderful walks in the area. As National Trust members saved quite a bit using their carparks.
Came for two days with our family with three under fives and when they left we stayed on for rest of the week as it was so good.
There is small play area suitable for young children set back from the camping area.
Fish and chip van comes on Thursdays but can’t comment on quality as didn’t use it.
Would definitely recommend and will return.

Really liked this site and will return at some point.
The staff were very helpful and even showed us to our pitch. The facilities are well maintained and very clean. I was a bit surprised there was no drive over grey waste for motorhomes (took several trips to the drain with a bucket), but otherwise everything is to hand.
The hard standing pitches are definitely the ones to have, as most of the grassed areas are on a quite a pronounced slope. Our pitch was pretty spacious and quite sheltered.
The price was fairly good, a little over £27 per night with the over 60's discount.
This is a great location. A 15 minute walk via a public footpath into the stunning Corfe castle, to get the Purbeck Breezer bus, catch a steam train to Swanage, visit a pub or have a wander round this beautiful village.

Great site with private pitches.
Located close to Corfe castle and great for walks in surrounding area.
Very friendly hosts and clean and ample facilities.
Close to Poole, Bournemouth and Wareham. Plenty of spaces for dogs to walk.
Recommend.

This is a very quiet site, the toilet and shower block were immaculate.
Everybody was very friendly. The handout sheet contained lots of very useful local information.
We were sorry we weren't staying Thursday night apparently a fish and chip van visits.

Beautifully run site, 15 minutes lovely walk along footpaths to the town, bus and train.
The welcome was perfect, both from the staff on arrival and from the deer occasionally peeking out from behind the brambles.
Facilities were spot on. Highly recommended!

We had a roomy grass electric pitch, albeit with a pronounced slope. Most of the level pitches are hard standing so if you pick a grass pitch you're likely to be askew.
Had a pleasant stay - the walk to Corfe castle and village is straightforward and one we did a couple of times.
Toilet and wash facilities were good and well-maintained. Curious decision to close the whole block for cleaning where other sites close ladies then gents then mother & baby / disabled but this is made clear on arrival once you've forgotten and been caught out once, you soon remember.
The steam railway into Swanage and back makes a great day out.

Loved this site. Great pitch and views of Corfe castle and the sound of steam trains in the distance.
Facilities were ok, did need to wait for the toilet and showers during busy times!

On arrival & following a stressful journey, we arrived at the site & were pleasantly greeted.
However, after booking in we were told that we couldn't put up our utility tent, we couldn't park the car next to the van & the tv signal was poor/non existent, my heart sunk.
We were shown to our pitch & questioned why we couldn't put the tent up & park the car as there was clearly lots of room. We were then told it would be ok (relief) then the neighbour said the tv signal was ok & it was.
After that dodgy start the rest of the holiday was fab as was the weather. The facilities are up to the usual C&CC site standards & the fish & chips from the visiting van were very enjoyable.
It is in a wonderful situation for anyone who likes walking & we walked over 94 miles while we were there. Corfe castle is a lovely place but sadly has a lot of traffic running through it & far too fast.
We visited a 3 of the lovely pubs in Corfe & enjoyed pasties from the bake shop. The castle is National Trust & is well worth a visit if only for the views from the top.
We visited Swanage, Studland Beach, Durdle Door & Lulworth Cove ( incredibly busy place), Kimmeridge Bay, Old Harry Rocks to name a few. Overall an excellent holiday spent on this peaceful site & wouldn't hesitate to revisit
