Brilliant location. We managed to walk the coastal path and travel around as far as St Ives and Falmouth. No doubting great part of Cornwall as plenty to do and see.

The pitches vary in size and ours was far too small. Disappointed how rammed we were our tent was facing another and far too close with no view. Ours was on a slope so unable to change direction. For the cost of the pitch I would expect a better size and def more space if anything perhaps the odd hedge as it was all open so no privacy. Shame as the pitches above were very large.

The farm shop was adequate perhaps better selling local food than endless tat (extreme tat). A lot of concentration on buying from the pop ups.

Because of all the pushing of convenience and takeaways there was an enormous amount of rubbish piled into the bins and bin store I cant believe that with all the education on resources and landfill the campers didn't even bother with recycling. Looks like many people took their household and car waste and lobbed it in there. There was no notice of a recycling store until I found out a few days in that needs attention. Shame to see bottles and carboard all chucked in general waste. The huge bags you see campers carrying astonishing

Sorry but the pool - we didn't bother. With booking slots 48hrs before doesn't work for us. The pool is far far to small for the site. Better to have wrist bands and 1 hour intervals. On a long day Id like to use the pool but there was no chance of that. I heard a lot of people complaining and children disappointed. You cant really sell a luxury establishment with such a small pool def need to look into this.

Terrible trouble with wifi.

Disappointed with the toilet blocks they are far too small and dated. I don't like using a loo when my knee is pushed against the sanitary box or the lady in the next cubicle with her feet overhanging into mine. Should be a vanity area. The showers were the usual squashed effort unless you pay extra for a family suite. Probably once a decent toilet block but again for a 5* site I would expect a little more space and a touch of luxury. They were extremely clean and managed though.

Didnt use the bar/entertaining/takeaways. So cant comment. What I loved was how loud and busy it was then all of a sudden it was dead quiet. Never a night staying awake with noisy neighbours always a bonus.

Security doesn't seem to exist on this site anyone can access in even in the evening it wasn't policed well. Not sure if I agree with this system. When you enter there are children, people and utter choas on the site roundabout. Really isnt good enough we had a couple of near misses.

I loved our holiday the weather was great and we got out a lot. Managed to do a decent shop at the supermarkets and farm shops. The location was superb and going to the beach didn't involve a car drive always wins.

Didnt get to use the bus. But recommend it as parking adds up. Shame Newquay didn't do a proper park and ride where its one ticket.

I will return though for the location.

Our go to campsite in Cornwall.

We. Have been back here year on year

We all love it the children love the beach and the walks across the sand dunes

Always clean and tidy, the staff are polite and helpful. The chip shop on site isn't the best and is expensive. We always walk into holywell and buy from the local chip shop in the village.

Food at Woodies is always good, as well as the view over the beach and golf course.

The equipment hire shop is always handy as we hire a table top fridge saves carrying ours with us on the trip and costs about £25 for a week's hire plus a deposit. It's run separate from camp site.

Indoor soft play area for little children is always a hit when the weather isn't so kind.

The site shop is always busy and stocks a good range of products.

Not everyone's cup of tea but we absolutely love it here and will be back next year for sure!

Well we just arrived back from Travornick and this is our second visit. We stayed there about 2 years ago and have to say it's a pretty well run, well organised, clean campsite!

We stayed again near the play area so our kids had easy access from the pitch, which is good for us. The toilet block closest to us was kept as good as it could be, bearing in mind it was heavily used as its summer holidays. The drinks in the bar are reasonable prices, entertainment was good. Pool area fantastic and all the staff extremely friendly and helpful.

This really is 5 star campsite!

Beach is a trek but we drove down early and parked on car park, newquay and supermarket are only a short drive and it's well located from noise!

Second time we stayed at this site. 2021 and 2022

Excellent site,

Plenty of toilet / shower blocks spread out over the big campsite. And team of cleaners constantly rotating around the blocks.

Fishing lakes were good.

Outdoor swimming pool was good with staff on duty keeping an eye on everyone in the pool.

Small shop on site, and nice takeaways. ( main restaraunt needs advanced booking most of the time. )

All the staff and team at trevornick were helpful and friendly.

Beach is walkable, but it’s a long walk down.

Found the site very easy to access Cornwall from.

Would definitely recommend this site for a Cornwall holiday. ( we intend going again, )

Fantastic site, great pitches, hire shop on site just in case your cool box breaks like ours did on the first day!

I have been going here since I was a small child and I now go with my own family.

Definitely worth the drive and when the weather is great, well, its just fantastic!

 Overall an enjoyable experience,

Jacuzzi not working, sauna not open, and radio on in toilets all night long which disturbed our sleep,

No entertainment on in evening

We thoroughly enjoyed this site. Great pitches and very dog friendly.

The dog walking areas were great, and within 20 minutes you can walk across the national park clifftop and find the Cornish gem of a beach Polly Joke. Simply stunning.

The facilities were good, shop bar/restaurant and although I have retired my golf bats, the golf course was awesome.

Shower blocks very clean and well maintained.

The only critisim is the distance to the water and waste stations, not enough for a site this big.

The solution book a serviced pitch like we have done to return next year.

Excellent check in, showed to the pitch. Even asked if we needed a hand to set up. We were on a fully serviced pitch, excelled choice.

The site was spotless, people out cleaning all day. As soon as a unit left, they cleared that pitch straight away.

The bar, Woodys bar is good for gently relaxing whilst watching the sunset over the sea.

First time going, have booked for next year already.

We stayed at Trevornick for just over 2 weeks to the end of August in our touring caravan. Party was 2 adults, 2 kids and our dog. We stayed in Hay Field on a super pitch, which is grass with fully serviced EHU, water & waste. A big part of this review should bear in mind the cost per night we paid for this pitch, which was approx. £74. I consider this a premium amount and therefore expect a premium experience.

My opinion of Trevornick is split into two aspects, that of the holiday park facilities and that of the camping experience.

The holiday facilities are great, and probably what earns Trevornick its 5 star status. The pool is in lovely condition, a pleasure to be around, and genuinely heated to a comfortable temperature. Also well behaved dogs are allowed around the pool side.

The club with entertainment was a hit with our kids, and whilst might not appeal to everybody is well out of the way of the camping. The kids also really enjoyed the arcade next to the club. The shop is great and stocks a lot of useful items and there is a nice little cafe attached to it. There is a takeaway which we used once and was 'ok', a little expensive, but welcome on arrival day.

I used the fishing lakes a couple of times. One day it fished its head off, the other day was tricky, but the fish seemed in great condition and the fishing staff were friendly and helpful. Note, fishing is extra, something I would like to have seen included considering how much I paid for the holiday.

There is a golf course at Trevornick, and a pitch and putt. We played the pitch and putt and it is excellent, and we had a great time. There are lovely views and it's very large and challenging enough. We also used the 19th hole (Woody's) and had a decent enough meal.

The dog walking area encompasses two large fields and are excellent. These are the best I've encountered on a campsite.

Moving onto our camping experience, this is where things go downhill. Arriving at our Super Pitch, I remember a feeling of genuine disappointment, bordering on disbelief. There had been no attempt to mow the pitch and it looked like for a good while, i. E. Not just for our change over. Next door was a season resident and the grass on the borders was long and untidy.

There is zero privacy between pitches with just fading lines in the grass to indicate a boundary. This actually resulted in kids regularly coming onto our pitch, depending on how tolerant you are about this, might be frustrating in busy times.

The worse aspect though, was how uneven the pitch was. It was so sloping I couldn't level the caravan. Jockey wheel grounded, motor mover millimetres from the floor, still not level by quite a way. Pitching the other way around wouldn't have made a difference either, and because of lack of privacy, wouldn't have wanted to anyway.

For the amount we paid for the pitch, and a two week stay, this detracted from our experience. Also, the ground didn't drain brilliantly and exacerbated by the slope, every time it rained water came up through the awning floor. Depending on how long it rained it could be a day or couple of days walking about with water coming through the awning carpet. (note we used a breathable groundsheet and Boland carpet).

Also, before I even pitched, I had to use a spade to fill in some substantial holes in the pitch where the awning was going.

Thinking about this afterwards, I agreed with my partner that this was the worst presented pitch I've ever put the caravan on.

There are plenty of shower blocks at Trevornick, but the shower quality is hit and miss. Our closest block had mediocre showers, just warm enough, with just enough flow. One slightly further away had good temp and flow. There were times when the soap ran out for a few days and on occasions toilets were blocked for a couple of days also. Blocks would have benefited massively by having some mops so you could self clean the showers if necessary. All in all, average by today's standards.

There are lots of points to dispose of general waste, which is very welcome, however the only recycle point was a significant walk away from our pitch, which to be honest was a real pain over a 2 week stay.

Trevornick is in a great location. Holywell bay is a real gem, and there are some great walks straight off the site. All in all we had a lovely time in Cornwall, but unsure whether we would return to Trevornick, maybe if we could be guaranteed a better, flatter pitch, of which there were some BTW.

In summary: Great holiday park facilities & location, really not a great camping experience equals a sort of 2/3rds overall for value for money.
