We've been coming to this site every year for the last 4 years but unfortunately this is our last. The park is lovely, clean and in a great location but because extra members of the family will be joining us next year, the price is unacceptable.
We have found sites nearby with the same facilities but a better price. The site is always clean with lovely staff and there are some great coastal walks.
Been good here but it's too expensive now.

Well what can we say - Trevornick has got to be the best campsite we have stayed at. The staff were ALL absolutely fabulous, Kaitlyn, Dani, Jade, Jenny, Sally and all the other staff were always looking out for us and checking that we were ok. It felt like one big happy family.
We travelled in May half term as our familymoon - having got married in March - The Trevornick Team left us a lovely bottle of Prosecco outside our tent with a note to say happy honeymoon, enjoy the bubbles. What a lovely touch.
The campsite was 'quiet' we were told as it was the beginning of the season. During the summer holidays it does tend to get busy (we aren't quite brave enough to return for the busy period just yet, as we are quite new to camping)but we will hopefully be returning next year.
The pitch we were on was quite large with plenty of room for the kids to play around. It was quiet on our field (only about 4 others, there were lots of pitches but just not in use). We had electric hook up, water and also aerial - Trevornick have a DVD channel they put films on three times a day 9am, 5pm and 9pm. Good choice of films. Just remember to retune your tele when you get there - we didn't and called out the maintenance team - felt a bit silly when he asked about retuning it! needless to say after being a little red faced, Wayne helped to retune the tele and it all worked!
Toilet and shower blocks were always clean and tidy - no issues there.
Kids playgound was really good- ourtwo boys (aged 11 and 5) were loving it in there, lots to do.
The shop was well stocked (although a little pricey on some things ie teatowels - we'd been into Newquay and bought 3 teatowels from the pound shop and they were selling the exact same ones in the shop for £1 EACH!- spose thye've gotta make some money). The ladies in the shop were lovely, recognising us from the day before.
Fodders - the restaurant was nice too. Food was lovely, only gripe about that was that they had no roast chicken as was on the menu :-( other than that cannot fault Fodders.
The takeaway part of Fodders was not good at all - as I've seen on other reviews on here it was diabolical, they didn't have half of what was on the menu and the food that they did have was shocking - but to be fair to the team when told that it was awful they did give us a free round of drinks. Kept us happy!
Woody's- the other bar/eatery on site was also good. Staff again were friendly, pleasant and nothing was too much bother. Stunning views from Woody's out onto the golf course, we did the pitch and putt - what a laugh that was. Having never hit a golf ball before. It did get busy though.
The arcade was fab - Sally was there on watch. Such a lovely lady.
The Farm Club (i think it was called) ie the club house for evening entertainment was really good. Staff there were so welcoming.
The swimming pool was lovely - not cold and although it did get quite busy at times it wasn't too crowded.
The Fun Park was smaller than we thought it would be but still fun for the kids - quite expensive but would be worth spending the extra money on the wristbands. You can never play too much crazy golf!
All in all a really fab holiday had by our family.
Well done Trevornick Team - keep up the good work and your staff are an absolute credit to you. :-)
From the Heritage family - hope to come back and see you soon.

We are return visitors to this site. We love it. It is about a 25 min walk to a superb surf beach. Onsite facilities are plentiful, clean and well cared-for. Our daughter loves the kids club. If it was next to the beach, it would be perfect! Cannot commend it enough.

We stayed in one of the ready erected Safari Tents. The tent itself was comfortable if a bit basic, but I liked the amount of space we had around the tent, and the bench table outside meant we didn't have to keep dragging chairs in and out.
The site is VERY busy, with something for everyone, although the other pitched tents appeared to be very close together.
The theme park is not as big as expected, and after a day or two can be a little repetative, but there is lots to do off site too.
The beach is a good 10 minute walk down quite a steep slope so if you are not so mobile, you may be better off driving but the beach is lovely, although finding a quiet spot is a little tricky.
The only disappointment was the food from the take out - to be honest, it was diabolical.
Overall it was a lovely holiday, although I have to admit I still prefer my own tent lol.

This was our second visit to Trevornick, and all I can say is it never fails us. On arrival we checked in and then the guy on the scooter took us to our pitch (none of the looking round and having to turn around because you have missed your pitch), the pitch was a standard pitch with electric and a good size we were on red field which is dog friendly, we like this field as the standard pitches are all around the edges so you only have neighbours either side and not behind or in front which can be the case on some of the premium pitches and non dog field. We have to children aged 11 and 7 and the site caters well for them when we arrived at our pitch they went to explore as they had been the previous year they knew where playground, shop and arcade are, leaving us to set up. We did use the club a few times and they did provide good entertainment but it is not big enough for a site that size and we stuggled to get a seat although saying that there was a lot of empty seats with coats on (sunbed senario), they sell reasonably priced drinks, try the rattler cyder tastes delicious but at 6% can be a bit lethal.
They have a well stocked shop which is reasonably priced with friendly staff, fresh baked bread and pastries every morning (not good for the waist line). The toilet blocks are cleaned regularly and I never found them to be dirty as the cleaners are going in from 6am to 10pm all through the day, my only gripe about them is more hooks are needed as there is only one is some of them. There is a launderette which I used twice. The pool is clean and lifeguard attended and you can also take dogs in the pool area as can in the club and restaurants another plus. We visited fodders restaurant as we had vouchers from booking last year we found the food good but they could do with more choice. We visited the funpark a few times which the kids loved, could do with opening a bit later though. Our pitch was lovely but I have asked for the trees to be cut down as with the overhang you get the sapp of them on your unit (not nice).
The site is well located you can walk to Holywell beach we did one evening but in the day took the car as we have too much stuff to carry, it costs £5 to park. The site is about 5 mins drive from Newquay and you can tour most of Cornwall as it is a central site, we visited St Ives (use the park and ride), Padstow, Mother Ivys Bay, Perranporth but we stayed on site and went to the beach as the weather was kind to us. Another good beach is Polly Joke beach its situated between Holywell Bay and Crantock and its a lovely little cove although it is not lifeguard attende so you need to be more careful. Another must is the Bowgie in situated at near Crantock, amazing view, good food and service. While we were there my 11 year old had surf lessons at Holywell Bay school of surf and she can now surf, which means a trip each year to the Cornish coast, as we purchased a 7ft surf board from Boardmasters which we visited while there.

Reading Hovell69 review covers most points I would make on this caravan site.
The only other things to add are:
Fun park is more aimed at children 10 and under, if you have teenagers they will find it 'boring' quoting my 14 year old.
Pitches close to the fishing ponds have an excellent view, but are tight to pitch into. Glad we had very friendly neighbours who helped us push onto the pitch when our motor movers decided to pack in!
These lower pitches could do with a small toilet block as it is a bit of a hike to the shower block, ( especially when emptying for élan point). Phone signal for O2, vodaphone and EE ( all our phones) was very poor.
Rest is covered on other reviews.
Great site! Thanks for a good holiday.

We have just arrived back today (21/08/15) after leaving 1 day early from a 14 day holiday.
We decided to leave because of the levels of noise throughout the park, and especially from our neighbours. Despite numerous complaints to the site staff about noise (which regularly went on until 0230) and litter, nothing seemed to be done to deal with the culprits although the maintenance teams were visiting on a regular basis to tidy up the mess. The staff were extremely helpful and apologetic (it's not their fault that they have a certain clientele!).
Despite there being 3 places to eat on site (4 if you include the takeaway) you could only reserve a table at the main restaurant where I'm afraid to say, the food was substandard (chilli con carne with no meat and raw scampi were only 2 of our troubles) and the cleaning of the tables, cutlery holders, the cutlery and the glasses was poor (previous customers meals over everything). When this was brought to the attention of the staff, they were dismissive and didn't seem to care (I can only assume that they are seasonal staff) until a complaint was made to the manager, who promptly gave the staff a talking to, and gave us discounted meals. Needless to say that we didn't eat there after the second food incident, but instead chose to eat at 2 of the local pubs, whose food was excellent and a lot cheaper.
The shower blocks always appeared to be clean at first glance, but on closer inspection (if you peered into the open rafters) there was evidence of lack of attention to detail.
The washing machines were REALLY expensive (£4 per 25 minute wash) and the machines didn't really seem to clean your clothes, just make them wet! And the dryers were £1 per 10 minutes.
This is certainly NOT a site for those who wish to have a peaceful stay, but is more suited to those who wish to stay on site all day, every day. Needless to say, we will NOT be using this site ever again.

Just got back from a fantastic two weeks at Trevornick, the weather was brill which is always a plus. The site itself is great, the facilities are fantastic. On arrival we were shown to our pitch by lads on scooters which saves all the hassle of finding it. The swimming pool is life guard attended and clean, and we never had a problem getting in. The shop is well stocked and staff very friendly and its reasonable priced. The showers and family rooms are cleaned regular although a mop would be ideal in each block and family room as it is not possible to clean after each use, and sometimes the floors were a little dirty. The pitches are mostly well sized ours was a good size the only problem was the overhang of the trees although I have since been told I could have asked and they would cut them back must remember for next year. It is in a great location about 20 mins from beach we did walk in the evening for the sunset but wouldn't recommend in hot sun with all beach stuff and two young children. There is a children's playground although I would have liked to see a smaller one near our pitch as the main one was a walk away and we had to accompany the kids. The club was ok and Kerry the children's entertainer was good with the kids and adults. We didn't eat on site so I cant comment on food although kids had a takaway of chips and they were ok. We went to the Treguth inn which is just down the road from Trevornick and that was good home-cooked food, reasonable prices and friendly staff and they also allow dogs. We tried a a couple of other beaches Crantock and Watergate both have life guard patrols.

We (2 Adults 2 Children) stayed here for 7 nights and found the site as beautiful and well maintained as it was when we last visited (2011).
This is a big family site with groups pitched together that may not suit campers after a quiet site, but is in a prime location for holywell beach. It does have everything you could need with the hire shop and a good stocked, fair priced general shop.
There have been layout improvements with the entertainment complex. The toilet/shower blocks are clean and modern with free showers and family shower rooms at a cost. The pitches are big and we had a problem with ours so customer services sorted it out for us.
The site is not too far from Holywell beach which is enchanting with its sand dunes and caves. There are lifeguards on patrol and surf shops/surf hire and a couple of good pubs and general shops by the beach. We shall return in the future and can highly recommend this site.
