Had a wonderful holiday here.
The site itself is wonderful. If you can afford it shell out for one of the super pitches.
Location wise - it is a drive from most places. If you know you are going to park the car at the beach car parks everyday, consider joining the national trust as it meant parking was free at these beaches.
Toilet blocks and showers very clean. Would have preferred more paths for the kids to walk on, sometimes the vehicles we've very close to pedestrians and it felt a little unsafe.
Bar prices high as to be expected but they kept the young one entertained so it was worth it.
I wouldn't bother with dining on site as it all smelt and tasted a little greasy and with so much local fresh food, you can make your own delicious meals. Chips and pizza from the take away was just awful and very pricey.

Stayed here for the last two weeks of August and overall had a very good time.
We paid for a fully serviced pitch in red field and enjoyed a quiet area of the park that we shared with five other units. Only a mark in the grass separates you from the adjacent unit and it can feel a bit crowded.
I did feel that the pitch size was less than generous for the amount paid but compared to the tent city lower down the site I was pleased with our position. Despite the sense of crowding the site has a very calm feel, lots of family's around and a good buzz about it. Always quiet after eleven at night.
There is a short walk to the beach at Holywell Bay which is great for bodyboarding and is also friendly towards those travelling with dogs.
The site is very welcoming, full marks to the staff and the facilities are well maintained.
Value for money? I'm a bit stuck on this, having to pay to park my car and paying in excess of £5 a night for my dog I can't say it offers fantastic value however the overall feedback from the whole family is one that the holiday was a great success (despite the best efforts of the British weather to dampen our spirits) so I can't really complain.
Would we go back again? probably but I'll try a couple of different sites in the area first.

This a big site with every facility going and all the site is well maintained and kept clean,
The site has plenty of toilet blocks and the showers were hot & free
We used the takeaway which if a little expensive did serve good quality food & used the club which was very good the night we went with an excellent act on to entertain the whole family
The site has a pitch n putt golf course which we used several times & this was excellent as well.
Next door is the fun park which entertained the kids for a few hours, all in all a good site if you like the bigger site, as have to agree with some of the previous comments, as the site does loose some of the friendliness you seem to get on smaller sites, but if you want a big site with all the facilities you will find this site hard to beat !

We recently stopped at Trevornick and overall were impressed with the cleanliness of the site.
The facilities are great along with the pitch size. What really let the site down though was how many pitches were crammed into each field.
Another camper told us how she came the last 3 years and each year there was more pitches in each field so this year was her last.
Cornwall is a gorgeous place but next time I will look for another camp site to stay in as due to the closeness of the pitches it was very noisy.

Just returned from an 11 night stay at this site. This is not the best site we have visited in terms of pitches, it is somewhat crowded, they tend to be very close together and not the biggest in area. However, this is a cracking site in terms of facilities which we could not fault.
The main club house is roomy although it needs to be as this is a very busy site. We found the entertainment very good - certainly the acts we saw and the children's entertainment was pretty good too.
The shop is very handy as it sells a wide range of goods. Pool although always busy was very welcome - kids loved it. Had a round of golf on the 18 hole pitch n putt, this was quite impressive, I'm not exactly Nick Faldo but a challenging course for someone of my standard and very well kept.
The beach was quite a difficult trek especially with young children but worth it, what a beautiful bay.
Take away facility was handy late in the night when we felt peckish after a few drinks. The fun park at the far end of the site was quite ok although we wouldn't like to pitch too near to it ourselves as the noise especially from the go-carts is very loud.
We enjoyed this site enough to book before we left for next year as it offers everything for a family looking for a site that has plenty to offer, although it's not going to be everyone's cup of tea!

This was our fist visit to this sight. We travelled from yorkshire through the night(about 8 hours )We booked 2 pitches together using the sight map on web page.
The pitch we booked was a premium pitch. However it was not suitable for a tourer with awning as very sloping and should have been informed of this at the time of booking. We had to move pitches and this meant we were separated from our friends.
The sight is in a lovely location near all local attractions and some lovely walks.
The pitch and putt course is excellent- we had a fab time playing with stunning views!
We used the clubhouses on site all were ok. However the food prices were expensive.
We booked this camp because it mentioned a'Hub' for teenagers. This facility is no longer available, so not much to do for the teens only hanging around the arcades.
This is not a cheap site so future investment in a indoor swimming pool would prove to be popular as the current outdoor pool is weather permitting.
It was extremely busy when we were there and the shower and toilet facilities proved to be inadequate always full most of the time. However they were always clean and replenished.
Over all a good sight, but not not value for money.

Well this was the fourth year we have been back to this site. Kids love it and we love it.
We stay on a super pitch which gives tonnes of space and elec hook up, tv ariel etc.
There is a great hire shop where there is anything fom bikes to freezers.
The location is amazing with stunning views over the golf course and its own beach.
There is an excellent shop in site with a cafe and sports bar.
It is in a great location with Nequay & Padstow just up the road
Entertainment is of the highest quality and staff extremely friendly.
I would always recommend Trevornick

We have just returned from a week's stay in a tent at Trevornick. We booked a super pitch and there was plenty of space.
Toilets/showers/park/pool/shop/eating places - excellent
Every member of staff we encountered was polite and friendly.
Food on the site is good but expensive. A meal for 2 adults and a child plus 3 non-alcoholic drinks cost £32. 00!
Playground was disappointing in size and equipment - and was full of children without parental supervision.
Entertainment for children in the evening was a couple of games that were drawn out over an hour -which we thought was poor.
The distance to the beach is 0. 6 miles by road and then a 5 minute walk to get to the beach - all uphill on the way back and not for the faint hearted. Alternative route via the sand dunes is a good half hour walk - again all uphill coming back. I have never seen sand dunes like them in my life!
The site needs regular security patrols around the whole site, not just around the entertainment/arcade areas. And noisy campers need to be addressed - they ruined our holiday.

Large site well looked after. Toilet and shower blocks clean. You can hire family bathrooms, but beware its not for sole use.
On super pitches with water, ehu, tv, and grey water drainage (need a very long pipe to reach drains, some of which run up hill. Dogs seem to be allowed everywhere (not all pitches are dog friendly).
In club on an evening loads of dogs, not very nice unless you love dogs.
Beaches are fantastic crantoc beach for chilling out other beaches are more for body boarding, surfing.
Security is a bit lapse, not asked once for passes. People parking in holywell fun park on an evening then walking into trevornick to stay for free at caravans /tents.
Fishing is good and not expensive £12 for week. Plenty of pubs nearby some you need to drive to. Golf course looks good. Meals in woodys look poor and expensive nearly £10 for a cheese burger. They moved the sky sports from the sports bar to woodys
Swimming pool was clean but lacking in chairs beds etc for the ammount of guests. Hire shop is good you can hire most things wet suits to a fridge.
Shop on site fairly good. Site quiet on a night after 10. 30 pm. Will prob go again but not use club house or woodys.
Its only a short drive to morrisons aldi mcdonlds etc. You follow the young lads on there mopeds to your pitch, very helpful.
Met some nice people who return year after year. Ground staff seem to continually cutting grass, noise got on our nerves. They cant wait for you to vacate your pitch. Most of the pitches seem to be on a slope, need levelling blocks for van.

Although a nice site, it was very large and therefore lost that personal touch, very like butlins, not really our cup of tea.
As a couple with two dogs we found that toilet and shower facilities fantastic, and a great dog walking field. However this site definitely is catering for young families.
The site is about 15 minutes walk to Holywell Bay which is a gorgeous beach allowing dogs. For an evening meal St Pirans at Holywell Bay is worth a visit, had a lovely meal in their beer garden overlooking the sand dunes.
Site is about 10 minutes drive into Newquay and buses do pass the site if required.
You'll see from our ratings that we've given low value for money as although a nice site for the amount we paid a lot of the facilities we just didn't use and therefore lacked value for us.
