We have stayed here a number of times and love it. We usually opt for one of the pitches in the overflow fields as they are a little less populated, yet still near to essential facilities.

It is a bit of a hike to the beach, and even longer back up the hill!

This was our second visit to Trevornick.

Excellent facilities. Very clean toilets and showers. Staff always cheerful and helpful. Shop a little pricey but well stocked. Plenty of entertainment to amuse all. There is a kids club for smaller children. The sports bar has a varied menu with reasonable prices and food is also available from the cafe. With three boys aged 8, 14 and 16 there is something to suit all ages.

We loved Trevornick. This was our first family camping trip and I must admit, although it was me who found the site, I was a bit of a campophobic!
I couldn't have been more wrong I loved every minute of it.
We stayed in a Super Eurotent which was very clean and very well equipped. The facilities onsite are brilliant, a well stocked shop, a very nice bistro/takeaway and a choice of clubs if you like entertainment. Lovely swimming pool.
The toilets and showers (a good 5 mins for 20p, but beware - very hot!) were kept very clean and if you got your timings right you didn't have to queue -I found it best to go for a shower about 3.30 to 4.00 o'clock in the afternoon if you could.
I cannot praise the staff highly enough, they were so helpful from the shop staff to the club and the lifeguards to the security staff.
We enjoyed ourselves so much we have decided to invest in our own tent for our next visit. We will definitely be going back.
Oh, and the weather was pretty good too!!

Just returned from a week at Trevornick. The place is excellent and is 100% geared up to camping, very clean and well kept with good facilities. The whole place has a 'family feel' and is much more personal than some of the big corporate places such as Haven.

Hayfield has larger pitches and we were easily able to squeeze our Kyham Espace onto the pitch without upsetting any of the neighbours.

The only bad mark I would give is the Kanga Club. In the welcome pack it positively encourages you to leave your kids in the clubhouse while you spend time in the bar, stating that it is fully supervised at all times.
Our kids aged 6 and 5 wanted to go in the club so we checked it out and left them for an hour. The clubhouse took their names and asked whether they were allowed to leave on their own - to which we said no.
Upon returning an hour later I found my six year old son sat at the top of the clubhouse with tears streaming down his face - he was absolutely distraught. A boy had been hitting and bullying him for virtually the full hour.
Whilst trying to console him, my five year old daughter was allowed to walk out the front door on her own !! - the single member of staff on duty being unaware I was there at that time.
Needless to say I was livid and complained to the park management - Unfortunately, despite their apologies, I think my complaints fell on deaf ears and I don't expect they will alter their procedures in any way. This is dissapointing as it was the only fault we found during our stay.

I would recommend the site to anyone, but for parents of younger children then I would suggest you keep an eye on them yoursefl while they enjoy the Kanga club and it's facilities.

We spent 10 days at Trevornick (2 adults and 2 children aged 3 and a half and 6) returning on 10th Aug and missed all the really foul weather! Great location, clean toilets, very hot showers!, challenging golf course, nice cafe, friendly staff, on-site security guards at night, main pool could have done with being a little warmer but that's the only thing I could fault. We would definitely return and recommend the walk over to Polly Joke and Crantock.

Returned from 2 weeks in a Euro Tent on Saturday. It was basically all I have read on here and we are not disappointed. The touring tents seemed a little crammed together and we were concerned about how busy it looked on arrival but to be honest there are so many facilities (both shower blocks and entertainment facilities) that it doesn't give that impression whilst there.

The shower blocks are the cleanest we've come across, modern and well decorated and I only had to queue once for a shower in 14 days. Pitch and Putt course is a superb with spectacular views and perfect greens for a novice like me with children. Fishing was less successful for us but we saw some good fish taken by others. There is an abundance of good swimming and surfing beaches to either side of the camp and for those with the inclination, a fantastic walk from Trevornick, down to Hollywell Beach over the cliffs to Porth Joke following the coastal path, then over to Crantock beach and finally over to Fistral, about 5-6 miles and with stunning views. The local bus service can take you back, but we decided to walk back!

The staff at trevornick we came across seemed to enjoy working there which is always a good sign and they were always friendly and helpful. I can't really fault the site, it may be too big for some, but it is not too big that is has forgot the important things that campers like. We'll undoubtedly go again, either in the Euro tent which makes travel down easier and the stay more comfortable, or in our own tent for a shorter stay.

Awesome.... can't fault it despite the weather! even though it is large it is divided into relatively small fields by hedges, we were in the yellow field. Facilities first rate. We were with another family so in total 4 adults and 3 kids and couldn't ask for more. Played golf, used the pool, ate in the restaurant, used the bars, used the kids play area, went to the fun park, used the shop... all fine and the toilets / showers were fine, clean and plently of them. We will be back.

We visited (2 adults and 2 kids aged 9 and 5) over the Whitsun week, we arrived at 8am on the first Saturday and were directed into a holding field where we then had to park up and walk to reception to get booked in etc. No problem in reception, very helpful staff who acted efficiently and politely - always a good sign for first impressions. We returned to the car and waited to be called in, only 5 minutes or so and we on our way following a scooter to our pitch.

We were pitched alongside the pathway running to the Holywell Bay Fun Park which at first we thought would be disaterous, people trapsing past all day long, but we positioned our UKCampsite.co.uk pennant well for all to see and spent mosts days out and about exploring the area.

The toilets were lovely and clean and played local radio, the showers were 20p a time but lasted plenty long enough for me and my youngest daughter to shower together. Although the site was very full the facilities never struggled to cope and not once did any of us have to queue for either the toilet the showers.

Fresh water points all over the site and plenty of elsan and waste points meaning you didn't have to go too far to fill up with water etc.

Onsite there is a great playpark - that is supposed to be supervised by an adult at all times, I rarely noticed an adult in there keeping an eye on the kids, this was locked at 9pm so the noise from there ceased at a sensible time. There is an outdoor swimming pool open 11am to 7pm (I think), pay as you go golf course, Holywell Bay Fun Park, with crazy golf, battle boats, go-karts etc (can get pricey if in there for too long), there is a fishing lake plus so much more.

There is a sports bar - lovely, reasonably priced food, a bistro, nice grub, and the club house. A great shop that sold pretty much all you need, at a good price as well.

The beach is a 15 minute walk down the road and about 40 minutes over the dunes but I would recommend going the dunes way as they are very high and absolutely wicked fun to run down!

The noise levels were incredibly low considering how busy the site was and regular patrols from security made this a reality.

The area is fab with soooo much to see and do and I am sure that I have missed out so much about this site as well in this review but all I will say is try it for yourself.

I do not like massive, commercialised sites and when I arrived I was horriefied by what I saw, but after about a day I realised that this site was not noisy, was not full loads of kids shouting abuse and booting balls against the awning, this in fact was a pleasant site which I would return to again if there wasn't such a huge choice of sites in the area that I havn't been to.

This site comes highly recommended from me.

Well, second time staying here, still friendly staff, lovely new pool too. Although the weather wasn't exactly great, we managed to do lots, a walk along the hill towards Perranporth is well worth the scenery if not tired legs!
The club seemed packed every night, so we either went upstairs to the other bar, or took a walk to Cubert to the Treetops Inn, which is child friendly & has a pool table. There's also the Gull Rock sports bar, which has a big screen TV, also an area outside to sit with the view of a lovely sunset... on a nice evening of course!
Then there's the Treguth Inn, I think it's called, half way down the hill, then the St. Pirans Inn which does a BBQ weather permitting with a nice play area & sand pit situated at the edge of the beach. Always plenty to do in & around Holywell Bay, definately recommended!

Just arrived back from Trevornick, stayed in one of their super euro tents rather than taking our own down.
Tents were more than adequate, had everything that you needed. Facilities were good showers were 20p but lasted for quite some time, toilets very clean.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Shop had everything you required, if a little pricey.
Entertainment was low key but very entertaining and the beach is definately worth the walk across the golf course and sand dunes.
Will be booking to go back later in the season but will take our own tent this time as the eurotents are quite pricey in hign season, but overall a very enjoyable camp - very centraly based for travelling around Cornwall.
