 An excellent spacious site, our fully serviced pitch was great, dry and clean after very heavy rain,
Facilities were clean warm and well designed.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
The site was very quiet and pleasant. Would come again,

We had booked an electric hardstanding, of which there are only about 20 (majority of touring pitches are fully serviced).
Pitch is allocated pre-arrival (we asked to move to one of the other 10 empty pitches as our door faced into next unit whichever way we went on - no chance to change receptionist couldn't see why and refused). Would always rather choose our in pitch. Receptionist said they don't care which way vans park so if doors face so be it.
Paid £30 for pitch and found we got free access to castle grounds (usually £8 each) and reduced entry to castle for £5 each (usually £17 each. Amazing offer which makes campsite incredible value.
Hardstanding pitches with grass around means many pitches you need to drive over grass to get to pitch - think proper access would be safer and easier
There are 4 shower / loo blocks. Super well kept, water not the hottest though.
Small shop on site sells essentials. There is a Spar shop in village 10-15 minute walk away.
For us the attraction was the castle and for that you can't beat this site. Even after main gates are closed the campsite has access to walk the grounds during evening.

The whole site is amazingly well kept with extremely clean and modern facilities.
This is a perfect stay for 1 night and also up to 1 week if you wanted as there is plenty to do on site and around the local area.

Lovely, well maintained site.
There was plenty of room for our 8 man tent and 2 cars and the staff were friendly and helpful from start to finish.
Fellow campers were also friendly with a mixture of families and solo/couple travellers.
We also enjoyed the discounted access to the castle very much.
Unfortunately the weather wasn't kind on our 2nd night / 3rd day but the breakfast shack was a god send whilst we packed up.
Highly recommend this site as a base for exploring in the area.

Nice, spacious campsite.
Friendly staff.
The central field without camping spots adds to the spacious atmosphere.
All over a quiet, relaxed environment.

Very helpful staff, particularly as I made an error with the booking and they quickly helped to resolve this.
Great location for visiting many of the local attractions, your site fees include free access to the castle gardens and a heavily discounted admission to the castle.
The site was immaculate and has nice open green space and walks around the site.
A bit costly at £35 per night for a fully serviced pitch and additional charge for an awning, but I would probably visit again for a short stay.
Only other negative was the noisy crows that kicked off at all hours.

Third time we’ve been to this site and for good reason as it’s a lovely site.
Staff were friendly and helpful on arrival, there is a well stocked shop on site and the nearby cafe and hotel make this a perfect destination. Plenty good walking in the vicinity too.
The only disappointing aspect was the only open toilet block was a fair walk away from the area of touring caravans despite there being a toilet block situated within the area - very inconvenient, in my view there were enough occupied caravans to justify both blocks being unlocked and accessible.
Despite this we will definitely return.

Nice wash room clean and tidy
Camping space nice and roomy
Not to close to other campers
Friendly staff and very helpful.
Walks and scenery are stunning.
Only thing wrong was transport
To Pitlochry buses very few and far between. Over all really great camping site

This was the most expensive site we have stayed in and it is not true you get what you pay for. The site was cramped, noisy and the service less than friendly. If you want a restful break this is not the place to stay.
We paid for an XL site and we could barely get the caravan and awning (which cost extra) on the hard stand. Car had to go on the grass which the site seemed quite happy about.
The laundry was only open 9-6 not very handy if going out all day. It was in the reception block so not close to any of the caravan sites, and then another walk to the washing lines provided.
The site was not well maintained and the toilet/shower blocks were dirty and smelly.
The dog walk was good (paid extra for our small dog too) but we will not be visiting this one again.
