Faultless in every respect. Spacious pitches, idyllic location, hotel-standard toilets & showers, well stocked shop! Loads of room for kids to play inside and out. Absolutely everything is perfect - best site ever visited by a long shot (we've been touring for approx 20 years)

A lovely site in a super village location. Notice a lot of comments re lack of showers. We stayed alongside friends & used the showers daily between 8am & 9am with no problems. The site is clean, with a well stocked shop, friendly & helpful staff. A real family friendly site. Local Atholl arms does good food with child friendly garden. Will be back to this one!

First time at Blair atholl, great site, plenty room for tt, they have small and large pitches. Staff are really friendly. The only downside is the showers, they need more as you need to go at 5.03am or go at night, plus the games room closes at 8pm - I think this should be opened till 9.30pm at least Other than that I would go back no problem.

Big site but plenty of room, only just off the A9 and walking distance to couple of pubs/restaurants - staff friendly. Blair Castle gardens is free if you stay at this site and that takes a good couple of hours wandering where you can see lots of wildlife plus many different birds. Excellent cafe at Blair Castle, fresh food, not pre packed supermarket sandwiches. Looking forward to visiting with campervan when I retire in thirty years. Toilets/showers were spotless, if you get up at 730am and queue, you should have a lie in, after 9am, nobody uses them.

July 2005 Must be one of the best sites I have ever pitched on.
Toilets heated and very clean, cleaned twice a day, although there was a shortage of showers, but it was not a problem even though the site was full.
Layout of site is great, never feels too busy, plenty of space for the kids to play.
A must visit site.

July 2005 Location is excellent, within walking distance of the Atholl Arms Hotel that sells real ales. I can recommend the Loft Restaurant in Blair Atholl.
Toilets were satisfactory. However, plumbing for the toilets was inadequate, there are not enough showers and there are too few hooks in the cubicles.
The open recreational space in the centre of the site made it feel less crowded, even though this was in the school holidays.

July 2005 Best holiday we have ever had. Very relaxing and very friendly atmosphere. We did not like the position of our original pitch as too close to the road with a 2 year old and when we asked to be moved we were given a list of all available pitches for the week to look at - staff could not be friendlier or more helpful.
The camsite was spotless and even my daughter commented on the toilets smelling like the swimming baths although it could do with soap in the toilets as in the rush to take my toilet training daughter you often forgot to take your own.
The site was busy but the way it is layed out you do not notice, and it is nice the way they have tents and caravans together. The shop is ample we did not need to use the games room but it did not seem overly busy either.
The laundry facilities are ace.The surrounding walks and area is fantastic with loads to do and see. We will definitely be back again and again.

June 2005 very large site, shower blocks were immaculate. large play area for the kids but BEWARE....rabbit holes in the grass of the play area can make for disaster(our daughter tripped in one and broke her wrist on our first day there). The castle grounds were stunning as was the castle.

May 2005 We camped at this site for two nights, staying here to see the Blair Atholl highland games which were excellent too :o)
Pro’s Large and well laid out site. Warm toilets within easy reach of most pitches. Big green space in the middle of the site, perfect for (big) kids to play! Good sized pitches, ours had a large 4 man tent, our car and room to sit outside. Well stocked shop that wasn’t overpriced. Friendly staff. Within easy walkimng distance of the village which had excellent facilities: ATM machine, pub – which sold really nice locally brewed beers, hotel restaurants…
Site would be great for kids (we don’t have any)
Cons Not nearly enough showers. The toilet block that served our part of the site only had 2 showers to share between probably 20 – 30 pitches (I had to Q at 7:30 in the morning!). As a consequence these got really dirty and muddy by about 9 am. Loads of kids which may bother some.
Conclusion Overall we had a great stay; everyone in our party had an excellent time and had positive things to say about the site. I would recommend the site to most people and will probably go back at some point myself.

August 2004 Brilliant site all amenities, close to lovely countryside and close to Pitlochry and other attractions. Very clean and friendly. All tents, caravans etc around central play area which is great to keep an eye on the kids. Wonderful place well worth return visits. No restuarant on site but there is a takeaway across road. Restuarants vary in near town Pitlochry but reasonable in most places.
