This is a fantastic site which we have visited many times. Very well looked after. Although the toilets are only in a pre-fab building they are always spotless. The owners obviously take great pride in the site. Lovely play area for younger children and right next to the beach so always plenty to do. You can safely cycle to Eastbourne on the cycle path and there are also plenty of places to eat at the nearby Marina which is a few minutes walk or bike ride from the site. Can't recommend it enough.

We had a great holiday here, Eastbourne has lots of stuff to do - lots of farms,a science park, Drusilla's Zoo/theme park, soft play and pools and beaches - great area. The campsite pitches fine - pretty flat, kids play area was nice and the toilet block is new. Toilets weren't sparklingly clean everytime, but then it was half term and there were lots of kids in and out and on the whole they were fine just muddy footprints over the floor. There were 3 showers which could get queued up in the morning but were very nice once in them - it is a shower/toilet and basin sort of cubicle so nice amount of room to get washed and dressed! The washing up area had 2 sinks so could get queued up. Owners were very helpful and there was info all about things you could do, the beach was just over some steps - pebbley except for when the tide is right out and there is some sand. We all really enjoyed it and would go there again

Just returned from here after a fantastic 3 night stay. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Our pitch was spacious with plenty of electrical hookups and drinking water points. The toilets and showers were spotless,i even used the showers which is something I do try to avoid while camping as most are horrible but this was a pleasure to use,a bucket and mop are on hand to mop up after yourself. There is also a laundry room and washing up facilities both equally clean and tidy. The play park was a hit with all the children there,my 2 included but after it gets dark they will ask the kids to leave the play area for safely reasons as it isn't lit at night . At the end of the field there are some wooden steps that take you over to the beach(which early evening had sand which the kids enjoyed digging in),also there is a walk way that takes you behind all the new housing developments and you will eventually come out at sovereign harbour, where there is plenty of shops and restaurants including adsa and a cinema. The on site shop is small but has the essentials. We all had a fantastic stay here and didn't want to leave, cant wait to return again (which will be very soon).

We had a lovely time at this campsite. We were in the field with the mobile homes - where the tents have a little wooden fence separating them - makes it feel like you have a little patio. Everything spotlessly clean - in this field you have access to the new toilet block which is excellent. The showers are in individual bathrooms with own shower, toilet and sink. Site was fairly quiet when we visited - with only 3 showers in this block suspect it could become a little busy at peak times. There are no ballgames but a v. Good play area and the beach is only yards away. Beautiful surrounding area - went to Battle, Bodiam and Bexhill. Cannot fault the area for lots to do and will visit again.

This was our second visit to this site. A great base to explore the south coast, with some terrific walks and historical sites to interest all. Reasonable facilities, flat site and well stocked shop. Just 20mins walk from Pevensey town, and less than 10mins drive from Eastboune or Hastings.
It was my wife's first experience of camping, which she really enjoyed. This was possibly due to the fantastic weather, and not the fact that England lost on penalties to Portugal in the World Cup.! Living just an hours drive away makes it the ideal short break destination. I feel we will be returning in the very near future.

Broadhembury Holiday Park - Ashford
Just 15 minutes from Ashford and 25 minutes from fabulous beaches, you'll be ideally placed for exploring the Garden of England. The park is divided into a family area, that is close to the play parks, the sports field and the games room, and a peaceful adult-only area in The Meadows, that is ideal for couples. A range of grass and hardstanding pitches, fully serviced or non electric, catering for all sized of tents and caravans.
On both areas you will enjoy five-star, centrally-heated showers, and private cubicles with toilet, hand basin, dryers etc. Laundry and campers kitchens, a large childrens playground, sports field, games room and television lounge. The park has CCTV and WiFi is available for a small fee. A dog walking area is provided on site. Find out more here

Weather - lovely. We were placed in the overflow field with a lot of other people and a contingency of French children. One portakabin with three toilets and two showers (Don't know what the men's were like.) which didn't work very well. Floor flooded frequently - but was alleviated by the constant mopping by the french girls. Compared to other campsites we have stayed on this shouldn't be a five star, but we have stayed in worse. However, saying that, it was close to the beach and plenty of other amenities and generally quiet. We would stay for a weekend but no longer as there are better places.

We visit Bay-View 2 or 3 times a year. The site is being greatly improved year by year. Right next to the beach, so long leisurely walks are a must and our dog loves it too. Chris, who is a laugh a minute and his wife Mary, manage the site. They are extremely friendly and nothing is too much bother for them.

Just come back from this park and had to write a review straight away as it was so lovely! The Owners & Wardens - Friendly and helpful. The warden did his rounds a couple of the times in the evening which was nice to see but he wasn't obtrusive in anyway, in fact it made us feel safe and secure. Park Facilities - The shower block, toilets and washing up block were spotless every time we went there. There was plenty of soap and toilet rolls in the loos and the washing up station had lovely hot water. The showers were hot and again very clean and they were free. In the Ladies shower and toilet block there was also a small changing area for babies and a hairdryer which again was free to use. The childrens play area was lovely, not much of it but all stable and secure and the kids loved it. The shop was fantastic! They sold camping gear, ice creams, food and drink, milk, toys and games and fresh bread and croissants delivered every morning. You could even order a newspaper for each morning too. The prices were slightly more than a normal supermarket but certainly not expensive, in fact we got a couple of real bargains in there! The Pitches & Site - We were in a 4 birth tent and our pitch was spacious and level on short lush green grass. In our pitch we managed to get our tent, our car, a camping kitchen, a picnic table, 2 relaxing chairs AND still had room for the kids to run around! The pitches are clearly marked and you get a map of where you are when you arrive. Because the park is so near the beach you go to sleep with the gentle sound of waves lapping against the beach. Then wake up to the sound of waves and stunning bird call. There is no noise allowed after 11pm which was lovely as we all could get some sleep and the gate is locked at 11pm too so it is good that you feel secure, especially if you have small kids like us. Location - Perfect! About a 30 second walk to the beach, 1 minute drive to the local 24 hour Asda should you need shopping (they also have a petrol station, post office, cafe, clothes section and pharmacy in the Asda too), 5 minute drive to Eastbourne, 20 minute drive to Hastings and 5 minute drive to Pevensey Castle. Prices - We found this site excellent value for money. At £32 for two nights for 4 of us. This is good value because the site is so well maintained and so clean. Bay View Park is perfect little get away campsite, we can't wait to go back again!

We stayed here mid week during the June half term for 3 nights in a tent. It is 2 mins from a beach (stones) and the first night I thought the noise was traffic - then in the morning realised it was the sea which was nice! It's a small site with a small playground which kept our 6 and 4 year olds happy. Perfectly fine wash block. Friendly owner. Well stocked shop. Small enough to keep an eye on the kids. Grass wan't that nicely kept for people in tents. Ground had tiny slope. Was beginning to get busy towards the weekend and that blocked our view to the playground. But a fair amount to do in the area. Nice pub with outdoor play area and week day carvery (not to be scoffed at when you've got hungry kids who cant sit still for long) at The Star Inn at Normans Bay, a short drive away. It's near Eastbourne (Sovereign swimming pool nice) and Hastings. Disappointed by local attraction 'Yesterday World' as the outdoor garden was closed for refurbishment - so check before you go.
