Even though this site is just 10 miles away we felt like we were on a short break much further away.
It is within easy walking distance of both Pevensey and Eastbourne's marina.
Lovely welcome and friendly staff compliment the site.

Have stayed here many times and have booked to return again in 3 weeks.
Site is well presented with clean amenities although the toilets and showers were out of bounds due to Covid 19. Staff are very polite and helpful.
The beach is a five minute walk and Sovereign Harbour with its shops and eateries and Pevensey village are a 30 minute walk in opposite directions.
Takeaways are nearby and also deliver. Site has a small playground for the young ones.
This site has everything we need for a bit of rest and relaxation.

High price with not much on offer. We'd read some glowing reviews but to us there was nothing special about this site other than it is really close to the beach.
We visited other sites when lockdown ended and they all managed to put the extra effort in to provide and clean their toilets & showers. The ASDA down the road managed to provide regularly cleaned toilets as did every other place we went to while we were in Pevensey.
The council in Eastbourne did, as did the pubs, and the village public loo opposite Pevensey castle was the cleanest and best kept we've ever come across - so why not this site? I don't understand why people say "Understandably the facilities were closed"
The golf clubhouse next door provided toilets yet the site couldn't?. It seems they just didn't want to go to the effort of cleaning/sanitising the toilets/showers more often which in our book is simply not good service.
It was difficult to get availability so we gave this place a try and as we had to pay in advance we stayed for the pre-booked three days. Pevensey itself is a great place to visit.
Obviously we can't review the facilities as there weren't any other than water taps, a drive over grey waste drain plus the expected toilet waste dump.
The site wardens were friendly enough and booking in was relatively pain free but £32 a night for parking a two berth motorhome on a bit of grass without electricity or any toilet/shower facilities is not what we consider good value.
Can't comment on child friendliness as we are an older couple and there were no children around the area we were parked, however, the site advertises a play area. Whether it was in use or not due to covid we don't know.

We’ve just returned from 3 nights at Bay View. We had 2 tents (2 couples). It’s in a wonderful position. Great little shop and lovely staff that work there.
If we go again we’d ask for pitches closest to the entrance as we were at the back under the trees with nesting pigeons. Not the fault of the site at all - just our personal preference.
Toilet and showers were functional but could do with updating, and de-bugging on a daily basis.
However it didn’t bother us enough to cause any problems.

We are so happy with the amazingly kind staff of Bay View Park.
After the most horrible arrival in south east England, hottest day, stormy weather, ferry delay they allowed us (soaking wet from all the rain and with a broken tent) to stay and recover in the bungalow.
The friendliest reception ever! Thank you so much!

You get what you pay for with this site. It is not the cheapest but the location is fantastic. Right on the beach.
You can walk all the way to Sovereign harbour without using the road; beach all the way and it is not very far, 15mins walk. Having said that, the site is not bad either, clean and efficent with polite staff.
Also has a 9 hole golf course adjoining which is owned by the site so anyone camping here can use the bar and cafe at the golf club. Probably the site that we stay at the most.

Lovely site down the end of a very quiet dead end road. No road noise and very little traffic. This is our second visit and is fast becoming one of our favourite sites to visit. Only a few yards from a vast pebble beach, ideal for nice long dog walks.
All the staff are very welcoming and helpful, grounds kept lovely, small shop with basic items available. Site now has security barrier to enter. Next door is a golf course with a small bar which does very reasonable breakfasts. Lovely to sit outside with a drink.
Toilets and showers kept clean and tidy. Usual push button control and it takes four pushes to get hot water.
A twenty minute walk along a flat walkway brings you to the restaurants and pubs around the harbour. Ideal for those hot summer evenings.
Can’t wait to return.

Had a very pleasant stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful, the site well kept. Clean toilet block, level site, hardstanding pitch used.
Breakfast at the golf course was good.
A good beach for walking, many dog walkers, but they seemed to be pretty good at clearing up after the dogs.
I would visit again.

This is a great site for visiting Eastbourne and surrounding area and is particularly good for the beach which is just yards away. The wardens were very helpful and friendly and the shop was handy for supplies. The shower block was hot with the heating turned up high so not at all cold even when the temperature dropped overnight. It suites us fine for a short break and would be good for families in summer. Will come again and go further afield as the Seven Sisters Country Park is close and well worth a visit.
