 Despite recent challenges die to the virus epidemic Wendy and the team made every effort to make an enjoyable stay.

Pleasant surroundings,
Only negative, some pitches are tiny,
But good pub food, decent dog walks around
Overall ok,
Elson could be modernised, a little outdated and smelly,
But scenic views are lovely

Had a great break at Linton Lock Marina, despite poor fishing conditions due in part to the high waterlevel from a week of rain, but probably more so over fishing due to 3 months of lockdown!
As usual Wendy at the lockhouse and her team went over and beyond catering for my low carb lifestyle with amendments to the menu, thank you so much, we can't wait to return!
It's a great site to just chill, fish or walk, handy for York and surrounding area also accessible for Leeds (especially when you need to go into work!)
Grandkids have loved going here, but on our own this time, using our own facilities due to lockdown restrictions preventing use of site facilities but in past visits everything has been fine

Had a lovely stay on the riverside, first weekend opening after lockdown. Wendy was really friendly and welcoming.
We didn't eat at the Lockhouse this time but heard good reports.
We will be back.
Lovely walk along river to Newton on Ouse.

Had a wonderful stay overlooking the lock. Watching the boats going by.
Food was lovely, Wendy really looks after you.
Will be back to see what it’s like later in the year.

Loved the no fuss check in at the pub, spacious pitches and good shower and toilet block.
Food at the pub is good home cooking, generous portions and reasonably priced.
Wendy and her team provide a great service.

Nice riverside pitch, food in lock house pub exultant, best to reserve a table.
Only down side ladies toilets/showers in need of serious referb Wendy in the pub very friendly and also runs the reception from behind the bar.
£20 a night for caravan with awning a fair price these days

Just spent B/hol weekend at linton Lock marina and again can't fault it.
Site is in a beautiful location with easy access to York and surrounding area.
The site is so friendly whether it is the guy's working on site the locals or other site users everyone has a friendly word.
The food served in the Lock House is spot on, freshly cooked with large portions at reasonable prices.
Can't wait for our next visit.

We had a fabulous pitch overlooking the Lock and boats moored. Beautiful location. We only came for bank holiday and then booked to stay the week, we loved it that much we have got a seasonal pitch. Will take back to its private pitch cctv covered at the end of the season. I have only been home 3 days in two weeks. I am so comfy here and safe as Wendy from the pub on site is a gem and her staff, so helpful, so relaxing and great fun in the pub. Keep up the good work guys xx
