Where do I start, what a wonderful site, welcomed when we arrived, shown our pitch, nice large very clean and tidy campsite,
We got set up and went exploring the site, on site met Wendy the boss who a great woman, told us where everything was asked if we needed anything.
On site there is a pub /cafe and restaurant, we arrived on Friday so ee booked in for Fish n Chips n mushy peas, 10 out of 10 for quality and price, a must if you go but please book, the Sunday roast available great value.
Saturday quiz night very well entertained, everything was great value,
Will definitely be here again. Michael Revell from York

Lovely caravan site with nice scenery over looking the river Ouse.
Spoilt by very noisy people for 2 nights until well after midnight (think motor home pitch 15??).
Great pub on site with lovely food & friendly owners.
We will return as will be even better when it's lighter nights.

Brilliant campsite.
Basic facilities but such a perfect spot by the river.
We were able to launch our kayak about 20 m from where we were camping. V
Ery quiet and lovely walks from the campsite.
We also visited York which was very easy. We will be back!

This was the 2nd time we had stayed here.
We took our grandson this time, who enjoyed helping open the lock and the fish and chips in the pub.
The pitch/campsite is good.
Facilities clean and adequate. Pub owners and staff were very friendly and the home cooked food delicious and not overpriced.
Visited Eden Camp. Had a lovely stay.

Lovely warm welcome from Carl who just told us where to pitch and pay later. Had a fantastic meal in the pub that evening with friends.
We had steak and ale pie and they had a huge fish and chips, all traditional home cooked and spoilt for choice.
Drinks were very reasonably priced too. Wendy was very attentive checking everything was OK.
We had a riverview pitch, the site was very quiet despite being near the pub too.
Toilets and showers although a bit dated were clean enough, a mop was provided for the showers but I don't think the previous user had bothered to use it but that's not the fault of the staff.
There were lovely river walks in both directions, one way to a couple of pubs in the next village about 20-30 min walk and great for dogs.
We had glorious weather and thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back next year thanks Sue & Steve

Going again in a few weeks
No restrictions on site
We have a german caravan with door on wrong side they gave us a pitch could put caravan long ways, if pitch is no good they help you pick another one, if you are going back you can prebook the same pitch.
The pitches are flat which is great as I'm disabled

Excellent stay, lovely pitch next to the river.
Facilities were good, the on site pub did beautiful food at a reasonable price.
We ended up staying an extra night as it was too nice to leave.
