 Loved our stay in this little site, right on the banks on the river Ouse.
Wendy the site owner was very welcoming on arrival.
Was lovely to see the boat coming through the lock.
Very quiet and ideal for a chill out break.

Spent another couple of nights at Linton Lock and enjoyed seeing Wendy again, always a friendly welcome.
Lovely site overlooking the river, watching the boats go by and through the lock.

Great location and setting right on the river. Friendly welcome. Toilets and showers a bit basic.
Wonderful walks in both directions on paths following the river.

Great little find this site. Wendy and the staff where very helpful and friendly. Great food and a decent pint to boot.
Toilets were basic but clean. Very picturesque spot.

Really enjoyed our stay at Linton lock it was the first time we have been there but most definitely won’t be our last.
The guys who run it are really help full, Wendy couldn’t fit us in for lunch but made sure we had some thing to take away with us she was really good. Thanks Wendy.

Peaceful site in a scenic riverside location, nice easy going owners.
The facilities are adequate but if your into glamping then its not for you. The rough and ready facilities suited us.

Unfortunately we had to cancel on the day but they were very helpful, and when we visited the next day the situation beside the river is stunning. Although we did not actually stay I would fully recommend.

Gorgeous location that speaks for itself. Very relaxed and friendly environment.

We only stayed 1 night and the weather was rubbish but this is a lovely site at the side of the river.
Wendy (owner) was lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. Everything was very strict in terms of Covid requirements, well done!

A fantastic time had here! The weather although rainy did not dampen our stay here! The owners are fantastic and run a very professional site.
If your looking for a relaxing place to simply unwind and enjoy walking along the canal this is your place! We used an electric hook up pitch which has plenty of space between pitches and although it is a little walk to the showers/WC it isn’t really an issue!
Went for food at the Dawnay Arms which is roughly a 20 minute walk or 2 minute drive away and would recommend this to anybody (A treat enjoyed by my mother for her 55th!)
The only thing I would say is this might not be for younger children as the site is a little out of the way from attractions and limited on things for them to do, this however for us was a huge bonus almost being adult only!
Toilets and showers very clean especially during the COVID time a lot of attention had been used to keep these clean, make sure you bring plenty of 50ps for the shower!
Overall 10/10 would recommend and would return
