Loved location. River and canal too.
Wendy is the star of the pub.
If you like rustic and quirky, this is it.
Toilets sited a bit away from touring field and needs a bit of tlc.
Otherwise all good. 👍

What a fabulous friendly place this is. Wendy is the most helpful accommodating host around, along with her wonderful staff who are so pleasant.
The site is what we expected quiet and peaceful, lovely watching the boats going through the lock.
The restaurant is fabulous, meals will not disappoint anyone, they are huge and absolutely scrumptious.
Overall a wonderful homely, welcoming clean site.

Gorgeous little site. The views are lovely the pitches are big and it’s just so chilled.
The pub on site does lovely homemade food and has good offers. Wendy the owner is lovely too and will help you any way she can if needed.
We loved our stay and will be back. ( so stock up on the Guinness ) there isn’t really a local shop nearby so make sure you take everything you need

Well, what a hidden gem. Spoke to Wendy the week before to book with no hassle at all.
Arrived Friday late afternoon, told where pitch was, got set up and then into the pub for the best Steak & Ale Pie ever! What a great friendly bunch of people.
Chilled by the river and lock Saturday then back to the pub in the afternoon, performed a bit of magic and then watched the football and had pizza (The pizza's have to be seen and eaten to be believed - A MAY ZING!) Sunday Lunch is also a must!
Facilities could do with a bit of TLC but generally clean and fit for purpose. 50p to use the timed shower which given the higher end price point of £30 per night I would have expected to be included.
Wendy & Team, it was a blast and can't wait to come back soon.

A perfect spot for an overnighter.
Brilliant views of the Ouse and close to the toilets and showers.
Sadly we were too late to have a drink at the pub.
Friendly and helpful people.
Would definitely recommend it.

Loved the view of the river from our pitch which are all grass pitches which can be problematic in wet weather with front wheel drive motorhome unless you have good waffle boards.
Food in pub was excellent, toilets and showers were fine. Wendy was a great hostess very friendly.
My only complaint would be the approach into touring site which had two large puddles of water at the gate which was very muddy and made it difficult to get to site on foot especially with a dog.
Would I go again? "yes"

We have had an amazing day at this beautiful site, didn't use the pub this time but have eaten there in the past and it was lovely,
Toilet block nice and clean but is a short distance from the camping field, as a group we were put in the naughty corner underneath a big 🌳 which gave us the option to sir in the sun or shade which was perfect for our group.
They also had pitches right on the river with gorgeous views.
Lovely site, lovely owners and would highly recommend it.

Very friendly site and lovely location.
Facilities basic but clean.
The weir is noisy but that actually helped reduce the noise from other people on site.
Pizza from the pub was HUGE and very nice, and sitting out with a beer on a sunny afternoon was perfect.

Sadly of the weather forecast we cancelled our booking.
We have been at Linton Lock on these dates for the last 6 years and really enjoy going there.
Will definitely go there soon to catch up with Wendy.
