 Lovely location, brilliant pub food,
Bathrooms nice and clean and lady who owns/runs site really friendly and helpful.
I picked a bad weather day but still enjoying my visit.

We stayed in the tent field. Plenty of room, cheap rates.
Staff friendly.
Nice location and good pub.
Bit of a walk to loos from tent field to loos and showers

Linton Lock is amazing, I have been looking for a campsite which has access to fishing and this place is perfect.
On the first day I was warmly welcomed by wendy who instantly made me feel like I was part of the family. Everyone else was just as welcoming and the Sunday dinner was absolutely delicious.
The campsite is well looked after and the facilities were good too.
Fishing on the ouse was great too, I only caught 1 fish but I thoroughly enjoyed every minute.
I will 100% be returning and bringing my son along this time too.
Thank you to everyone and I shall see you all again soon.

Nicely placed for Beningbrough Hall and York. NB the nearest Park and Ride has motorhome parking.
Friendly welcome and a small, clean site next to the river.
A little noise from the weir but nothing that kept us awake.
Good facilities - 50p for showers.

Great little site with Riverside spots when available,
EHU included in the price, showers and facilities clean.
Excellent little pub on the lock serving good food with very friendly and helpful hosts.

Had the best time very relaxing.
Owner Wendy is awesome the best host ever.
Will be going back very soon a very enjoyable weekend was had by all.
Toilets and showers were very clean
The site itself is very picturesque and the pub food homecooked by Wendy was lovely

Lovely idiotic setting.
The kids loved the cornfields and exploring. We paddle boarded on the river which was brilliant and a perfect location, felt very safe too. Wendy was very welcoming and friendly.
Site facilities, where good, only small downside was the distance from camp; toilet, pot-wash and bins.
Also the nearest shop was Brooke’s farm shop/gas station 4miles away, as Linton shop closed down.
Linton has a good playground for the kids to, which they enjoyed

What a fab place. Side of the river ouse with a lock gate for boats and a little pub doing fantastic food and beer.
Would highly recommend.

We have visited a few times over the last 12 months and love it.
This time we brought my in-laws and they have already booked to visit again.
The site has beautiful scenery and is peaceful.
The host is friendly and welcoming.
Other guest are polite and friendly.
The perfect getaway.
