Lovely site, clean toilets and showers.
The bar was open on the evening so went in for a couple of drinks. Staff were lovely also.
This time of year we were told hard standing only, which isn’t a problem at all but just for others to be aware.

As other reviews, problem with electric being on splitters despite reserving. Seems to be some permanent caravans using electric.
No information on arrival. Didn’t even take our name just the money. No warning that they use camp area as a car park and staff direct cars to park all round Motorhome’s, could hardly open garage door and definitely couldn’t get vehicle out.
Ok for an over night stop if leaving early and don’t need electric otherwise would avoid.

Great site. Easy access to coast and places of interest. Alnwick is a lovely town and the gardens are a MUST to visit. Brilliant water features.
We found the staff very welcoming and helpful and the fact that they sold Theakstons beer in the clubhouse was a definite plus. Facilities are open 24/7 except during match days as they are used by the Rugby teams.
The Rugby pitches are well used and it was interesting watching them train during the evenings. There is cricket ground behind the hedge and a game was being played during our stay.
M&S, Sainsburys, etc. Are within easy walking distance and there is an excellent Fish and Chip shop just up the hill. (Highly recommended).
Would recommend this site to anyone. Great value for money.

Really easy to book. Just leave a message if no one on site.
Campers only showers and toilets. Spick and span. We used the EHU. The names and dates of the booked parties are written on the hook ups, so if it's free. You just take it. The car park was very quiet when we stayed and overlooks the pitches.
There is a short walk into Anwick. If you get a chance. Go to the fish and chip shop just along from the main square. Cheap as chips! Huge portions. Delicious.

Very clean showers and toilets.
Easy walking access to town. Easy to find the allocated pitch.
Late shop half a mile away. Quiet even though it is a rugby club.

If you like rugby it great to watch whether it be a match or training.
Pitches are a good size very close to the actual games pitch ours was actually across the corner of one.
Showers were spotless.
