Site is ok, ‘pitches’ are just parking around the practice pitches, we weren’t entirely sure where to go as no guidance but just found somewhere.
Showers were ok but other campers had locked the main door despite there being 2 people and 4 showers which was an inconvenience.
Toilets and showers remain open all the time, clubhouse had loud music on but not too late.
Location is ok, a bit of a walk into town but not unmanageable for us.
For a rugby club I find it expensive but was cheaper than others around.

Really good site for visiting Alnwick - just a short easy 15 minute walk to town/castle. Little co-op on the route and retail park 5 minutes behind site.
We had a grass pitch with EHU, pretty level and nice and quiet with hedging/ trees behind. View looks over the pitch. Very quiet site.
Facilities are team changing rooms- very well kept and clean. Not luxurious (this is a rugby club), but more than adequate with plenty of hot water. Not busy when we were there.
Communication with the club to book was excellent, very friendly and efficient and this was maintained during our stay and when using the bar.
Couldn’t fault anything here, great place to stay.

Liked: Proximity to Alnwick.
Their communication
Disliked: Pitches too close together (I felt it was a fire risk). No indication of pitch boundaries. The whiteboards tell you nothing as the writing had been washed away in the rain.
Poor pot washing facilities. Sunshade did not offer offer protection from rain or the dripping guttering.
Cancelled second night due to this

Great place to use as a base for the area.
Only a mile from the centre of Alnwick so an easy walk and next door to an expanding retail park with food and outdoor shops etc.
Also very easy access onto the A1.
Surprisingly, considering the above, this is a very quiet site.
The number of electric pitches is limited but there is loads of room on hardstanding for those with solar panels.
There is also loads of room for tents on the raised part of the field.
The facilities are immaculately clean and well maintained.
One small note of caution, the shower areas are locker room style which is fine as long as you aren't shy!
All the staff I met were very friendly and helpful. Definitely one we'll be using again.

This is our second stay here and it is a perfect base to explore Alnwick and beyond.
Pitches run around the edge of the site overlooking the pitches.
Email received two days prior to arrival with instructions and payment on arrival.
Clean showers and toilet facilities with plenty of hot water.
A great no frills site - oh and a bar!

A really great place to stay en route North or South.
Michelle who runs the bookings tries to find you extra slots if you wish to stay longer, like I did, she's very helpful and a credit to ARFC.
The shower/toilet facilities are kept spotless.
A quiet location and only 15mins walk to the centre of Alnwick, with a good variety of shops and loads of places of interest to see, to numerous to list.
Highly recommended place to stay and a score of 10 from me.
Nij Lee.
