Fabulous place. We went for EHU and paid £25 for one night.
Showers and toilets were lovely and hot, clean and spacious. Easy to walk into town and got bus back.
Visited the club bar and very cheap beer and friendly service.
Would visit again and recommend

Many thanks Alnwick RFC. Enjoyed our stay with you, simple facilities, well kept, good value for the money.
An extra thank you to the team that make it all possible, Admin, cleaners, various club members, all helpful and kind.
Best regards, Kate and David Percival
PS. See you in September

Fantastic site plenty of space,
20 minute walk into Alnwick and being able to use the showers in the club house is a great bonus.
We will definitely be visiting again.

We were looking for a campsite to stay at whilst on our way back from scotland so we used the UKCampsite website to check out sites and decided to try and visit Alnwick and sent enquiry to Alnwick rubby Club via the UKCampsite website to ask if they had vacancies. I received a really quick reply which was great as we could then relax knowing we were booked in somewhere.
The friendliness of the reply and the ease of booking in and paying was great and the warm welcome was lovely.
The site is at Alnwick Rugby Club and there is a mixture of Hardstanding with electric or grass pitches without. The hardstanding pitches are alongside a hedge which borders a cricket pitch.
There are toilets and showers available for use.
The Rugby Club is also used for Rallies so it can be very busy at times. Whilst we were there it wasn't.
There is Clubhouse on site. It is a 15-20 minute walk to Alwick, a visit to Barter Books is a must of you like books and if not your should pop in to see the train running around on top of the bookshelves.
Ice cream parlour next door.
Copperfields in Alnwick is also worth a visit they do great Breakfasts and home made lunches. The lasagne was fabulous. Down the road from the site within easy walking is a Sainsburys and a Marks and Spencer Foodhall as well as a Pets at Home and Argos.
If you don't want to take your outfit off site you can catch a bus in Alnwick which goes up the coast to Berwick on Tweed which is a lovely long ride or the express which is obviously quicker.

This site was recommended by a friend. Hence we didn’t look at reviews. We were very disappointed.
The pitches are so close I could touch the van next to us. We couldn’t have our wind out awning out for lack of space
Although brilliantly clean, absolutely no privacy in showers. Just a big open changing room with four showers (no hook for towel etc)
For a tariff of £25 we expected space.
The location is ideal - close enough to walk into the lovely town with a bus stop outside the site, to go further. Big stores within easy walking distance.

Lots of space, quiet, good facilities, extremely helpful & pleasant staff with a warm welcome.
Very clean & tidy. Very hot showers.
Easy access to both pitches and water/disposal. Level pitches (no pun intended).
Short walk into Alnwick.
Very close to several large supermarkets, a lovely foodhall and petrol stations.
