We booked this site based on reading good reviews but found it quite poor. The electric pitches are not well maintained grass too long. The pitch distancing is not safe as for fire regulations should give at least 6 meters between vans. No clear markings between pitches
We noticed the campers across the field ( no hook up) had much more room. Here are other observations 1. No Receipts for fee paid 2. No Barrier so anyone can turn up. 3. No Information
In our case One unit rocked up at 10:30 at night parked just 6 feet away from our van and then got ramps out etc. So in effect you are paying £20 for electric.
Its a shame because this site has great potential but needs to be better managed

Simple playing field, no thrills basic services. 5 min cycle to town.
Had large groups gathering/meeting up in several Motorhomes when I was there but all were well behaved, despite no site attendant out of hours.
Prices have gone up from £10 to £15 for pitch and no ehu - not expensive but not cheap considering it was basically just a playing field and no ehu.

For once a site that is chilled and no officers patrolling. But everyone respected the site. Hats of to the club.
Recycle bins could be thought about? Perhaps a friendly way of getting to the black waste dump?
Otherwise brilliant, will use again.

Booked a hard standing site for 5 Nights on arrival there was sign at pitch 2 with my name on it. The site also has several grass pitches with electric which I may ask for in a future visit as they appear to be reasonably level. Later that day Michelle came for pitch fee which was reasonable @£15 per night including electric.
There were no Rugby matches due to Covid rules however there was several practices during our stay which was a bonus watching the practices.
The club was open several nights and we and our dog were made most welcome. Dogs must be kept on lead and understandably are not allowed on grass areas.
The site is clean and tidy with electric water and waste disposal.
Very enjoyable stay as site is in a favorable position for Alnwick Town Centre. Multitude of Supermarkets nearby in easy walking distance for most.
Site is central for sight seeing the area. Toilets were kept spotless only downside due to Covid restrictions showers were not available this visit. I would not hesitate to return hopefully in near future.
Overall rating would have been 10/10 if showers had been available otherwise cannot fault the site.

Loved that our money was helping a local rugby club.
For £10 we had loos, water and dump point. EHU was available but chose not to.
Would definitely recommend a stay here 🙂

Great site for visiting Alnwick.
Easy walking distance to town and castle.
Reasonable at £15 per night but can't comment on facilities as we didn't use them.
