A very good campsite with a very large camping area with well tended flat grass (as can be expected for a sports field. There are plenty of electric hookups.
We were placed near the grandstand and were a little worried that our electric cable might not stretch to the electric point, however the lovely lady in the clubhouse said they have lots of spare extensions that can be borrowed.
The toilets and showers are in the club changing rooms, so be prepared for a lack of privacy when showering. The cubicles are too small to change in and have curtains, so changing is in the communal (single sex) room.
That said, there is plenty of free hot water and timing meant I had the showers to myself, even though there were a lot of tents, caravans and campervans on the site.
There is a single sink outdoors for dishwashing with a fabric awning over.
As others have said you can hear traffic noise, but it's not that loud.
The camping charges are very cheap. We paid £15 per night with the electric hookup.
There is a notice that asks campers to support the club by using the bar, which we were happy to do. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
We would definitely use this campsite again.
We were walking some of the Northumberland coastal path. Alnwick was very convenient for utilizing local bus services. There is a marks and spencers simply food and a Sainsburys within a few minutes walk.

Little drink at the club house ( very friendly )
We also had a walk into town. 10 to 15 mins.

I liked the area being flatter than a lot of other sites I’ve visited and the showers were very clean and hot.
Lots of space as you can go anywhere along the tree line if you don’t need a hook up and the site was relatively quiet but you can hear traffic from the A1.

Great campsite, whether one night or a week. Plenty of space, electric hookup if required.
Toilets and showers, spotless clean while we were there and never had to queue even on a busy week end, and plenty hot water.
Club bar open on some days.
Sainsburys short walk down road and easy walk into Alnwick and great for visiting surrounding area, Seahouses, Bamborough castle, Farne isles etc and great beaches, Alnport with big car park next to large beach and village pubs etc.
Stayed 7 nights with electric, £20 a night, spot on.
Will use again.

The campsite is very good in general. It's in a good location for shops and the superstores.
There are only two toilets in each ladies and gents. 4 showers in each.
This was not a problem while we where there.
All the tents, caravans and mobile homes are spread out. Plenty of space.
The owners need to address the problem of noisy campers, drinking, playing music louder than it should be played. This happened on ower last night which was lucky.
Drinking water is available.
Ower stay there has been very enjoyable.
