We had a lovely stay at Alnwick Rugby Club. Everything spotless, all staff extremely helpful. Will definitely return.
Easy walking distance to Alnwick centre. No negatives at all.
Would happily recommend.
Alnwick is a 15 minute walk. Co-op 5 minute walk away. Argos, Sainsburys and other stores 8 minute walk from site.
Rugby club bar open Fri Sat Sun evenings.
Shower block and toilets are cleaned twice a day.

Lovely site, was quite busy but had plenty of room,
Facilities were adequate and the price was very reasonable,
Only couple minutes from the A1 and only 20 minute walk into Alnwick,
Buses run not far from the site into Alnwick
So all in all a very nice site to visit.

Fantastic place, big pitch, great views, very convenient and near to the city.
Clean bathrooms and practical facilities.
The people in the reception desk and the ones behind the email were very friendly and quickly in their reply.
Great campsite.
Absolutely we recommend it

Good friendly welcome as usual.
Site facilities are always well looked after, showers are great and always clean.
Plenty going on around the site with football, golf, cycling and walking.
Leisure center close by as are shops and local transport links.
A cracking wee site and has everything you'll need.

Can’t fault it site.
Really clean, shower block well maintained and clean, , dog friendly. And a good pint (or 4).
20 mins walk into Alnwick and 15mins to the beautiful Northumberland coastline.

Excellent site with both grass and hard standing pitches.
The Staff were very helpful as to the site and with their local knowledge.
All facilities including a decent set of showers and lots of hot water.
Just a short stroll into town to Alnwick castle and Gardens, the best secondhand bookshop in the area and lots of shops and an arts centre.
I think that camping helped support the Rugby Club with its bar open on an evening selling more than reasonably priced drinks.
What’s not to like?

Arrived mid afternoon. Site is large and was asked to part at the far side of the rugby pitch. Ground was OK, although it had been raining and was worried about grounding, but it was firm. The facilities are OK, with grey waste disposal and fresh water. Not sure about an Elsan point.
There are three things that concerned me and the reason for leaving after one night.
1. Parked near a caravan who then proceed to fire up a generator. We had no choice but to move as far away as possible from them as possible.
2. The site is a 15 minute walk to the town and the castle. Having made a quick visit came back to find, someone had pitched up so close to me that I could have touched them! Amazing considering the was plenty of space on the field to park up with consideration for others.
3. Then settled down for the evening to the waft of cannabis for some time.
Mentioned this to the wardens when checking out the next day to be told " People are idiots and we find it impossible to get them to follow our 3 rules, let alone common sense". Never saw anything relating to their rules. I'd suggest they prepare something in advance to email or hand out on arrival regarding rules and facilities.

The pitch was very basic and a little bumpy, but had everything we needed.
Toilets and shower very clean, and a very nice and warm welcome!
Would definitely come again to visit Alnwick, which is only a 15 minutes walk away.

Lovely relaxed campsite. Small facilities block- 2 toilets, 4 showers- and quiet clubhouse open 5 nights a week if you fancy a drink.
Main plus point is location- easy walk into wonderful Alnwick, and small estate with Starbucks, Sainsburys and M and S.
Also couple of miles to beaches at Alnmouth.
Can’t wait to return.

Friendly people, lots of space, great location so close to Alnwick centre.
Toilets and showers clean
Great to be able to dump the black water straight from on board storage to drain.
At £20 was good value
