Really nice site my little boy loved it because of the farm animals, nice clean toilets and showers but not a lot of room to get dressed. They have dish washing facilities, washer/dryer and freezers available which was a bonus. Very friendly and helpful owners. Plenty of room to pitch our oversized tent. Very good location for surrounding towns and lots of nice walks with the dog Tesco only 5 mins away which was very handy liked this site so much got our next trip already booked

A return visit for us, this time in high season. The site has doubled in size since we were last there as the owners took over another adjacent campsite. We understand that this now allows them to offer seasonal pitches.
We were in one of the new paddocks, which meant that we had a short walk to the toilet and shower blocks. These are clearly lit and very clean. The number of showers is just a little few now at the busiest times and we occasionally had to wait.
The new paddocks are flat; some of the older tent pitches are sloping. There is a mixture of electric and non-electric pitches.
As well as the toilets and showers, there is a laundry room and a freezer.
There are animals on site including rare breed pigs (sausages are available) and lots of rabbits hopping around. There's no formal playground but the kids we saw seemed to be having fun around the site.
This is an exceptionally quiet and peaceful site for its size.
Abergele's in the middle of a beautiful area with many attractions. We were staying primarily to visit relatives but this would be a perfect base for a North Wales holiday.

Just returned from a six night stay at Manorafon.
Toilet/shower facilities were adequate considering the number of pitches and very clean.
We did notice the lack of playing area for children as most game played by both adults and children mixed were on vacant pitches. If the site was full there would be nowhere to go. We didn't have children with us this is just an observation. Locally there are a few pubs who all serve food, never ate there so can't comment.
Had a lovely meal at the Orchard House Chinese Restaurant. Excellent quality food and service. Will be visiting again.
The resorts of Rhyl and Llandudno are within 20 mins drive with Caenarfon and Portmeirion a bit further round the coast. For the adventurous, Mount Snowdon becons. We kept our walking stuff in the car and stayed at sea level as it was chucking it down.
We will definitely stay at this site again any maybe give Snowdon a go, if the rain stops next time. Can't complain about the weather though as it only rained once all week which for Wales is pretty good.

Just got back from here today. Had a great time as always. Basic toilets and showers could do with a few more toilets in the male ones so my husband says as I can imagine when the site is packed you have to wait but was fine when we were there. Everything else great very relaxing the only other complaint we have but is nothing to do with the site is the golf club next door they were cutting the grass every morning at 6am and woke us all up every morning but not the sites fault. Will definitely return next year highly recommended.

We really enjoyed this site. The location was great and near to the A55 so visiting other areas was also easy.
Although it was high season and the site was full it was not really noisy.
The farm is ideal for kids who seemed to enjoy looking around the animals. No swings for the children but most of them on the site seemed to busy themselves playing with others quite happily anyway.
The shower block was very clean and although small perhaps small for the site we never had to queue ourselves. The owners were friendly and welcoming and always seemed to busy attending to the site.
The rubbish block was rather full at times but this may have been due to some campers not squashing the rubbish and although there was bottle and can recycling not plastic or paper so this led to the bulk.
Plenty to see and do in the area. I would certainly revisit this site and recommend it to others.

We stayed here for 3 nights in our caravan and immediately loved this site. The owners are very nice and there is a lovely family atmosphere on site. Manorafon farm is home to some chickens, pigs, goats, sheep and lots of rabbits which we found to be fantastic and we visited them every day to say hello, the site is based close to everything you need really just down the road is tesco and pubs and shops also the beach so cannot complain we found loads to do!. The only complaint I have is the showers which I have to say I was very disappointed, it seemed to take ages to get the power and then when the power came they would go off so you would press it again and it would go really slow again it felt really hard work just to shower, but I still rate this site and will be visiting again and to be honest for the price it is fantastic!.

Myself, husband, 14 year old son and 76 year old gran stayed here for four nights. We wanted to extend to five, but they were fully booked - that says it all really.
The site is very quiet and the facilities are basic, but modern and clean. There are toilets/showers, dishwashing facilities, a laundry, a freezer for the guests to re-freeze ice blocks and waste water disposal.
The pitches are very large and ours was perfect - on a corner plot, flat and opposite the toilet block (ideal for our gran!). Some of the pitches are on a slope, but if this would be a problem for you, I would recommend asking for a flat pitch when booking.
The owners are very welcoming and are happy to answer any questions and give useful advice.
The small farmyard sets this campsite out from the crowd, with a sheep, pigs, goats, chickens and rabbits all happy to meet the guests.
I would highly recommend this site if you want a peaceful stay, within easy access to the North Wales towns and coastline.
I would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic site we will definitely visit again. Beautiful views from the site, the owners were very friendly and helpful. The kids loved being able to visit the animals on the farm each day and stroke them. Lots of wild rabbits also running around camp. Brilliant information room with lots of leaflets with ideas for places to visit. Clean toilet block always plenty of loo roll and a soap dispenser which you don't often get that was always full so a nice touch so you can wash your hands properly. They even had fresh flowers in the toilets too. Hot showers which were free. A freezer to put food in as well as just freezer blocks. A large pitch so plenty of space and the site was quiet even though very busy. Tesco's a 5-10 minute walk away and also a nice walk 20 mins to a pebble beach. The Bee Pub has a great beer garden with a really good play area for the kids and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Lots of places/things to do in the area. We will definitely visit again.

Stayed here for 2 weeks, this being our first stay here. Toilet & shower facilities good, we were on the north field just within the old castle perimeter wall. This was the source of the only niggle we have, there was quite a lot of traffic noise.
Owners very friendly & made us feel very welcome. Pleasant surrounding area including lovely walks close to the Gwrych castle.
Close to the supermarket & shops, good cycling in the area with a coastal cyclepath. The site is in a good location for exploring North Wales being close to the A55.

We stayed at Manorafon Farm for 4 nights in our tent with no electric hook up. We found it a very relaxed site with a good atmosphere, we liked that you could pick your own spot to pitch your tent rather than being assigned a spot. We pitched on the hill with a bit of shade, next to the golf club. The showers and toilets were of good quality and clean - there were plenty of toilets and two female showers I never had to wait for either. Although the main field is not huge it felt like we had quite a bit of privacy which can be rare in a tent! The site was quiet overnight, to be honest it was quite quiet most of the day.
Having the animals on site added a real bit of character to the site, there were rabbits just knocking about particularly on an evening. It was lovely walking past the goats and pigs! We saw plenty of butterflies, moths, and a few bats at night. My husband enjoyed the castle arch at the walking entrance!
The walk into Abergele wasn't far about 10 mins or so, and there are some nice pubs with beer gardens, Tescos is on the doorstep and useful for barbecue supplies! It was about the same distance walk down to the seafront and there's a lovely beachside cafe doing good breakfasts!
It was a very easy drive into Llandudno and Conwy as the site has easy access to the A55 so we explored quite a bit of the surrounding area. There is lots to do in North Wales and this site is a good base for exploring.
