September 2004 Spent 3 nights at Bainland for my daughters birthday and really enjoyed it. The pitches were nice and roomy, due to the time of year it was not crowded just nice. The only gripe I had was that when we asked to use the pool the receptionist asked if we were on a touring pitch, when we replied yes she then told us we had to pay for the use of the pool, so if you are staying in a static or a chalet you use the pool free of charge, but had a great time anyway and all facilities were excellent.

August 2004 We stayed for a weekend following a really heavy rainfall, which had waterlogged some of the tent pitches. We were relocated to the field for late arrivals, which was great - lots of space. Good facilities all round, very clean, lots to do. We didn't stay for evening entertainment, but it seemed ok from what we could hear. Meal in restaurant was ok - not brilliant. We will go again, as the facilities were so well maintained and clean.

August 2004 Just returned from a weekend at Bainland, lovely site in the wolds, large pitches, spotless toilets and showers etc, good bar and bistro, kids entertainment, 18 hole par 3 golf course on site, 4 tennis courts, crown green bowling, boules, croquet and small indoor swimming pool. crazy golf and putting green as well. All in all something for everyone. Small store that sells the basics and when shut can get supplies from reception. Ideal site for exploring Lincolnshire, well worth a visit.

July 2004 We have just returned from this site and found it to be very clean and well layed out.
There are lots for the children to do and many safe areas for them to play. My children met so many new friends that they cried when we had to leave.
Note: the swimming pool doesn't have a shallow end it is 1.2m deep so young children that are only learning to swim may need swimming aids.
We had a super pitch which was very nice but the 'grassed grid for the awning' unfortunately was grassless due to use so the awning was on a concrete grid which was a bit awkward for tiny feet.
The disco in the evenings was very child friendly and was loved by our children as was the play area, park and the trampoline.
A great place definately worth a visit.

May 2004 This was our first touring park. We chose to be only 1 hour from home, but this site was fantastic, the children loved the park (aged 7 and 9), the dog loved the huge woods in the Wolds, everywhere is clean. Cannot find a site to match it, oh the pool is great a little small, but u can't have everything.

april2004 My wife and I have just returned from Bailand, we shall be returning very soon as we had a very nice time. There is plenty to do, very clean facilities, a large woodland walk for dogs. We have been pleasantly suprised to find such a site so close to home. It will definately become a frequent weekend retreat for us.

August 2003 One of the best sites we've been to and definately will go again this year with freinds. Went on a super pitch on the circle, very picturesque, see my gallery.

29/31 August 2003 What a well thought out site!
Pitches very nicely laid out and although the site was fully booked you didn't feel cramped at all. Very clean overall, toilets and showers immaculate. Nice touches (everything very well signed, good planting, recycling bins).
Helpful staff (shop just closed but let kids in to get sweets, also when shop closed, basics eg milk can be bought from Reception!).
Lots of facilities; pity we didn't get around to using them all. There is a great outdoor adventure playground, a small soft indoor play area (very small) and also a little video games room. The indoor pool wasn't very big but it looked nicely kept (we didn't use this). The bar and bistro was popular (we didn't eat there) and there was some evening entertainment, which wasn't fancy but was fine.
The weather was nice but not too hot; the problem with flies mentioned previously may have been due to excessive hot weather, we certainly didn't have a problem this weekend.
Would definitely go again and try to get there for a longer stay next time around.

Aug 2003 I would highly recommend this site. We had one of the super pitches and we had plenty of room around the caravan and awning for the kids to play and this was surrounded by a high hedge. The toilet and shower block were very clean and could not be faulted. There was plenty for the kids to do including soft play, adventure play area, amusements, golf course and trampoline ( although my youngest daughter broke her arm on the trampoline! ). There was also a swimming pool, though small, this was the favourite with my kids. All in all a very good clean site with plenty to do except two things, the smell from the chicken farm and the flies ( we were eaten alive ). We will definately be going back.

Aug 2003 This site is nicely laid out, with most of the pitches having a surroundibg hedge. The toilet facilities were OK, the new block is very good. There are plenty of facilities such as a par 3 golf course and tennis courts. However the state of the greens was terrible, they need to get this sorted out. I thought the bar prices were reasonable. What really spoilt our weekend was the intermitent smell from the local chicken farm (or was it a maggot farm)and being infested with flies, it was just about impossible to have a B-B-Q. Mosquitoes were also a pest BE WARNED
