Travelling too the site was very confusing, their was not alot of sign post's leading you too the actual site me and my dad were just about to turn around when we came to the site that was the first sign we could see too it. As we were coming up the drive it was very well presented. When we went too check in the staff were very helpful friendly and efficient. When we had got to our pitch, we had started setting up our tent within 15mins a member of staff had come to check if everything was OK (and it was)! After we had settled in we went too freshen up in the shower block, it was very clean and tidy, every thing was kept up too date. After that we went too get some dinner in the bar once again all the staff were very helpful and polite, and the food was OK but not anything special! when we went too bed everything was fine and very quiet, the only noise in the morning was the birds singing and the trees hustling! This was not a very busy time of the year. In the shop which is on site was everything you could need and very cheap, their were trampolines tennis courts and a pool, which was not included in the price of the pitching, the pool was not big but it was OK for kid and adults if you just want too splash about! Excellent site, spacious level pitches, toilet / shower blocks very clean and warm ,although my wife had a cold shower only on one morning. Lots to do on-site: tennis, mini golf, tramplines, good kiddies park. My 2 year old daughter loved the indoor soft play centre plus the mini arcade room. The site has indoor pool and jucuzzi and sauna didnt find time to fit them in in our 3 night stay. Had a drive into Ingoldmells about 28 miles away. Club house was nice which serves food, it looked very nice and a good choice on the menu and the beer was spot on. The site is well lit and the dog walk in to the woods is good and we could let the dog off the lead. All in all a lovely site for couples and families and not too commercial like other sites can be. We would return to here.

Me and my 2 boys (2 and 4yrs) visited Bainland on Fri, Sat and Sun leaving mum at home. The site was fantastic, spacious and plenty to do. The fact there was a bath was great though my arm is in plaster but I managed. I will return for sure as it was a nice change from seaside resorts

Great site, Well sized pitches with all amenities on them including hook up to TV with all sky sports channels. Shower blocks spotless. Very warm. Excellent kids play area - safe and away from the road. Food in the bar area, great value for money, cooked fresh. Pool area - although OK, it is in definite need of an update looks shabby in places.May be too small at busier times of the year. Loads to do, tennis, croquet, mini golf. Would go back again.

Well we are not over sixty and although the weather was not cracking we still enjoyed ourselves, the staff were very good -even giving us our money back when one meal wasn't available and serving another of our choice FOC. Pitches a decent size, the super pitches even having their own elsan, so no lugging of cassette for miles, and a tv point like some CC sites. Shop had enough if you've forgotten any of the basics (I even forgot me beer - was that eager to get off on first run out!) Will definately return for a round of golf, or maybe croquet!

Just got back from a flying visit to the park, and I have to say we rated it highly! Lovely response on the phone when booking the same morning! Not a cheap site, includes hook up though and plenty of room for even the biggest tent, and no one asked size which makes a lovely change. Pitches hedged with shrubs, making them semi private, and they also have a large area at the back which is all grass and great for camping groups. Great toilets and showers, fantastic for bikes, and a fair amount to do when you're free for a couple of hours. All facilities, golf, tennis, swimming etc. are chargeable, but very reasonably priced. Just don't get lumbered with plot 102 right behind the loo's and the air con unit isn't the quietest! Probably not enough to keep my lot entertained for a week, but for short breaks or quieter people I think it's great. And the shop has 'normally' priced items, that's a first! If you get a chance while there, take a look at Tattershall Castle, we were very impressed. We'll go back again, in low season though,it looks like it gets very busy during the summer.

A superb site with great shower/ bath facilities and helpful, polite staff. We had problems with inconsiderate campers making noise until 3 am and the manager gave us a credit note. We have been back since and will be going again. There's a dog walking area and the pitches are well marked out with generous spaces. The children enjoyed the adventure playground and the tennis courts. There is also a small swimming pool and table tennis and pool tables. A friendly, family orientated site which is well worth a visit!

Just returned from a one week stay with my wife and two kids aged 12 & 15 years and have to say it was not good value for money. Nice play area inside and out for kids up to 8 years free of charge, swimming pool was more like a big bath and at extra cost was not worth going in, tennis at £5 per hour was also a bit steep and all other amenities were also at extra cost. Not much in the way of nightly entertainment and kids were bored after a couple of days. Toilet and shower facilities were second to none (new block only) old block very annoying constantly having to push button for water but nice and clean never the less. Site itself was very clean and tidy and well kept with ample space to pitch my vango diablo 900, there was also a good dog walk through the woods. All in all this site was a bit too quiet for our liking and not much around and about, skegness is about 40 mins away, Boston and Lincoln about 30 mins. We have definitely been on better sites for less money and will not be going back but don't let this put you off especially if you're over 60 with grand kids.

Our first trip to Bainland this weekend turned out to be great fun. We managed to grab the second from last unbooked pitch on what I take to be the overflow section near the adventure playground. We found ourselves amongst a group of Dads and children from Washingborough who were incredibly friendly, and who helped make the weekend a real success. This was our (Me and 2 sons (7 & 3)) first weekend at a leisure park as we normally head for farm sites in the peak district, but I think I'll have trouble persuading the kids to get back to nature when the facilities at Bainland were so good.
The adventure playground was a great hit as was the trampolines. Toilets and showers were immaculate and the shop came in handy on a couple of occasions. Our only gripe was the food in the restaurant which we would rate as edible but poor compared to the usual pub food we have sampled elsewhere. All in all, my sons rated it 10 out of 10, and they already want to know when we can go back.
