18th july 2003 We went camping just for the weekend with a baby & 2 dogs! the site was v clean & the toilets, showers, and baby changing facilities were excellent. There is also a v good dog walk(woods) within the campsite.
The only bad points with the site is a v small shop that stocked the basics only, the bistro (a bit over named - actually a cafe) only opened early for breakfast at the weekends. So if you're staying for the week & want to go out early then have breakfast at your van/tent!
Also, we didn't venture into the pool because it was tiny & v busy!
All this said, we all really enjoyed the weekend & would definitely visit again!

June 2003 The site was clean and tidy, although the ladies showers could do with tidying up, curtains were dirty and hanging off etc.
Its definately a family site, not much fun if you don't have children as they are everywhere. Don't get me wrong we travel with a couple who has a toddler but even in the early hours of the morning teenagers could still be heard shouting, there is a large play area that caters for older children and thats where they seem to congregate etc.
We had breakfast in the cafe which I won't comment on as the prices are high and the food very average, and service terrible.
We won't be going again as all in all we didn't enjoy our stay, but Im sure we must have just caught them on an off day!

July 2003 One of the best sites we have ever stopped on. Swimming, tennis, kids disco. Quiet site with spotless toilets. Highly recommended.

Easter 2003 Extremely well kept site, very nice indeed only not much around it. My biggest gripe was constant power cuts but otherwise a perfect site.

April 2003 Fantastic site. Loads of space between pitches, everything very clean. Good bar/restaurant, lots for kids to do and room for them to scooter/cycle safely on site. Near to a nice village called Woodhall Spa, well worth a visit. Best site I've been to yet!!

March 2003 Our first ever outing in a caravan and this site fulfilled all our expectations! The pitches were gathered into small groups with hedging and trees for privacy. The toilet block and showers were warm, clean and inviting. Having 2 dogs, the site was excellent as it has direct access into woodland with plenty of walks. The shop was well stocked, the reception staff helpfull, and various other facilities were on offer for a small charge, such as indoor pool, golf etc. The small town of Woodall Spa is a 15 minute walk away and offers quaint shops and yet more golf! All in all, value for money!

1998 to 2002 An extremely clean and peacefull site for all the family. Large pitches, some are super pitches. Set on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds with many areas being areas of oustanding natural beauty. Who said Lincolnshire was flat? The site has a lot to offer, firstly it is clean and very well looked after. Onsite you can swim, play tennis.play bowls, take a sauna or jacuzzi, trampoline or play a round of golf on the par 3 course. Up the road there is an out door pool. This is Bomber County. The Dam Busters Squadron planned their Battle from here at the Pet Wood Hotel. There is a very old cinema in Woodall Spa called the Kinema in the Woods, which still has the organ. Plenty of walking and a visit to the nearby market town of Louth or the City of Lincoln will fill in some time when you have exhausted the on-site sports.
