Our extended family managed two visits to Bainland last year (three the previous year) and enjoyed every aspect of all our visits.
As we have two large tents between us we opted for the Gravel/tent deluxe pitches which suited our needs down to the ground, the hedges were great for providing a bit of privacy and made it feel more secure for the younger members of our party.
The shower blocks were always clean and tidy even though the park was very busy and the showers always hot.
We found the whole park to be very child friendly and not too noisy after 11pm.
As for the other facilities We have never used the swimming pool as we tend to swim at the jubilee outdoor pool if the weather is permitting. The children's park is great for our young ones. The shop is not over priced and had all the must have bits we forgot to pack! Friendly shop assistant too.
The down side to this park has to be customer service. On trying to book our usual gravel/tent deluxe pitch we very told that we couldn't book these pitches for our tents (however we had always done so previously) and that only the field is available- which is okay but for £40+ per night per family the reason that we didn't mind paying the expensive rates is because these pitches suited our needs as a group booking.

Just spent a week at Bainland and the site is extremely clean and the pitches are the best we have stayed on.
There is lots to do for the kids however it all costs money. Very disappointed they charge £1.75 a child and £2 an adult to swim, so if you are a family of 4 as we were, it costs £7.50 a go. PLUS they charge £3.50 for half hours use of the jacuzzi without then being able to go into the pool. Most sites we have stayed at the pool has been FOC. I wouldn't have minded so much if it was a large pool but the pool is extremely small.
The entertainment (we went in peak season) was only on Friday, saturday and sunday night. However after being out for the day on the sunday we came back hoping to see a magician show but found by 8pm he'd been on and gone and all was quiet, no disco or anything afterwards??
Overall a lovely but pricey site.Would I go back? umm not sure due to all the extras.

Just returned from a 5 night stay at this site. Very clean and tidy. The swimming pool on site is really small and overlooked on 2 sides by the reception/bar. A much better choice is the really good air swimming pool approx 1 mile down the road at Jubilee Park. Showers/toilets generally kept clean and tidy during our stay. This site has a 'no noise at all after 11pm ' rule, unfortunately this was not effectively enforced. We were kept awake by a noisy family (singing shouting) until 1am. We complained to reception the next morning and they said they would inform the manager.

We enjoyed our stay at this site. It's quite large, with loads of games and facilities, all of which are well maintained.
Our field was well positioned, protected by trees on three sides. All pitches are a good size and the ground was decent.
No complaints about the toilets, and apparently there's a hairdryer in the ladies.
The bar isn't particularly atmospheric, but does the job. The Sunday carvery was pretty decent. The nearest pub is in the village, about a mile and a half away.
If you follow the dog walk signs there's a nearby wood. We took a left, which takes you on a pleasant circular walk that takes about an hour.
We stayed during a quiet period, although I could imagine it being quite active during the holidays. Definitely a site for the kids.

We have used site before lovely and clean. Most of staff very friendly. Don't like the hours of the shop opening times though bar not bad although hubby says prices have shot up. Could do with a few more meals on menu, not a great deal of choice. Toilets are very clean and there is plenty around park. We took 2 of our daughters so it can be costly as price only covers two people

This is a fantastic site, with adults and children in mind.
All pitches are plenty big enough for tents and touring caravans. After coming here last July in a tent , I have just booked for our touring caravan.
There is a swimming bath, large adventure play ground that kept kids happy all time we spent there, there is an indoor play centre, ball pool etc. Trampolines, crazy golf, tennis, golf course, large outdoor chess board. lovely and clean toilet / shower block, also family bathroom, club house, shop on site that is really good. Dog walk for dog owners in woods at bottom of park.
Village with supermarket, newsagents, bakery, fast food shops all closeby with footpath all the way, but quicker in car. Just down road there is a outdoor swimming pool that's really cheap,
All in all a fantastic site.
Staff were really friendly to adults and children which means a lot for people with kids.

This site has lots of facilities such as swimming, golf, bowls, tennis, games room, play area and a shop which is perfect for families with children, but not if you want it to be quiet and relaxing holiday.
The toilet block were really nice because it had separate wash cubicals so you can have a private wash instead of being out in public. The showers are also nice and clean.
It was a short walk into Wodhall Spa which is a small high street which hasn't got many shops but has got your local grocers and pub.
There is good access to Lincoln City and Skegness which are good day trips out.

This site is 30 mins max from my house but we went there recently for a weekend to test A, a new tent and B the Mr's back!
There's not much that's hasn't been said in other reviews, is a cracking site with everything. A shop on site that puts many local shops to shame. Friendly staff everywhere you venture. Play areas for kids indoors and outdoors free to play on, a tidy tent field not on top of a boulder field so pegs go in without too much drama. Good toilets and showers although perhaps a few more might be ideal.
They do a carvery on Sundays so we stuck around to sample it. Well I'm glad we did it was fantastic. There is usually some entertainment on a saturday night in the bistro / function room.
Oh a cracking bakery in the Village!

The site is set out really well. We booked with another trailer tent and were put on a great pitch together with lots of space. We were also opposite the dog walk which was good. The club house served tasty and excellent value for money food. The evening entertainment was really good.
The children enjoyed the park and swimming, although the pool is a little small, you have to book which keeps the numbers down.
Highly recommend a trip into Woodhall Spa where there is a very touching monument to the 617 squadron 'Dambusters'. Also a trip into Lincoln is a must to see the Cathederal and Castle.
The only down side was the lack on washing up facilities and showers. Be prepared to queue.
We will definitely go back again.

Was looking forward to visiting this site- and was not disappointed!
Fab place, huge pitches, plenty for kids to do, of course the great weather helped! Plenty of showers and toilets available, large bar, relaxed and friendly, good food.
Small pool and hot tub but numbers limited each session so not a problem.
Free wifi in bar area-keeps teenagers happy! Enjoyable, relaxing holiday, despite there being loads of kids it never got unbearably noisy and was always quiet at 11 pm even over the bank holiday.
Would go back without hesitation.
