Set in a beautiful spot. Toilets / wash facilities are basic to say the least but clean. Pitches by the stream are flat . This is a tranquil spot with an excellent but expensive pub not 5 min walk away. Church Stretton 5 min drive. Loads of walking all around and if the weather is good peace and quite on a lovely field.

What a lovely site very clean and tidy. Friendly owners and great for all local amenities. Great little pubs and shop 5 mins away and Church Stretton just down the road. The kids loved the river and it was nice to have a shower and sink to wash up. To the person that moaned that it had swallows in the roof of the toilets so what they have no doubt been using that barn for years. Will be going again in the next couple of weeks. Great value for money and all within 50 mins from home

A charming site which lies in a valley at the foot of the stunning Long Mynd. A bubbling brook borders one edge of the site, if available try and get a pitch alongside. As mentioned before, the toilet/shower block is rustic, but they are clean and the water is hot, and in this instance it all adds to the appeal of the site! With 2 great pubs within a 5 minute walk, the pleasant town of Church Stretton just 5 minutes away by car, and beautiful walks in the countryside literally as you step outside of your tent, this ranks as one of my favourite 'get away from it all' sites!

This is one of our favourite sites. The toilet facilities are basic but clean. The field has a steam running along one side. It is in a beautiful area with lots of wonderful walking. Co-op in Church Stretton is not too far away. The local pub is great, good food, atmosphere etc. There are 2 large trampolines in the garden which kids love. If you want a quiet, basic, few days in a lovely spot this is the place for you. If you can go mid week, even better.

This site is basic, I know it was towards the end of the season but we felt it needed some TLC. The toilets and one ladies shower were filthy, the entrance was muddy and they certainly need a make over (the shower was barely warm and had swallows in the roof). Do not go here if you want a quiet night, the sheep made a noise all night as did the Buzzards. The site has no view as it is at the bottom of a valley but has some nice walks nearby. There is a pub 2 minutes walk away, but situated on a main road.

This campsite is set at the foot of the Long Mynd with spectacular scenery. There is a small stream flowing at the edge of the campsite which proved popular with the children. There are no shops within walking distance but there are a couple of pubs within a 10 minute walk away from the site. The facilities were basic but clean, all you require for a few days away. We would definitely return to this campsite and would like to thank Pam, the owner, for her hospitality.

Great little site, basic but clean facilities, nestled at bottom of a little valley. Great old pub 2 mins walk away, good beer, friendly landlord/lady, good little ramble up the little valley at end of site. Very quiet site. Well sited to visit Church Stretton.

Have just spent three fabulous days at Small Batch. Excellent and picturesque site with a small stream on one side and a steep grassy bank on the other, perfect for little children. Furthermore, the site is the beginning of the footpath up to the Long Mynd and is an excellent base for exploring this area.
The site was quite busy on the first night but never felt crowded or noisy. Facilities are indeed still quite basic and a little chilly in the morning but it all worked and was generally kept clean and well stocked ( at £10 per night I'm not complaining). The owner was also very welcoming and helpful.
One note for tent owners - ask for a pitch on the stream side as these are completely level, unlike the other side of the field. Luckily we asked for a level pitch when we booked.
I would definitely recommend this site as a base for exploring Shropshire and as a good site for first time campers.

Very good site, friendly owner. Rustic but clean showers/toilets. A lot of young families doing things that young families do but I don’t have a problem with that. Beautiful countryside go and find the Cat House (named by the locals last lady owner was a cat lover) has been empty for about 50 years and is owned by local land owner must be worth a fortune but not for sale the home of dreams.
Local pub is the Ragleig (don’t think that is the correct spelling but you will find it) good ale and very friendly owners, made us feel at home, dogs welcome in the bar also good food only a three minute walk from the site. We are only one and quarter hours away in Staffordshire but worth a longer journey we have rebooked for a weekend in two weeks.

A lovely campsite in a lovely location, we were able to put our van next to the stream which was a bonus. The showers and loo's were almost outside and had swallows nesting in the ceiling and were very cold first thing in the morning :) We went mid-week so almost had the place to ourselves but it gets choc a bloc at the weekend. I would definitely recommend Small Batch and will be returning!
