What a lovely site and beatiful area! We went mid-week and almost had the place to ourselves, but Friday night it got very crowded with weekend campers, but we would definitely return.

Very pleasant setting, and the stream is especially good if you have very young children. The basic facilities are very clean, and the owner was helpful when I lost my car keys.
Nearby Ludlow has wonderful castle and some nice pubs.

Have been visiting this area for years. We have grandparents who have camped on this site!
Beautiful location. Facilities always clean if very basic. Owner very friendly and helpful. Milk man comes around in the morning. Clean stream runs next to the field ( we put our cool box in the water in the shade). Kids loved playing in the stream.
Great pub close by with tampolines in the garden - mostly occupied by adults in the evening!
We will return again to this site. A great get away.

Superb setting, if a little rainy when we went. Friendly welcome from site owner, facilities ok. Best pub is the nearest, marvellous beer and friendly owners. Only shop ok for basics, but sells excellent local bacon if you ask and excellent customer service. We will be returning.

An excellent campsite in a perfect location, namely a very pretty valley on the side of the Long Mynd. Facilities may be "quaint" but are kept very clean. The price is nice and cheap too. Small Batch is not only good for walking and sightseeing but also near two pubs with excellent beer! Furthermore the owner is very friendly and made us feel most welcome. A+ for this site!

Stayed here 12 years ago and checked it out again recently. Beautiful setting at the base of the Long Mynd. Facilities are best described as quaint ie rather elderly and eccentric. Is within seconds of a pub with a garden and play area. Whilst the site's facilities are basic, the setting compensates in my opinion.
