The Dandy Owners Club.
The first rally of the season and what a wet one! Having said that. The site is a little gem. The facilities basic but adequate and spotless. Oscar the site owner was most helpful in making our Rally enjoyable despite the very difficult weather and surface conditions.
The two local pubs were tried and served excellent food. Lots to do in the area. Site approached by a small ford. Don't be put off its no problem!

This is a lovely small site set in beautiful scenery with great local walks and bike rides.
The owners are very accommodating and friendly, and the closest pub - the Ragleth - is just a couple of minutes walk away and provides good food and a friendly welcome.
The facilities are basic but clean and provide everything you would need.
We will definitely be visiting again.

Absolutely beautiful little site.
Owners very friendly, decent sized pitches, fantastic views, good clean toilets and showers, freezer for blocks and phone charging points, and direct access to Ashes Hollow.
Can't find anything to criticise! All this for a very good price too!

This is a lovely little campsite in a quiet, secluded location, ideal for exploring the Long Mynd and Shropshire.
Facilities were basic but clean and owners were friendly. Several people were there at the same time but noise was not a problem.
Highly recommended.

An amazing little tranquil site with beautiful views.
The owners are very helpful and friendly. Many walks from the site including the Long Mynd.
The facilities are clean and the fire showers are hot and powerful.
This is the second time we have visited this site and would definitely go again.

This site is in a stunning location with views of the Long Mynd and lots of public footpaths from the door.
But the downside is that you have to drive through a ford to get to it which drops away from the road and is challenging if your vehicle is on the low side. We scraped the ground on both the way in and out and broke off one of our caravan feet on the way out.
The facilities are very old fashioned but the showers are free and there is plenty of hot water. There are only two showers each, and two loos but the site is small. The two washing up sinks are in the open air which is perhaps a little too old fashioned nowadays!
There are two pubs within walking distance, both of which welcome dogs. The beer at the Green Dragon is the better of the two but this is a very food orientated pub and, if you are not eating, there is very little room to sit or even stand with a pint. You need to book to get a table to eat at busy times.
We would definitely return to this site but with our tent and in the car so we didn't have to negotiate the ford with a caravan again!

Just come back from a two night stay at this lovely site. This is a well maintained site, accessed by a small ford. It has an 'easy' footpath running through the site leading to the adjacent valley.
I was greeted by the one of the owners Pam, and then shown to my pitch next to the brook.
The toilet and shower block was functional and perfectly clean, as was the outside washing up facilities.
Whilst I Was there, the site was mainly occupied by couples, and D of E children, who were polite and well behaved.
I happened to have lunch at the Green Dragon pub(three minutes walk from the site) one time, the food was good with a decent selection of beers too.
The surrounding area is beautiful, with walks of varying degrees.

What a great site! We were really impressed with the stunning location and there are 2 lovely pubs within walking distance which are both dog friendly. There is a stream running through the campsite and despite the rain, children still played in it, building dams and catching fish, which was lovely to see rather than sat in the caravan on their tablets/phones.
Carding Mill Valley/Long Mynd is a must for a stunning walk. Church Stretton has a few shops for essentials and is quite picturesque.
The toilets/showers are basic and a bit cold if the weather's not so good, but they are clean. The entrance is a bit tight if you're towing a caravan and there are a couple of bridges with weight limits, so take note of this when getting there. There is no TV signal and phone signal is very intermittent, but we didn't miss either of these. The site is value for money.
We will definitely be returning to this site and would recommend it if you're looking for a quiet site with stunning views and lots to do in the area.

The selling point for this site is all about the location. We loved waking up to the beautiful hills and lovely stream that run alongside the site along with the many sheep in the next field. There's also lots to see in the area, the Long Mynd is a must visit, there are also some great walks directly from the site.
Access to the site is good, though do follow the directions on their website to avoid the narrow bridges that have a weight limit.
The pitches I would say are a bit tight, though there is plenty of room in front of the pitch to park the car. One word of warning, we stayed at this site during a very wet week in April and I must say the site doesn't really cope well with long spells of rain, many people without 4 x 4's needed the owner to pull them out when they left.
Facilities are pretty basic, there are two showers and three toilets each for male and female and they are in need of updating, that said they were always clean. Heating in the washrooms and toilets would be nice, especially in the showers.
We paid £22. 00 per night for caravan with EHU, porch awning, two adults, 1 child and a dog, which considering the basic facilities is a bit expensive.

Great place as a central location to the long mynd and all it's walks. Although the road to the site is through a ford, it is no problem and the supposed tight gate entry is nothing more than a normal right turn. The toilet block is in character with the farm location but both male and female have a modern shower room with toilet and sink. The walk from camp over the stile at the rear and up following the river is fun for everyone. All in all a great little site with two very good pubs nearby which allow dogs. The owner was a good bloke as well.
