We have stayed here twice now and can't recommend this site enough. Bev and Dave do an excellent job and nothing is to much trouble for them. The facilities are spotless and the cleanest I have seen. They also cater well for the children, there is a play area with a trampoline and animal corner with rabbits which at certain times of the day you can help Bev to feed them. Bev also took my kids aside the first time we visited and they made flower arrangements for the facilities with cards on the flowers to say who had arranged them which I thought was a lovely touch.
There is no shop on site but Newcastle Emlynn is only a short drive away with everything you need. Dave hires fishing equipment for £2 a day and will also give tuition free of charge to catch Orfe, Perch, Roach and Tench. There is also a bar that Bev and Dave run which is in converted stables which we never visited but looked and sounded inviting, and there is also a kids play room next door with table football and other games. We will be certainly going back here again.

Visited this site for the first time over the bank holiday. Setting the tent up in a hailstorm didn't "dampen" our spirit and we were soon able to take in the beautiful surroundings, and the weather did improve. . Bev and Dave made you feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them. They made sure the younger children were kept entertained with games and treasure hunts, and for those who wanted to explore the surrounding area, there were information leaflets provided. Shower block and toilets were spotless and the hairdryer socket was a must with two teenage girls in tow. The bar was well stocked (added bonus, barrel of real ale), excellently priced, and very cosy, with a games room next door for the kids. Everyone on the site was very friendly and noise was not a problem. Newcastle Emlyn was a quaint town with plenty of shops and pubs. Visited Cenarth Falls which has a wonderful, peaceful river walk and the coracle centre which is well worth a visit. Beaches at New Quay and Llangrannog are within easy driving distances and if the weather lets you down, there is a local leisure centre about 1 mile from the site with a good size pool. We had a wonderful time and we will be visiting again.

Stayed at dolbryn for bank holiday weekend. I must say from the minute we drove down the entrance way to the farm we felt like we had found somewhere special. The toilet facilities are immaculate, and the shower rooms are spotless too. I must say i felt very comfortable showering here, and didn't feel like i was avoiding touching the walls or stepping in certain places in them, and boy were they nice and hot, there was even a socket for my hairdryer and straighteners. The nice surprise was that there is an on site bar discuised as a barn. Inside the bar there are games on the tables, and book stand with books to be borrowed during your stay. And the prices on drinks brought a smile to our face as they are as honest as the owners of this lovely campsite. They also had crisps, chocolat, and sweets for the kids available at the bar.
There was only the two of us, but for couples with kids, right next door to the bar in a different section of the barn was a teen room, where the teens could hang out and meet new friends. The kids were also kept busy in the days by activities that were arranged by the owners, or they could play in the playground area. The site has its own little escape down by their pond which is fully stocked with different fish and you are welcome to fish free of charge, or just lay on a blanket and relax, or take a stroll though the vineyards. The owners can't do enough for you, and everyone on the site won't pass without saying hello. There is plenty to see and do in the area, cilgerran castle is a do not miss, and the nearby beaches of new quay are beautiful. All in all we are big fans of this site and will be returning again.

Originally booked in for 3 nights camping but only stayed for two due to the weather. Great site nice and quiet, Bev, Dave and family very nice and welcoming. Visited with 2 children aged 12 and 7 the youngest and ourselves really enjoyed it but the oldest was a bit bored due to lack of t.v, playstation, x-box etc. Excellent site but more suited to couples and families with younger children,we would definitely visit again without our oldest in tow. Keep up the good work Bev and Dave!

Stayed at this site over Easter and would highly recommend it. Very friendly people, very clean site and very spacious plots. Showers and toilets kept spotless at all times, plenty of hot water and never had to queue. Set in a very tranquil location with lovely views. Very well suited to families especially with young children who will enjoy feeding the rabbits, ducks and goats. The owners, Bev and Dave are two of the most friendliest people we have met and nothing is too much trouble for them, you only need to ask. There are loads of interesting places to visit, but you do need a car. Newcastle Emlyn is a qaint village which has a selection of shops catering for most needs and Cenarth is very pretty with a lovely waterfall setting. We had a lovely time at this site - it's not commercial, it's relaxing and peaceful and we will most certainly go back.

Our second Easter at this site and it just gets better and better. Still the wonderful rustic family-run site with emphasis on enjoying family life. Kids loved the egg-painting, Easter basket making and egg-rolling. If you have children or pets (or like us, both!) you will be warmly welcomed here. If however you like amusement arcades and rowdy karaoke bars, this is not the place for you. The focus is very much on enjoy life's simple pleasures and makes for some much needed quality-time with the kids. Dave & Bev are keen to please and even 'borrowed' a couple of orphan lambs from a neighbouring farm for a couple of hours to show the kids - they were simply adorable! As are their goats. ;-) As before, the facilities are rustic but spotlessly clean. This year saw the addition of a small laundry room with washer/dryer, sink etc along with information/leaflets on the surrounding area. Should you need more help, Dave & Bev are more than happy to help you find what you are looking for.we had a day out on 'Thomas the Tank Engine' which was about 30 mins away and made our toddlers day. We also visited New Quay and the kids had fun on the lovely beach, dashing in and out of the shallow water. Next year we plan to visit 'Oakwood Park' which is Wales largest theme park (I think!) and about 20 miles away. There are also numerous good walks in the surrounding area with fabulous views out over Newcastle Emlyn and further. Next year, we hope to see the new picnic area by the pond which is currently under construction. We had excellent weather this Easter, and we have all returned home with a healthy glow! Our thanks once again to Dave, Bev and family for an excellent weekend. See you again next year!

This site is a gem, run by people who understand the needs of visiting caravan / campers and their families. Clean and tidy at all times, good size pitches and loads to see and explore both on site and the surrounding area. Check out Newcastle Emlyn and see a pace of life that not many of us get to see these days. There are some excellent beaches only a short drive away. Make sure you go and see the Teifi Valley Railway at Henllan. Back on site in the evening you can visit the bar where Dave will be waiting to serve you with a well earned drink and the young'uns can go next door and chill out with their new friends. Washrooms & toilets first class. All in all a super site. Book early.

We had a fabulous time on this site and will definitely be looking to book another stay next year. The pitches are very generous and the site is very spacious so everyone has ample room to spread out. The pride and care that Bev and Dave take in ensuring that everyone has a good time is reflected by the wonderful atmosphere among campers. They always took time to chat. The toilets were very clean and well stocked and the weekly flower arrangements (one of the children's Sat morning activities) were a lovely touch. We enjoyed our jaunts down to the little on-site bar for a very reasonably priced beverage! Quiz night and Bingo were great fun for all. Our youngest (8) enjoyed getting up for 9am to go and feed the animals. Quiet rules were observed and the pace of life was so slow and relaxing - this is ideal for families who have children who want to explore in relative safety and who need space for ball games, kite-flying etc. As well as for those who want to relax and enjoy the countryside. Newcastle Emlyn is an interesting little town and I can highly recommend a full vegetarian breakfast at the Croeso (unsure of spelling) cafe - especially if you only want to eat one meal a day! Scallywags was shopping heaven from my teenage daughter. There's a lovely walk to be had around the castle ruins but be careful with little ones as there's a steep drop. Could wax lyrical for hours about how wonderful our stay was so I'll submit again after our next visit!

We have just returned from spending a very enjoyable 10 day holiday at Dolbryn with our six children. What a wonderful site this is. The owners Bev and Dave and their family are very welcoming and the campsite is the most well presented and friendly we've come across. The pitches are large and flat leaving lots of space for the children to play. There is a nice little play area and the children are invited to feed the animals at set times in the day. The toilets and showers are kept very clean. There is a bar where families can meet and take part in quizzes/bingo etc. If they wish. We really would find it hard to find fault with anything (except the wet weather - wellies recommended). We will definitely be returning,

We spent 3 nights here last week and really enjoyed our stay, in fact if it hadn't rained for the entire time we would have loved to have stayed longer. The setting was beautiful and so peaceful and the price was more than reasonable at £9.50 per night a small price to pay for friendly helpful owners( nothing too much trouble). Clean toilets and showers with plenty of hot water. We have 2 girls 8yrs & 3yrs they enjoyed the play area and feeding the goats. This site is very family orientated, most families we spoke to had booked for 2 or 3 nights but ended up staying much longer. We are looking forward to returning before the end of the season.
