June 2005 This really is a peach of a site and should be a "must visit" on everyones list. This is how all campsites should be run. Beware there are some steep gradients on the roads leading to the site but they are soon forgot about once pitched.
The site is generally slightly sloping over 2 paddocks (Pines & Lakes) both with EHUs. Facilities include a new shower block and toilets (inc disabled) which are kept exceptionally clean,a launderette is currently being added,A small clubhouse, fishing pond(s), dish washing sinks, dog walk, etc. But its not the facilities that make this site what it is. Its the owners (Dave,Bev & family) that make this site very special. Nothing is too much trouble for them. We didn't want to leave after our weeks stay and are now looking forward to our return in August for the stargazer weekend. Once again add this site to your "must visit" list you wont regret it !!!

May 2005 The site is lovely. It is tucked away in the hillside but within easy reach of beautiful beaches. The campsite itself is split into 2 fields- we were in the Pines. There is tons of room for children to play and the park looks great. I have an 8 yr old daughter and I would be happy for her to ride her bike around and go to the park and play. Although it is very open, you have a clear view because the tents/vans are placed around the edge of the fields.
The campsite owners were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The toilets and showers are spotlessly clean. There is a bar that is open in the evenings, but if you want the highlife and arcades, go somewhere else. The best recommendation I can give is that we have already booked to go back to the site in the next few weeks.

May 2005 Wonderful place to go if you want to relax and wind down from your hectic life style. The owners treat you as someone special and cant do enough for you if you have any problems. The toilets and showers are superb . They are busy improving the site but do not let this put you off.
The bar is open in the evening ,its basic but very cosy and you can all get together and chat. This was our first visit and we have booked another week in July. Plenty of space to exercise your dog. Fishing on site on 2 small pools.

March 2005 A gem of a site. The owners (Bev&Dave) are caravaners themselves and know exactly what people want from a good site, they are so welcoming and helpful. The toilets & showers are new and free, chidren are welcomed rather than tolerated, as are dogs, with plenty of space for all. But best of all, cheap as chips.

August 2004 Perfect!!! This has got to be one of the most picturesque sites I have ever stayed in. Dolbryn is situated in the beautiful Teifi Valley. Close by is Newcastle Emlyn, Cenarth Falls, Aberporth, Camarthen and Cardigan. If you are looking for nightclubs, swimming pools and amusement arcades, this isn't the site for you. What you get is a warm welcome from Bev and Dave who treat you with the same hospitality normally seen in a family run B+B. Toilets and showers are basic, but sufficient and clean. However Bev and Dave inform me that these are being upgraded soon. Other attractions include a woodland walk; a small well stocked fishing lake for exclusive use of the campers, Barn Bar with a sweet shop and plenty of games for the kids. For the Kids is a play area including a trampoline, Chickens, Goats, Rabbits, a rooster, and a couple of very playful kittens. The kids liked Bev's activities including "Sticky Club" which included making miniature gardens and bird feeders. Once again I cannot recommend Dolbryn enough of you are looking for an idyllic site in beautiful surroundings.

May 2004 Dolbryn is a quaint, small, family run campsite with bags of character, conveniently nestled in a natural bowl, which protects it from the worst of the wind. Our experience was that nothing is too much for the owners to make your stay a pleasure. The facilities are ‘rustic’ but spotlessly clean. Hot water and showers are all included in the great value pitch fee. There is even an onsite bar, open in the evenings, located in one of the old farm buildings complete with log burning stove. For those who like their wildlife, the mature grounds provide a great habitat for birds. Fly catchers, Blue Tits and Swallows were nesting in the buildings during our stay. Further afield, we were even lucky enough to see the local dolphins in Cardigan Bay. All in all if you want a peaceful holiday within easy reach of beaches and local conveniences this is probably the one for you!
