Lovely place. Very quiet during the week, which suited us perfectly as my husband was on a fairly demanding training course and I had to run our business from the caravan. Showers were powerful and hot and toilet facilities were spotless. Plenty of nice pubs and restaurants within a 10 mile radius, and only a couple of miles away from Lidl and Tesco. We are considering a seasonal pitch as it would make a nice weekend getaway destination.

Our visit to Diglea was first time we used our caravan and the experience was amazing. The park is only 40 miles from home but it felt like a world away. It is situated in a lovely location, with easy access from the main road and 10 minutes walk to a beautiful beach and many other walks. There is a bar and burger/breakfast van on site and good fish and chips shop 5 minutes walk away. There is also a children's playground, is dog friendly and feels safe. The ablutions are ok with plenty of hot water and power showers. The thing that stuck us the most is how friendly and relaxed everyone is. We did not want to leave and will definitely be back and the experience at Diglea has help reassure us that purchasing a caravan was definitely the right thing to do as we loved it.

This is the friendliest site we've ever stayed on, from the staff at booking and on site, to the other campers. The only rule I saw was 'pick up after your dog's, which is how it should be. Nice little club on site selling reasonably priced drinks. Nice walks in the area too. Well happy, and will return.

Enjoyed my mini break. Lovely site. Clean and tidy. Well maintained site. Staff friendly and accommodating. Pity some campers feel they are the only ones there, with children riding their bikes as close as possible to the tents and dogs. Parents just sat drinking.

What a sweet little gem of a campsite, lovely and peaceful and everyone very friendly, in particular very dog friendly, close to beach and decent fish and chip shop too. Nice clean toilets and showers with free hot water for shower, no token malarkey thankfully AND there was a heater in the shower/toilet block - my only suggestion and not a criticism is perhaps a self closing main door or a sign to please close door as it was chilly the weekend we went. Other than that PERFECT.

Stayed here for a few days over the bank holiday. Large site, our pitch was spacious. We were fortunate as quite a lot were crammed in. There is no separation between caravan fields and tent fields which we have found on other sites. The showers and toilet block are not adequate for the number of pitches and they were dirty. The rubbish bins were overflowing. The location is good and easy to find.

Hit and miss on this campsite. When we got here. They was no one on reception and we were wait around 20 min before my husband went in to the bar and ask what was happening we were told someone will be there in a few min and no one came so back in the bar and she told she just set up everywhere in the back field. The back field was full and once we fine somewhere the people around us was really friendly and help us setup ( we didn’t need help ). The site was quite especially after 10:30 which was great for the kids. And the park was okay ish. We never use the club house. The toilet was not great. Dirty 70% of the time and water all over the place after people use the shower. The unit for clean pots and pans was great and plenty of hot water. On leave the site the person can’t find us name on the list so we got the ideas that no one actually no us was there. The site was ok and cheap so ok for a quick few days away but I got the idea that they was short staff, that why the toilet not 100%.
If you are going away in tent please be aware the ground really bump and full of mole holes.
Beach is really not far away so that good. No shop in site but the park down the road has.

First weekend back at Diglea and we really enjoyed the quiet spot we always aim to choose but having said that the big field is also a good spot to be on. Ducks visited us regularly and first time our puppy had been and the great dog walk is a real asset. The bar is ok but on other nearby sites you can take dogs in but not in the Diglea one. Not sure why really. I know you have outside seating but it is nice to go inside sometimes.

Stayed 29th March-4th April for the wettest Easter weekend possible. Lovely site. Love staying here. Only downside was all the mud due to pitches being on grass. Looking forward to returning again a few times this year. Lovely site. Very friendly

Lovely quiet field, loved the ducks coming to say 'good morning'. Toilet block and washing up room clean. Reception friendly. We will be coming back. But the only downside was all the rubbish that there was in the hedges around the field. The walk to the beach was only about 10 minutes - it took us longer as I was stopping to pick the blackberries on the way. Chip shop was top notch!the amusements were closed for some reason, so the children didn't get to go in (not a bad thing!) We liked the barrier which stopped unwanted people for entering which made it found safe.
