Spent BH weekend at Diglea. 4 adults 4 children in 2 tents. Had a lovely weekend at this site helped by the beautiful weather. We were in the rally field which I have to say was a lot quieter than around the play area, this area of the site seemed to be a lot busier.
Toilet/shower facilities were clean but as it was bank holiday did find had to queue. Easy walking distance to chip shop, amusements and beach. Will definitely be using this site again. Only downside was not having a small shop on site to buy your bread / milk etc.

We spent one night at this camp site with friends. In total 4 adults and 4 children aged 14, 12, 8 and 7.

Over all we were quite impressed. The camp site is a lovely quaint site with a nice park for the children. The toilets, showers and washing up area were very close by and very clean.

If you do not like noise then I have to say this is not the site for you! There was quite a lot of noise at night, but this died down at about midnight and personally we did not mind.

We would definitely visit this camp site again.

Lovely clean site, hard standing would have been better as grass pitch was a bit up and down. Child facilities were good but teenage girls did tend to congregate in the ladies toilets !

Not too far from the beach, and lovely chip shop just up the road, staff were very friendly and helpful and a very pleasant site to stay on with children.

Stayed Whit week with 2 adults, 1 child and two dogs. We found this to be a very good site. The play area for the children is very good and was very close to our pitch so we could keep an eye on our son.
Pitch size was adequate with enough room for our car and dog cage. We did have heavy rain, however it did drain fairly quickly.
The walk down to the nearest beach has no footpath some of the way but dogs are allowed on there all year round, however when the tide goes out the beach does become very soft and sucks you in. The dog walking section on the site is very good and is well away from other campers which is good for you and them.

We really like this site and will be visiting again.

We had a nice time at this site, it is ideally situated for touring north Norfolk. We particularly enjoyed the beach at Wells-next-Sea which is about half hours drive away. The kids also loved crabbing at nearby Thornham. The site was adequate to our needs, toilets were clean and water was always hot.

The kids spent hours in the playground and made lots of friends so they were happy. It would be nice to have a little shop on site so children can go buy ice-creams / sweets on their own - there is a shop about a five minute walk down the road though, however, not always open. The nearby fish and chip shop is good and not badly priced.

We found the on-site club to be rather overpriced and not enough inside to keep the kids entertained - some twopenny pushers would be ideal. It seemed like a long walk to the laundry room from the tourer field, seemingly catering more for the statics which were nearer.

There is a good dog walk with pooh bins provided. Some dog owners were very irresponsible and did not pick up - not the fault of the management as provisions were in place.

We would stay at this site again if we could face the prospect of the A17 again!

A few of us '6' stayed a few nights, we were all very happy with the site 'camping / teepee'. It was clean and tidy as were the loo`s and showers they looked nice and new.

There's a chip shop a 5 min walk which was nice and a little shop. + there's a power kite shop next to the chip shop.

They have on site bar and live entertainment in the family room.

We are going again to Diglea end of Aug 08.

And thanks to jenna and the manager for looking after us. See you soon.

Well maintained site, the toilet/shower block near us was fairly new I think and was cleaned on a regular basis. The pitches were a fairly good size and nice and flat. The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Steve the owner who even gave us his mobile phone number when we were worried about some very noisy neighbours who had been drinking all day - luckily they were quieter than expected!
There is a playpark on site but we found it was usually 'taken over' by older kids who had little respect for little ones wanting to use the slides or swings - this seems to the the norm on larger sites with activities which we do usually avoid but were camping with friends and had several small children between us!
There is a pub on site but we didn't use it. There is no shop on site but 2 small shops just down the road and there is also a small arcade and very nice fish and chip shop (turn left when leaving the site and it is 5 minutes walk). If you keep walking the beach is at the bottom of the road, we found it shingle and the sea water was oily but the kids had a nice time making sand castles.

We had a very nice cooked breakfast at the caravan park next door, a full english is £5 with a cuppa included.

I found Diglea camp site to be very relaxing, the toilet block is clean at all times, there is a small play ground that entertains children for hours, and there is plenty of room for ball games. There is a pub on site which is open from dinner time, and also has entertainment at weekend. There are no shops on site but there are 2 shops and a chip shop and a arcade about 5 - 10 mins walk away, There is also a beach which is about 10 minutes walk, ( which I might add is stoney ). And if you wish Hunstanton is only a 10 min drive away.

I found the staff very friendly and helpful and im looking forward to going back at the end of September.

We just came back from our five nights stay at the site and it was great.

All the staff we met were helpful and friendly specially Carol. I requested for two tent pitches with electric hook up by the hedges as both families have children and its extra security and cover for the wind (no.18 & 17). The pitches are big, we even manage to make a badminton court which we use a lot, kids enjoyed the playground as well. We are close to the toilet / shower and we always use them late at night so we never had a problem with the queue, except sometimes with a bit of smell not sure if it was the drainage or the toilet but it did not bother us.

We used the bar once until midnight and its good as they have a family room so the kids enjoyed the games and pool tables.

The beach is only 12 min walk, if you want to drive. The parking is only £2.50 for the whole day. Before the beach there is a small amusement area and fish&chips.

We enjoyed catching crabs in Hunstanton and Cromer. If you like fishing you must visit Clay next the sea, we did fly fishing and swimming there from 5pm to 10pm. Its around 32 miles from the site and the scenery along A149 was wonderful.

We definitely will recommend this site and will come back one day.

We've just returned from Diglea, and I have to say, our feelings are very mixed about this site.

It's quite a big site, but it's mainly filled with statics and seasonal pitches, with only a relatively small area given for tents and vans, and a seperate rally field. Our pitch was really small, with 2 trees slap bang in the middle of it. They admitted we had been given this pitch by mistake, as it was too small for a van with awning, and they had to come and trim the trees back before we could site the van! They did offer us another pitch in the rally field, but that was even more cramped, so we decided to stay put.

We were right next to the play area, which was lovely for the kids, and really well equipped. Not so nice at dusk when the older kids congregated for their nightly water fights. The language was very loud 'colourful' and when I asked 1 young lad to cool it, he told me to 'eff off' and threw a handful of stones at the caravan!

The shower blocks were in desperate need of updating, but were adequate, and were cleaned regularly. They were free, with plenty of hot water (except for 2 days when the boiler broke, and it was cold showers or nothing!)

The on-site bar really let the site down. The outside seating area was filthy, with empty glasses and bottles strewn on the tables for 3 or 4 days. There was dog mess near the tables and broken glass in the bbq shelter. This was never cleaned up for the whole of our stay. But there is a lovely bar on the site next door, which is only a 2 minute walk away.

There is a nice dog walk on the site, but again this was unfortunately badly maintained, and the bins were overflowing with stinking piles of doggy bags.

This has the makings of a really good site, but was badly let down by the poor maintenance and laid-back attitudes. The owners and staff were lovely, and would go out of their way to help you, but really need to tighten up the cleanliness of the whole site, and keep a much closer eye on the play area.

Luckily, the surrounding area was beautiful, which really made our holiday worthwhile. Snettisham beach is quite shingly but still lovely, and is around 15mins walk from the site, with a lovely chippy en-route. There is also a small shop near the beach which sells basic groceries. Dersingham, which is a 5 min drive away, has a couple of bigger grocery shops and a cash machine, and there is a big Tesco in Hunstanton. Old Hunstanton beach is gorgeous, and we really sandy, and Hunstanton beach is really nice, but is much busier and touristy with lots of amusements and fast food kiosks. Dogs are allowed on all the beaches except the main one at Hunstanton. Sandringham is a couple of miles from the site, and the grounds are great for a picnic, or for letting the kids run off some steam. There is also a lovely farm park in Snettisham, which is well worth a visit for the deer safari alone. You are taken by tractor and trailer right into the middle of the deer park, and can feed and pet them, which the kids loved.

This area is beautiful and definitely worth a visit, but I don't think we'll be returning to Diglea in a hurry.
