We returned to Diglea along with other family members. Had a great time, such a welcoming place. Diglea is a favourite site because it is so family friendly. We had a pleasant walk along the beach to hunstanton where we stopped for tea and then walked back to Diglea, it was a great way to spend the day and the kids and dogs loved it. We recommend Diglea to all families to try.

We camped at Diglea for a long weekend, the welcome was friendly. There were two areas to camp for tents either a small wooded area near to the play area ideal with small children (no defined pitches just pitch were there is a space ),though this area is in the middle of the campsite and the noise travels from the club house at night.
The washing up facilities and toilet /shower blocks are just a few metres away(the showers were cleaned daily though they could do with updating abit). The other area is a plotted area in a separate field still with showering washing facilities. The site also had some static caravan, a rally field, and caravan areas.
The club house although small for the size of the site enabled parents to have a drink whilst children ran around outside on a lawned area. The camp is next to two others which have bars and eating areas, with a takeaway a couple of hundred metres away. The site is close to a beach and bord reserve but the better beaches were found on the north norfolk coast 10miles away .
If you are looking for a quiet site with lots of space then this isnt the site for you, but for a long weekend , a stones throw from Hunstanton it was a pleasant enought camping experience for a change

August 2005 The site had clean facilities and there was plenty of hot water from the showers. The disabled facilities were very good with accessible toilet and shower - you need to ask for a key at reception to use the disabled facilities.
The tent field we were in had a lot of trees in it - It was difficult to find a pitch that wasn't underneath them. But you could pitch where you like.
Staff were friendly and helpful.

August 2005 Just arrived back from Diglea after being there for 4 nights, 5 days. We had a great time, there was two parties, five kids and four adults and we all had a fab holiday. The park was lovely and clean and not too cramped, plenty of space on pitch. The staff were lovely and very friendly, and extremely helpful. The park for the kids was good too, and the clubhouse was nice, maybe a little small. The shower blocks were clean but could do with a bit updating, the showers were always hot and plenty of shower blocks dotted round the site. We will definitely go back - it was the friendiest site we have been for along time, well done Diglea!

June 2005 Arrived at Diglea by chance - the evening was drawing in and we were looking for somewhere to pitch before dark. Paid £11 and were shown to the Rally field. Flat and massive - surrounded by hedges and even had a secluded and hidden run for dog walkers. Lovely sized pitches - plenty of room and space to breathe. Just the smells of several barbeques on the wind with sparadic laughter and conversation.
The toilet blocks were very clean - and the showers were free. The clubhouse was pleasant - good beer and normal prices - everyone was in a good mood and the whole place felt jolly. There are two sites between Diglea and the beach - each with equally welcoming bars - both with a seperate children's room so if you get bored of one - enjoy the next.
We ended up staying 2 nights we were enjoying it so much. Snettisham is 2 miles away and has 3 pubs - of which the Rose and Crown was the pick. And a beautiful church too.
Well situated and well enjoyed. Recommend to all.

June 2005 We have just returned from Diglea. It is a clean and tidy site ideal for families. The staff are helpful and polite. The beach is a ten minute walk from the site. My children had such a good time they didn't want to leave! I would recommend this site to any family wanting a break to spend time together. The dog enjoyed it too! There is a club house with entertainment most evenings. On the way to the beach there is a chip shop, restaurant, amusements and a shop selling basic items and really nice cakes. If you prefer, you can drive to the beach, however, there is a fee for parking. There is also a park to walk through, where rabbits and ducks wander freely. The nearest supermarket is in Hunstanton. We will definitely visit Diglea again soon. It is such good value.

May 2005 Nice site good 3/4 mile off the main a road to hunstanton ,no traffic noise at night and very dark on rally field. Good idea to pack a torch ,it rained during our stay and allthough the field drains well i still managed to stand in the same small deep puddle every night!. Small club on site looks a little run down, but the beer was cheep and the entertainment at night was good. Nice play area for the kids in middle of site so no fear of losing them. Toilet and shower blocks very dated but always clean (porta cabin type on rally field). RSPB reserve just down the road,so lots of bird noise in morning also had daffy duck and his girlfriend try to get in the awning twice. 200 yards up the road is a chippy and amusement arcade and just past that is the beach. Good cheap site, good location, friendly staff,a little basic, but hey its a campsite .Will return to this one many times me thinks. PS doggy doog loved it too!

August 2004 We visited this site with our small motorhome and we pitched in the field at the end of the campsite. We are keen birdwatchers and thought it would be ideal for birdwatching at Snettisham. We drove off and left our pitch marked with a few belongings: including windbreak, step and sign saying that the pitch was taken. When we arrived back after a day birdwatching we found all our belongings gone and the sign in the middle of the field, we advise anyone visiting the site to guard their belongings. The staff were very upset and gave us a refund for the night we were going to stay after we decided to go home but we were nevertheless very disappointed as we are used to leaving things out on Camping Club sites and never have any trouble. We also thought the toilets were very grubby, we won't visit the site again.

August 2004 Nice quiet non-commercial site, ideal if you want to get away from it all, but best in numbers as apart from a Club House, you need to travel for anything else. Beach not far away, rather stoney, but found a lovely one at Brancaster some 9 miles away which was well worth a visit. We were sited on the overflow field, which was much more spacious than the normal pitches and would ask to be placed here if booking again. Only down side, was the toilets/showers, which were cleaned twice daily, however were still fairly grubby and in need of a refurb. Would visit again if placed in same field.

August 2004 First time at Diglea and infact our first time camping as a family, we only intended to stay for three nights but ended up staying a week. We found it very hard to fault the place, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The warden reguarly patrols the site, often stopping for a chat on his way round. Tent pitches were of a very generous size and had enough room for a house, let alone a tent. There are three fields to camp on, one is a family area with swings etc for the kids, one is a landscaped area for tourers and tents and one open plan field that we stayed on, perfect for our four year old whom we could see at all times. The Bar served a good pint at reasonable prices, and there were enough machines and other kids around to keep the littlun' happy. We will definitely be returning to diglea, the location is perfect for exploring the Norfolk Coast, 5 mins from beach and its cheap and has everything you want. My only criticism were that the showers down the bottom end were a bit tatty, but were always clean & hot, so don't let that put you off, overall this site deserves 9/10
