Had a fab time at a caravan club rally at this site. Nice big pitches and the toilets and showers were very clean, the clubhouse puts on quite a bit of entertainment, but it could do with being cleaned a bit more as the floor and tables felt sticky! Diglea is a nice place and its a shame they don't have a shop on site though a short walk and you can get a few basics but a car is needed in my opinion. The play ground is mainly suitable for young children it consists of a couple of slides a climbing frame and swings.
The dog walk has plenty of poop bins and I found the general cleanliness of the place ok.
I would definitely visit again as the location is a great base for visiting North Norfolk.

Just returned from this campsite and I have to say that we have had a brilliant time albeit a little bit windy, but that was the case for most of the country and the touring field is surrounded by large trees and conifers which would offer some shelter in non gusty conditions.
We booked at short notice for a Non EHU pitch as it was the weekend of the royal wedding and got on no problem and whilst the campsite was very busy we didn't feel like we lost any privacy.
Although it was busy there was no noise to report.
The showers were a portable cabin but well heated and maintained and always extremely clean. There were electric sockets within the toilets and showers for you to use your own hairdryer etc which I didn't know before arriving so spent the weekend looking like I'd just plugged my fingers into them.
There was a good play area on site but wasn't able to be seen from the rally field but not a problem as we don't let our 3 year old wander off anyway.
We didn't use the club on site so can't comment but it did look rather small from outside. The campsite was kept immaculately clean.
The beach and local shops were literally 5 minutes walk or 10 minutes with a little one and the shop stocked almost everything you could want.
Heacham is only a 5 minute drive away where there is a Tesco Express and Co-Op should you need anything else.
All in all we had a great time and although vacation time from the pitch was 11am we were told there was no pressure to leave by then and actually if we wanted to stay and leave later just to let them know and we could for no extra charge. Fantastic.

We booked a pitch at very short notice to try out our new folding caravan. The person on the phone was very helpful and told us our dog was welcome and ensured our pitch was everything we needed for a weekend break.
When we arrived, we were greeted like old friends and given the electronic gate pass (for £10 deposit returned when leaving). A small price to pay for peace of mind!
When we arrived at our pitch, we had an offer of help from a fellow camper (lady aged about 60) to push the caravan in to position. All the campers on our patch of site were a friendly bunch.
We found it a very clean site, and although close to the very well attended children's play area,we were quite surprised how well the children controlled their noise.
Our pitch was large and level. We didn't use the club house on this visit, but could see it was very popular as we walked the dog on the green area close by it.
5 minute walk away is a fantastic Fish & Chip shop on Beach Road (good portions for a reasonable price, we will use that one again), and another 2 minutes and your on the beach. The toilet block and wash up areas were well maintained and clean.
Plenty of 'doggy bins' around (and well used, no dog mess spotted). I could not think of a negative thing to say about this site apart from (and this is our fault), we planned to go away for a week over Easter Bank Holidays, but left it too late to book and found the site was fully booked up (something we wont leave till the last minute in future).
We will be returning to Diglea, without a doubt.

What a great site for children, with adequate playground and plenty of open space, where my wife and I had great fun watching their antics whilst reading our books. We chose the site because we have dogs and were pleased with our choice. Superb dog walk, and if needed, dogs could be exercised on the beach. Good allocation of doggy pooh bins, that the good dog owners always used.
Though not on the same pitch each weekend, the toilet facilities within reach were very good, though the showers were a little narrow. Yet, even with children using them all summer, the staff were on top of the cleaning. We are not club people, but many of our neighbours went across each evening, intimating that the evening facilities were O.K. No shop on site, but a couple of hundred yards up the road from the gate is a small complex, that included a fish and chip shop. For day to day items its a couple of miles into the village where there is a garden Centre, three coffee shops, store, chemist, book shop and charity shop. Close by are several pubs, some with gardens, that serve excellent food. If not your 'cup of tea' there is the night life of Hunstanton just up the coast. Whilst busy at times, the site was very seldom noisy.
The warden and his staff were of assistance without being obtrusive, even the security vehicle was discreet. The locking of the main gate was no problem, toot the horn and someone was there straight away.
We would recommend this site to anyone looking to visit the attractions of the north Norfolk coast.

Stayed 3 nights. Showers could do with updating only lasted less than 1 min had to push button again. Needed 3hands. Otherwise helpful staff and good atmosphere, camped in rally field beach a short walk a good size pitch would use again.
Hunstanton just down the road and heacham. Sandringham very close by went over the bank holiday weekend it was very busy but still very enjoyable. Diglea is dog friendly and everything went quiet around midnight so was not kept up by loud groups of people. The site itself is very easy to find.

Stayed here for long weekend. Reception staff were very helpful. However we were not impressed by this site. It was very noisy on the Friday night, with an awful lot of swearing, not what you want to be woken up to! This was quite near to our tent and felt quite vulnerable. Toilet block was ok. Ground was a bit uneven, although flat a few dips/chunks of earth missing?!?
There was a good chippy just down the beach Rd, and Sandies Bar next door very welcoming & doggie friendly. The beach is just at the end of the road.
We didn't use the Beavers Retreat, only to freeze ice packs - but beware when giving them in, took 3 attempts to get them back as could only get to them when the bar was open!

Had a great time at Diglea. Campstite was about a third full so there was plenty of room to spread out, having said that the pitches were pretty big anyway. Showers etc were all clean and fully functioning and plenty of hot water. Felt comfortable letting the kids go off and explore the site. Kiddies park was a bit limited - could do with a few more items. Nearest beach isnt the best (bit gravely becoming muddy) but it is easily walkable and good enough for frisbee/football. There are plenty more nice spots not far away. Chappie on front desk was very helpful.

Visted Diglea for two nights, camping in our new tent on the touring field. Staff both over the telephone and upon arrival were very friendly and helpful.
The site was clean and adequate facilities were available. Pitches for tents were a good size and not overly busy despite being the first week of the school hols! Showers and toilet blocks were clean and free. Did not venture to the bar as it did not look very inviting - may have done if we had stayed longer.
Play area available for children and shop near by is useful. Beach close to the campsite was lovely and quiet, though a trip to Hunstanton was a short drive away and Wells-On-Sea was a lovely day out! The Sandringham estate can also be recommended for a trip out!
All in all a great little campsite. Would visit again.

If you are one of those campers that's like a free and easy 'do as you please' site this is for you and I really mean that. Clearly people visiting enjoyed this site but I'm afraid with a young family we didn't.
The entrance to the site is well kept and smart but as you progress to the camping field its a whole different story. The advice of ' pitch where you like' I now understand means progress with extreme caution, it may sound open but I'm afraid brings about mayhem. Tents within inches of each other, disposable barbecues abound to form a frighting scene.
Mixing of large commercial vehicles as transport or converted campers gave an unpleasant view and I think one was a converted prison van. Child supervision seems poor with many running wild and not completley friendly in the playground.
Dogs too seem to have adopted the free and easy approach and are free roam to wander the site and mess where they please without owners attention. When you link this with the litter & single mop approach to cleaning the mens and female facilities you get a malodorous possible risk to public health and particularly so with children.
Clearly the site owners care about the place and are friendly but they do need to reign in the 'do as you please ' approach as visitors have gone wild with it. Clearing up very much needed to this site and cleaning improvement to establish a basic level. Sorry Diglea
Surrounding area is very limited, beach very poor unless you are a twitcher and the adjacent camp bars and chip shop less than pleasant. Real ale in the beavers retreat and service very good and quite fun. Regrettably less than favourable but I wouldn't like a family to have our experience until action is taken. Is this possibly end of season fatigue ?

Stayed for 2 nights, very clean and good layout, my son (aged 10)was very happy with the play area,
Close to beach and hunstanton. Staff very friendly and helpful. Our tent is over 7 meters long and we had plenty of room on our pitch,
The loo's were very clean and there were at least two block's. All in all a very nice place to stay and we will go back, a good place to explore from
