Being only 45mins from home this is an ideal location for us. The site has plenty of room having extra fields to accommodate people. Facilities are good (showers wc) a bar opens Friday evening at 6 and lunch onwards Saturday with a snack caravan but 200yds away at the adjoining site is a pub which is open lunchtime Friday which is great as when we arrive we do like to go for some refreshment once we have put the awning up and settled in. This pub also does meals and basket meals too if you want a smaller bite to eat. Diglea's site has a dog walk area which is one of, the best I have ever seen. Kim the receptionist is very friendly and helpful. Sitting watching the ducks and even a monk jack deer pass by when you are relaxing is an ideal setting. Just over a mile to the local beach, plus there is a nature reserve and lakeside walk you can access just pass the entrance to the adjoining site. Only 2 miles to Heacham and it's beach (both a bit sand stone mix so take beach shoes) but both allow dogs and Hunstanton is only 7 miles away where dogs are allowed at old Hunstanton beach just near the ancient mariner pub/hotel which allows dogs in its tiled bar area. Order your papers on arrival. Only negatives are the reception doesn't open till 9am. 8 on a caravan site would be a bit more convenient, and the bar not opening Friday till 6pm but with nearby facilities (including a great fish and chip shop but be prepared to queue nearby) and a shop. Both a little way down the road towards the beach. For a bigger shop there is a big Tesco in Hunstanton with fuel station too. Easy access to some lovely coastal villages and Sandringham nearby. Plus the well known Norfolk Lavendar Centre opposite the Heacham turn. Would also recommend the Rose and Crown pub just over the Main Rd, Snetisham. We will certainly be visiting Diglea's many more times and really enjoy staying there.

 We loved it here!

Six of us went, we are all students.

The people were really nice, it was good value for money, we had close access to everything we needed and the campsite is gorgeous.

The beach is a ten minute walk away. Hunstanton town is only fifteen minutes drive away.

We had loads of space to park our cars and pitch our tents wherever we wanted.

We are planning to come back again in the next two months!

Toilets and showers were in the same field as us- really convenient!

Lovely campsite. Pity we had so much rain. Only complaint the rooster woke us up at 4. 00am every morning. I know there is not much that can be done about that. Easy to find. Think we will stay longer next time as only had 2 nights.

I have recently returned from Diglea in deepest Norfolk where I went for a quick getaway, it was nice to be offered a choice of pitches and was offered an almost empty events field in which to pitch up. I picked a nice little spot adjacent to a well looked after dog walk area for convenience as I had my pooch with me. The pitches are well laid out easy to see the boundaries of your pitch and spacious enough to park a reasonable size car and pitch your tent in. The washing up facilities are well maintained and clean as is the toilet & shower block area. As this was my 1st camping experience in several years, I must say it was a very pleasant site, close to the dog friendly beach and nature reserve easily within a 10 minute walk. It remained quiet and peaceful on site throughout my stay. I would thoroughly recommend this site to anyone wanting a quiet non commercial break.

Lovely site. Peaceful though busy, well Kept and secure with impressive dog walk area, bar and club and friendly people running the site. Only downside is you have to go off site to get food but not far. Nearby site has facilities. Be prepared to use own internet as the site has difficulty accessing internet but not their fault.

Order newspaper on reception and it will be there for you in the morning.

Good toilets and showers.

Not far to other places of interest like sandringham, kings lynn, castle acre, Hunstanton, heacham.

This is a nice quiet friendly site. Serious reservations about toilet blocks and clubhouse both dated and need upgrading given nightly charge this investment is imperative. Disappointed no shop on site and no food offer at clubhouse. However the plus side is the site is level clean and tidy and grounds well maintained. We will visit again.

Stayed here several times over the years, the owners are very helpful and will allow you to choose a pitch if you ask. Plenty of space, nice sized bar with large TVs etc for watching sporting events etc. Just a few mins away from the beach, more bars, a chip shop and small shop !

We LOVE this site! My parents had their touring caravan sited here for a few years when I was a child, now we find ourselves returning time and time again! The site itself is always clean and tidy. Nice little playground for the kids, excellent dog walk- with plenty of bins that are regularly emptied! The pitches are clearly marked out and each pitch has plenty of room for our 7-man tent and our car. The site is by far the best we've been to for toilet and shower facilities - they are always clean and tidy AND there are plenty! A full block in each field plus great washing up facilities too. The staff at Diglea are all very friendly and helpful. The clubhouse on the site is nicely maintained, great decked area outside with water bowls for doggies, we stayed for the spring bank week and there was entertainment on in the evenings- kids disco and games. The area itself is fairly quiet- it's at the end of a long country lane with 3 other sites close by- each with another clubhouse. 5 mins walk out of the site is a delicious chippy and a small arcade that was under refurbishment when we went. A further 5/10 mins walk is the beach, reasonably sandy with a few pebbles/shells - but then quite muddy as the tide goes out. We ended up with happy but very dirty children and dogs! Ice cream van in the beach car park always goes down a treat! For wildlife lovers - there are ample places to fish and also an RSPB reserve about 30mins walk from the site. The town of Hunstanton is about a 15 min drive with all the usual seaside facilities and shops you'd expect. Kings lynn is about 20 mins away offering the amenities of a larger town. Lots of activities and places to visit close by. Our favourite campsite in Britain - and we're from Yorkshire so it's a good 2-3hours drive for us - well worth it!

Love Diglea, short walk to the beach and you can walk to Hunstanton. Lovely clean tidy site with huge pitches, electric hook ups and plenty of taps within easy reach. Big bin area kept tidy, no overflowing bins.

Toilet and showers clean and tidy.

We've just returned from four days at Diglea and must say it was one of the loveliest sites we have been to. It has an old fashioned charm in a beautiful setting with very friendly folk. The location is beautiful, not far from the beach. We enjoyed watching all the ducks with their huge clutches of chicks roaming around though we sadly, never got to see the resident deers roaming as it was so peaceful, we never woke early enough. If you're looking for high tech spec this isn't for you but for relaxation in a pretty, well laid out natural setting, this is a gem.
