Just got back from our 1st weekend in our caravan - we've been 'tenters' up 'til now - and couldn't have chosen a better place to start. On arrival staff were really helpful and friendly - when we told them it was our first time they couldn't help enough.
Campsite was immaculately clean and tidy with clearly defined pitches (although was a slight slope and we hadn't got any levelling chocks - but no problem if you have). Toilet and shower facilities were also immaculate and clean and they are also building a new additional block to include family bathrooms.
Was a great location for 'shopaholics' like us with Biscester Shopping Village and Oxford centre with in easy reach (Yup, the wallet took a hit!).
Also nearby Kidlington has a good range of take-away food outlets (The 'New Star' chinese was particlarly good).
All in all a terrific place for anybody and we will definitely be going back.

Just spent 8 days at this gem of a site, pitches of a very good size caravan awning and car on the one pitch and still room to sit outside, toilets very clean at all times nice big walk in showers with great pressure and plenty of hot water, site well laid out and very neat and tidy, wardens and owners very friendly and always stopped for a chat. 3 fishing lakes some nice fish caught, but all lakes still in the early stages as site is not that old. Plenty of open space for the children to play and lots of animals to look at, good games room for the kids to. Chickens run free so you do get them in your tents and awnings. A very good site of which we will return.

We arrived at Greenhill at around 12:15pm and was greeted by a very friendly man at their reception/shop.After a quick check in we were shown to our field by an equally lovely lady and asked where we wanted to pitch(we chose the corner). As camping virgins I have to say we were a bit apprehensive about the whole camping experience but coming to this site I need not have worried.
The site is set in hills so all around is greenery, the farm itself is lovely with lakes(complete with life rings on side),some free range chickens which have the run of the place(i wasn't lucky enough to have an egg laid in my tent :-( ).There is also a small park and football field for the kids or big kids and the kids have plenty of farm animals to see which is all free once you are in the site!
This site is kept immaculately clean,no dog poo as the dogs had to stay on leads,we were there for about 22 hours in total and in that time the bins must have been emptied about 6 times(no exageration)the bins all have proper lids so no pesky wasps hanging around them, the pitches are lovely and green, the toilet and shower blocks are lovely and clean and reminded me of nice hotel loos abroad and they are heated as I found out at 3am this morning.
Only thing I think this site could do with is some swings up in the playground but that's not a gripe just a suggestion
Overall there is nothing I can say that is bad about this site.
10/10 from this happy camper hi-de-hi.
Would we go back?? absolutely and we will be but for longer next time!

Stayed for 4 nights as part of a two centre break.
It was at the end of the summer holidays and the site was extremely quiet (only another 4 tents in a huge field). On the plus side we got the (very clean, very new)facilities more or less to ourselves but on the negative side the site was a rather 'lonely' for a family holiday where expect a little bit of noise and commotion as kids play and enjoy themselves.
Facilities are great although the main toilet block only had two showers (in the gents) so I suspect there could be quiet a queue at peak times. It did look as though they were building another block at the bottom of the site and I think there is already a separate block at the end of the hard standings.
There is a lovely barn which has video games and pool tables as well as a communal fridge and freezer. The shop is well stocked and reasonably priced (nice local sausages!) and the staff are very helpful.
There is a pub a short walk away (out of the site and turn right) but you have to walk along a fast moving road which has no footpath so you have to regularly throw yourself into nettles and brambles but the pub itself is nice and worth the walk.
There's a park and ride bus service into Oxford a short drive away so plenty to do on rainy days.
Overall a great site. We will be back, hopefully when it's a little busier, so we can see it in all it's glory.

Just spent a long weekend (August B/H) here and really loved the site. We chose it because of positive reviews on this website and we weren't disappointed. The driveway into the site was smooth and pot hole free which was a relief as it was a long driveway. We've been to sites before when you'd really need a 4x4 just to negotiate the driveway! On the way in we passed pigs and sheep grazing.
When we arrived we visited reception and the young lady checked us in. We paid the remaining balance of our site fees and she directed us to go through the security barrier. We were met at the other side by the site warden who showed us to a choice of pitches (non electric pitches). We chose a spot near the play area so we could keep an eye on our daughter. It was near enough to see her but far enough away so as not to be a nuisance! Adequate play equipment for her (5 yrs) and older ones enjoyed the space to kick balls and fly kites. Tent pitching went well.
Ground was soft but not soggy despite the 3 days of rain that fell in the week before. Really family friendly site enabling our daughter to have a sense of freedom like going to the toilet on her own (she felt so grown up!). Lots of families camping there so loads of friends to play with. Did get a bit of noise for trainline nearby but this quietened down at night time. Whole site quiet by 9pm - couldn't believe it - so peaceful. Wash up facilities clean and plenty of hot water. Showers good too although not enough as you needed to go early or late if you didn't want to queue. Not enough toilets in the small block had to wait a few minutes on most trips.
Shop is well stocked and not over priced, wine £4.50 per bottle and quite drinkable. Fridge and freezer in the games barn for ice blocks which was handy. Games barn had a lot of video games plus pool, table tennis and table football and also a selection of books, etc to read. Chickens everywhere! One laid an egg in the tent next door. Very friendly and like to be fed - my daughter loved them - they weren't a pest though and were easily enouraged to move on! Didn't visit either of the nearby pubs but heard they were good. However, did have a chinese delivered directly to our tent one night, fab service menus available in reception. Went to Woodstock which was lovely but mainly chilled out on site as the weather was good. Would definitely recommend and go back again.

We spent 5 nights here over the bank holiday, and were seven adults, one disabled, and a baby. It is a small, friendly site with large spacious pitches and spotless, modern toilets and showers - very nice! Disabled facilities were appreciated and worked well. I enjoyed strolling around the site with the baby in her pram - despite it being busy, the site still felt quite peaceful. I quite liked the chickens but they were in and out of our tent, even when we thought it was zipped up (!), so make sure you're happy with this before you come. We had a tent with EHU fairly near the entrance, so this probably wouldn't be an issue on the non EHU pitches which were a bit further away.
We visited Cotswold Wildlife Park, the grounds of Blenheim Palace, Bicester Village shopping centre, all good. My father-in-law was happy as he brought his canoe and could drive a short distance and canoe down the canal/river. The food at the local pub in Bletchingdon was great - I can still taste the home-made chips.
All-in-all, a nice, friendly site with good, clean facilities.

Stayed at this site mid week for 2 nights, 2 adults and 2 children age 3 & 4. We really enjoyed ourselves. On arrival you drive down a long road, with animals either side (fenced in), at the end of the road you reach the reception inside of the shop. The lady that greeted us was very welcoming and showed us to our pitch (we were given a choice) and advised where all the facilities were.
We quickly set up our tent as we were keen to look around, there were two toilet/shower blocks both very clean and modern. The shop was well stocked and items were priced very reasonably (disposable bbq's were only £1.50). The only disappointment was that they didn't sell newspapers, but the local pub did and they open at 6am.
The games room was a great addition and ideal to keep teenagers amused. The play park was ok, with an area for children to play football. We did use one of the fishing lakes on two occasions and caught plenty of small fish, there is also a larger lake with carp. Overall we were very pleased with this site and will definitely return next summer.

Our first ever camping trip (with friends)to this site and have to say I was very impressed. Most importantly for me - the site was very clean and well looked after. On arrival we found a friendly bunch of people who made us feel welcome and quickly told us the ropes and escorted us to our pitch. We camped right next to the 'play field' and didn't see the kids again for 3 days (other than feeding, watering and sleeping). The site was pretty quiet for us. Early morning showers (Free) - no queues - very clean and spacious. There are 2 main blocks to choose from (another one due to be built next year) Both have ample showers and toilets, washing up facilities with plenty of HOT water. Also available washing machine, iron and tumble drier.
Games shed (arcade and snooker, table tennis etc) Also available a fridge ( left at your own risk) and freezer for blocks etc. Open 10am - 10pm I think?
Owner very friendly - showed us the piglets and cows and happy to chat about the site etc, made us feel very welcome and almost turned my friend veggie with talk of maisy moo soon to be sold in shop on site!. Small shop with a great selection of essentials small selection of camping gear(reasonably priced) and fresh(farm produced) meats and the freshest eggs you can get (chicken roaming all the time)
Only down side was the noise from the railway and air field but easily ignored.
Great place for our 1st ever trip and would recommend to anyone.

We asked for a quiet pitch for 3 nights and that's exactly what we got: firstly, a field all to ourselves, and when other tents arrived during the next 2 days all their occupants were quiet as mice overnight. Friendly welcome, scrupulously tidied and cleaned, very hot water. Good food at Oxford Arms in Kirtlington. Easy access for Blenheim, Park & ride for Oxford, Waddesdon. My wife and I have camped on the Continent for the past 50+ years, but rarely in the UK: this proved that it can be a very pleasant experience.

This was my first camping trip in years so wanted to try somewhere local and boy was I impressed.
On arrival the checking in was easy and helpful. The reception area was well stocked with camping bits and food essentials.
The campsite was clean and pitches were well spaced.
The shower blocks and toilets were clean and there was also washing up areas.
There was a play area and also a games room which we did not use.
There is a lovely fishing lake and animals for children to look at.
A pleasant stay and recommended.
