Fantastic site. Owners very welcoming and helpful. Very well laid out pitches and of a very generous size too. There are two blocks of toilets/showers which were both kept very clean. Didn't have to wait for a shower at anytime during the week we stayed. Kids loved the play areas and with the weather being a bit wet and windy the games room was very much appreciated. The site also has a shop which was very well stocked and fairly priced. There is a huge field for exercising the dog which was brilliant as some sites don't cater for the fact you might want to let your dog off their lead at some point. Cotswald Wildlife park is about 35 mins away aswell which was a fab day out. We had a fantastic time at this site in awful weather ! Would definitely recommend.

What a great site, good size pitch and clean facilities. The site is very well looked after with 3 lakes to fish and a good play park. The owners are very helpful, nothing seems to much trouble. We asked for directions and they printed us a route planner. Never had that before. Not far from Blenhiem Palace and plenty of other things.

My family and I visited this campsite on our first ever camping experience, and what a fantastic site! The owners were extremely helpful and directed us straight to our pitch and showed us where all the facilities were. The pitch was enormous and we could have pitched two tents and two cars on it! The shower, toilet and washing up facilities were immaculate and were constantly being cleaned. The games room and play area kept our two children amused for ages. The farm animals were great to look at and the piglets were really cute!
The communal freezer in the games room was great for keeping our ice blocks in so we had fresh milk every day!
We will definitely visit there again and would recommend this site to anyone who wants to have a cheap weekend away without trapsing around shops all the time!
Thanks to the owners for a warm welcome and always being on hand for directions or help when needed!

We are from Germany and stayed here for 12 days at the end of July / beginning of August 2008. This was our first trip to England. I saw lots of positive reviews before booking, so I thought the site should be good. And I have to tell you that we were not disappointed.
- The children's playground is a lovely created area with a little tractor to climb and sit in.
- The toilets are the cleanest I have ever seen on a campsite.
- The showers were hot enough for a long time.
- Our children liked to feed the chicken with bread.
But the best thing of this site are their really friendly owners. They helped us whenever we had a question or a problem.
We loved our stay here and can only recommend this campsite. Many thanks to Paul and his wife.

I have been camping for 50 years and this has to be one of the best sites I have visited! On arrival, we were made to feel very welcome but this did not stop there. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly all during our stay - always a wave or a greeting when you met them around the site and very patient at giving directions around the area.
The site is very well maintained and the facilities kept very clean. The pitches are huge and mainly level and are mowed regularly. There has obviously been a lot of tree planting done and this can only get better as the trees mature.
As keen anglers, the fishing lakes were a big draw for us and we can't wait to see how the new lakes progress as time goes on. There is also fishing on the river, which is alongside the site and my husband had a couple of very good catches there.
The site charges were very reasonable and they do a very good deal for over 50s staying for a full week. There is plenty to see in the area and we had very enjoyable meals in The Black's Head in Bletchingdon and The Rock of Gibraltar.
All in all we had a wonderful 2 weeks here and would highly recommend it. You do need to book for weekends as it seems to be a deservedly popular site. Thank you Greenhill - we will definitely be returning!

I know it's been said before, but this site is brilliant!
We went with another family and were able to pitch together, where we wanted and how we wanted. The facilities were clean, the owners friendly and the kids loved the playground and games room. We will definitely be back! 10/10

Used this as an overnight stop on the way from Scotland to France via Dover.
What a marvellous site. Friendly welcome, huge pitches, WiFi access for my teenage son to 'surf' in his tent - and all facilities really clean and up to scratch. Road in and out is a bit 'rough' but I'm sure this will improve in time.
Good TV reception, WiFi seems to be anywhere on site, good play area, friendly owners.
Worth a stop if you are in the area. Great value for money as well.

This is one of those places that you want to rave about AND keep to yourself at the same time. We started camping early last year and can honestly say this is the best site in terms of cleanliness, facilities, location and price yet. Pitches were huge, level and well maintained. Toilet and shower blocks were obviously new but also immaculate (this is high praise from someone who anti-bacterial wipes everything in the absence of usual household facilities)Facility to freeze coolpacks was essential for our stay and this was very accessible, we didn't have to bother the owners to swap packs over, just helped ourselves.
Good location, surrounded by fields but within easy reach of most attractions; 10mins to park and ride to Oxford, 20mins to Blenheim (a must visit), about 20 mins to Bicester designer outlet. Small local pub (Bletchingdon village)has large TV so my hubby didn't miss out on the footy despite being in a tent for the week. Overall excellent site, had booked for 3 nights and ended up staying 5 - would definitely visit again.

This was a really lovely site, even though we had the worse weather.
The toilet & shower blocks were very clean and the showers the best I ever seen on a site. Loved the idea of having mop in shower room & sponges by the sink so you could clean up before or after yourself, a really excellent idea.
The games room was nice and big and the children's play area was good too.
The owners were very helpful and even gave us a pitch by the children's play area when we said we have five children with us, which was a god send.
Good size pitches and reasonable price.
This was a nice area to visit as well with some good walks and not to far to travel for shops as Bicester only down the road. Did find the pubs in surrounding villages were quite expensive.
We will definitely make a return visit and hope for better weather.

I would thoroughly recommend this site. The pitches - both hard standing and grass pitches, and some almost completely level - were spacious and well maintained. The toilet facilities were built to a very high standard and kept spotlessly clean; all necessary amenities were to hand and functioning. A good shop and very welcoming and helpful owners.
And the tariff very good value. Go here and it might spoil you for anywhere else!
