We have just returned from a week at Greenhill Leisure Park and despite the bad weather had a brilliant time. The games room is a great idea for entertaining the children on the wet days that we had and the play area kept them busy on the dry ones! The site itself is very well looked after and the toilet blocks are the best we have ever seen the two very large showers were wonderful and even tho we went on a bank holiday weekend were never too busy. After reading a review on this site before we went we took up the challenge of ordering a curry to be delivered direct to our pitch it came along with complementary wine and beer (as it was quite a large order) we were very impressed and tempted to use it again every night! Overall this is a lovely site in a beautiful position with lovely walks on and off the site. We will definitely be returning very soon.

Stayed here over the first May bank holiday, only our 2nd camping trip so still quite new to this game! Site was lovely with FANTASTIC facilities. Showers and toilets better then home - powerful & HOT! Basic shop with good prices. Owners incredibly helpful and friendly, offered great advice on local area. As we had young children we were pitched right next to the play area - great during the day but at night some older children gathered and were quite noisy - rules of no one in play area after dark not followed but not campsite fault. Had a bit of a fly problem on 1st day but owners gave us some fly spray of their own until we could get to shops next day. Huge Sainsbury's close by and easy access to Oxford (park & ride) and Bicester. Play area quite basic and would really recommend swing? slide? seesaw? Games room well kitted out with pool, ping pong, arcade games etc but aimed at older children/adults so didn't use. Would return for short stays as limited for things to do in area and site over longer times.

This is a fantastic site and we spent a fabulous weekend there last year with friends. Large pitches, very relaxed atmosphere and lovely owners. The kids really enjoyed the animals, play area and barn with snooker table, football game, etc. Great facilities that were clean, although there was a bit of a queue after tea to wash up . Not sure if they've added some more sinks this year. Oh . And get this . The owner advised us that we could order a curry delivery and they would deliver straight to the tent! So we tried it out on Sat night and sure enough all we had to give was the campsite name and pitch number and a full takeaway was delivered right to our tents. Some may say not quite the authentic camping experience, but hey, when there are six adults and six kids to cater for, why not!

A** We highly recommend this site. A group of us (seven pitches - 11 adults and 1 dog), have just returned from a superb Easter weekend at Greenhill Leisure. You could not find a friendlier family running it. Paul and Sam were a delight. From booking to leaving we could not fault it or them. Site lovely and clean. New toilet block has just been added to supplement the larger showe r/ loo block. Local hostelries were friendly and served good food. Will definitely return.

Pleasant park in the Oxfordshire countryside down the bottom of a track by a farm. Not sure if it’s a fully working farm though they have various animals (goats, small pigs) in enclosures. Large pitches and the owners have avoided cramming as many people as they can onto the site. They also look to be either expanding or just setting up as there were lots of newly planted trees around and new facilities were being built. First class toilet, shower and washing facilities. There is also a barn with some arcade games and a couple of pool tables. We did find a path down to the river, but it ended at a marsh so we weren’t able to actually reach the river itself, not sure if there is a better route. There’s a railway running about 1 mile away but little noise, plus there is a derelict factory of some kind in the distance but this isn’t much of an eyesore. We spent a weekend there at the end of March on a rally so the park was fairly quiet and we didn’t use reception

Minutes from the M40 we stayed here one night as we where on our way to an event. Right in the countryside and really peaceful. The kids loved the animals. The toilets and shower block where immaculate. There was a small field for the kids with a football goal, basket ball net and a small assault course. The farmers wife said the two pubs close by were pricey for food so we went into Woodstock, a village close by. Very beautiful village but the fish and chips very really expensive. There was a walk along the River which you can get to from the campsite but we didn't stay long enough. We would definitely use this site again.

This was a lovely site. The toilet block is spotlessly clean and the showers are a dream - no drizzle showering here! The pitches were very generous, however there was a very slight slope to ours. The site owners were very friendly and helpful. The site was nice and quite in the evenings. The kids loved the play area. We visited during the 3rd week of the school holidays, so it was a busy time of year, but there was only 2 showers each for males & females, and only 2 dish washing sinks. There were queues at the busy times of day. There was also no soap in the toilets - not 'run out of soap', but NO soap, which seemed a bit odd and really irked us! It is a shame that something so small is our biggest complaint. Overall, I would recommend this site as it was very pleasant, clean and quiet.

This was our first visit here and we picked it because it was close and had great reviews and we were not disappointed. The staff were very friendly and although they had allocated our pitches (3 of them) because it was not busy we got to choose where we wanted to go. The toilets and shower blocks were very clean and the shop was well stocked for a small shop and reasonably priced. For our friends this was their first time camping and they really enjoyed it. We will definitely be going again.

Nice site with plenty of room and huge pitches, new and clean facilities, the only thing was there is only 1 toilet block, never really crowded but if you are pitched up the other end! Just don't wait till you or the little ones are desperate! (long walk). Children's outdoor play area was a little disappointing but barn play area is very good with table tennis, pool and table football. Thought a charge of 4 pounds to stay an extra 2 hours was a little harsh. Be off site by 12!

Wow. What a fantastic friendly site. Amenities are 1st class, site owners are friendly and helpful. We have visited this site now 3 times and will continue to come back, the site is laid out exactly how you would want it, pitches are a great size, and the newly built shower / toilet block are cleaned on a regular basis. There is a fabulous indoor play area for the children and adults, table football, ping pong, games machine, also a park which keeps the children amused for hours where they can make new friends, plenty of green space to play football or rounders which was what we did on our lat visit. The dog walking area is superb, plenty of space for them to run around. There is a lovely walk down to the river where you can do a spot of fishing if you are into that.I,m not but my husband is.I,d rather sit there with my glass of wine and book whilst he fishes. A shop on site which offers you the basics you need, and always a friendly smile when you enter. Within walking distance is a pub, with a lovely atmosphere, you can watch the canal boats go by. We shall be back ! Thank you and congratulations on your site.
