I have to say this was the BEST site our family has ever used. The service before we even arrived was superb as Paul the owner was very helpful in providing flood free routes to the site. The site has large pitches and a designated play area and football pitch. The games room is clean and well lit. The showers were hot and clean, and considering the weather of late the toilet blocks were also clean and tidy. There was no litter on site and although dogs are very welcome there was no signs of mess or inconsiderate owners. The shop stocks the basics plus enough extras to make sure the kids spent their pocket money in short time. The site is less than a 10 minute drive from oxford park and ride but to be honest we were happy to stay on site and wander around the farm looking at the animals. This is a fabulous site in a beautiful part of the country. We can't wait to go back. If I have one criticism it is the site only accepts cash or cheque but the rates are so good it is a minor grumble.

This was another wet weekend meet here at this camp site, with all the rain we had I was half expecting the camping fields to be waterlogged but they wasnt that bad, the field we had for the oxford meet was pretty well drained even though there were small patchs where water lay but apart from that all went well. How ever with all the wet and damp weather we had that weekend I did have a slight problem with the eletric as it kept on tripping and Paul ( site owner ) was kind enough to keep resetting the main trip switch, I think paul got a little concerned that it kept on tripping so by the end of the weekend I was using pauls extention lead so I could use a different point and this was fine. I have nothing bad to say about this site at all
Hope you got the box sorted out Paul and thank you for your time in this matter not all site owners would of done what you did. I will go back to this site hopefully in drier conditions next time.
Keep up the good work Paul and Pauline.
P.S if you was wondering whos freezer pack it was left in the fridge it was mine sorry I should of phone you to say so.

Just got back from a wet weekend at Greenhill Leisure Park and have to say it was worth it. We were debating whether to go or not with the recent rainfall but after posting for advice on the message board we were reassured that it wouldn't be that bad. So off we went and we were not let down by the site at all. The facilities were excellent the best I have seen and the owners very helpful which was a good thing seeing as we forgot our hammer! The pitches were very large and my husband couldn't get over how good the soil was and how well kept the grass was. There are a few animals here and there around the campsite which is good to pass time on if you've got children. We tried to walk to the river at the bottom of the field but the cows wouldn't let us pass. So we decided to go to the pub The Rock of Gibraltar (take a left out of the campsite and its 2 mins drive) which is on a canal. Lots of barges moored to eat and drink at the pub which has benches outside so you can watch them go by. Our only downfall was when we were out at Oxford for the morning the wind picked up back at the site and mangled our gazebo but you live and learn. So I would definitely recommend this site and give it 10 out of 10.

Stayed for 2 nights in June and thoroughly enjoyed it. We chose Greenhill as it was close to home and this was our first time camping with a new tent and our 10 month old baby and we weren't sure how it would work out. Everything was great. We had our pick of pitches as it wasn't too busy. All the facilites were clean, although they could do either do with another toilet in the block with 2, or have the wash basins outside the toliet cubicle so that people don't spend so long in there. Washing up area was always clean and tidy. The owners were very friendly and I would definitely recommend this site.

Returned after visiting this campsite last year. As promised, the facilities have been much improved (which is going some as the only complaint I had last year was that the toilet blocks were too far away).
Firstly, a great welcome, the family that run this are amongst the friendliest I have ever met. They always have time for a chat and are very willing to listen to any suggestions.
Improvements I have noticed are: - Additional toilet block in the middle of the field (very clean and great showers) - electric pitches on the rally field (very unusual!) - well stocked junior fishing lake (large one to come I believe) - extended dog walking area
All in all, very reasonably priced, excellent facilities and on top of Oxford and Bicester.

This is a lovely site - not too big, in a lovely country location. Excellent wash facilities, very friendly owners, good little shop on site, and yes - the curry was delivered to our caravan and was one of the best we have had in recent years.
If I had to criticise anything it would be that as the site is fairly new, there is not much shade or shelter, as trees have been planted very recently (we were there during the gales and torrential rain of Whitsun Bank Holiday weekend). Also, our children are 5 and under, and would perhaps have liked one or two more swings and slides in the play area to keep them occupied. However, these really are MINOR criticisms.
The layout of the site, and its size means you don't get cars coming and going at speed, so it is very safe for young children (there were quite a lot of young ones there when we stayed)
The site is close to Oxford airport (don't panic - this is a small airfield really, and they're all light aircraft) and it's quite interesting to watch the planes and sometimes helicopters fly overhead. They don't fly at night, and the noise is minimal, so don't let this put you off at all.
I would rate it 9.5 out of 10 - excellent.

This has to be the most delightful site I have visited over the last few years! With loads of FREE hot water, immaculately clean toilet/washroom/shower (also free) and pot washing facilities. Large games room for the kids with table tennis tables, pool tables and game machines. Also a fridge and freezer, again free to use - brilliant if you have to rely on ice blocks. Outside a lovely play area for the kids with loads of space. The pitches are clearly laid out, numbered and very generous in size and are seperated by saplings at present. This is a fairly new site - I believe about 18 months old and it is clear that the owners have some wonderful plans for it's development. It sits in a lovely valley with great views and a conservation area is also being developed. I cannot recommend this site too highly. Very friendly owners and reasonable rates. Am really looking forward to a return visit.

I would say that Greenhill Leisure Park is among one of the best sites I have visited. The staff were friendly and the toilet/shower block was of the highest standard I have seen. There is ls a games room with Pool and Table tennis which is great for kids and adults alike. There is also a freezer where you can freeze your freezer packs, which is absolutely free and there are lots of footpaths to walk along from the site. If you are tired of cooking, the Blacks Head pub in the village of Bletchingdon serves delicious food. I would recommend this site as a really good family site.If it could be improved at all, I would recommend a footpath from the site to the pub. Then it would be absolutely brilliant! :-)

Ive just got home from the UKCS Oxford meet, and can I say the weather was threatening rain thorough out our stay for the weekend. As for the site its self, being a novice camper but I have been camping and caravaning in previous years with friend but I have to say this has to be the cleanest site I have come across in recent years, there was plenty of hot water to go round and the toilet blocks were to what I call a very high standard. The site is very clean to say its a working farm, and the pitches well some of them you could pitch two tents or caravans. There is a spectacular view as well all round and its very close to the local pub lol. Over all I had a wonderful time at this site and I was on my own and I would recommend this to site all with or with out children. I am however looking to go back to this site and try my hand at fishing on the river which is only a five minute walk from the site. All the the family who run this site are very polite, helpful and would go out there to make anyone stay as comfortable as possible. Keep up the good work Pauline and family. See you in the near future. Alan aka Almo (UKCS Member )

Excellent, excellent. Excellent! Super friendly hosts, lovely site with warm clean showers. Curry delivered to your door with free wine - what more could you ask for? We were so impressed after our 8 nights there we booked straight away for August Bank Holiday. Can't wait to go back. Even our shy 6 year old son made some new friends. Keep up the good work!
