Stayed 1 night on the way down to Poole, lovely site, easy to find and very friendly.
Large pitches, nice clean showers and toilets. Kids loved seeing the animals and having the chickens roaming around.
Good sized dog walking area to let them off lead but beware it looks fenced all round but it isn't.
Walked to nice pub down road, no path though so bit tricky with kids and dog.
Loved this site and will go back again and stay longer.

Just got back from 2 nights at this campsite and had a great time. The owners and staff are really helpful and friendly. The pitches are extremely spacious and marked out with small trees. We fitted a 6 man tent, gazebo and the car in with plenty of room to spare.
There are lots of animals on site from chickens (very free range), goats, pigs, and alpacas. There is a games room which is full of arcade machines, table tennis and pool tables. Magazines and books to borrow and a communal fridge and freezer.
The toilets, showers and washing up rooms are very modern and were kept very clean the whole time we were there. There is a shop on site which was open all day. They have two big fishing lakes and a playground and football goals. Probably the best campsite we've been to. Will definitely go again.

Just returned from the park after a two week stay and it was great. The park (a working farm) was clean, tidy and quiet, what more do you want. There were pigs, sheep, goats, alpacas and other animals to visit, about 2 dozen hens roamed the site and gave it a bit of character, (one even laid an egg under the tent) there is also good fishing on site.
The shower blocks were spotlessly clean and modern, the showers were in wet rooms, loads of space, but they needed somewhere to put your wash gear. There were plenty hookups available and the pitches were a good size, enough for the tent and car.
The site shop/reception was not well stocked with grocery's and no camping spares, but it does gas bottle exchanges. The shop does sell a small selection of produce from local farms and probably the freshest eggs you'll ever taste, no newspapers on sale, the suppliers fault, not the shop's.
The local pub opens at 6am,and sell papers and a very small selection of grocery's, be warned they do a really good breakfast, but don't get the large one unless you aren't expecting to eat again that day.
There is only one question that needs answering. Would we go back?. Yes we would.

A lovely site with good facilities.
There were a couple of toilet blocks with good sized showers in, very clean but did have to queue for the loo a couple of times.
Attached to the toilet block was a washing up station, room for 3 people but did run out of hot water one evening.
A huge games room with 2 table tennis tables, bats provided, you just need to buy a ball from reception. Also pool tables and lots of arcade games machines.
The site is well planted but the trees are still quite small so there was very little shade on what was one of the hottest weekends of the year!
A fairly basic play area with plenty of room for ball games and a football net.
Well looked after site with very friendly staff.
Two fishing lakes but we didn't try them out as our men went to fish at Blemheim Palace.
Local area lovely, Woodstock has good local shops and is next to Blenheim Palace. We had Sunday lunch at The Rock of Gilbraltar on the canal bank. Good roast dinner at a reasonable price.
A well stocked shop on site and plenty of walks.
I've saved the best bit till last though, alpacas, goats and pigs in fenced in areas but free range chickens running everywhere! A couple even managed to squeeze into our friend's tent. We would definitely return.

We were looking for a campsite half way between us and our camping friends house and this site matched that criteria so we booked in for a 3 night break. You cant book online which can be a bit of a problem as we found it online at 10pm and couldn't book because there was nobody there to answer the phones, We got booked in the next day and the staff were very helpful.
On Arrival you drive down a long drive past lots of various animals and the view across the fields and old cement works is fantastic. Bookking in was easy and we were shown to our pitch. A great pitch and as much space as you want (if you don't want electric hook up) so we put our tents up and watched the sun go down. The children loved the animals on site and the chickens roaming around. There are big fishling lakes and a lovely dog walk down to the canal. The children loved the play area and the indoor games room. They also have a freezer you can use free of charge which is very handy.
The showers were a good size and the water was hot, the toilet blocks clean.
A lovely little shop with plenty of bargains. The local pub is 1 mile down the road but remember to take a lantern!
Overall a fantastic site, spacious clean and perfect for children.
By far the best site we have visited.
Look forward to returning soon

We have just re-visited this site after 4 years and it has improved even more. Since we last visited the site now has a new shop, which is really well stocked and very reasonably priced (eg bottle of wine £4.50 and the barn now has a few more gaming machines and equipment, as well as a large chest freezer and large fridge, which is really useful. They even had a little library of books and mags to borrow.
The site now has resident wardens, which actually proved very useful as the hot water in the washing up area went off whilst we were there and they were able to sort it out as soon as they were told.
Pitches are massive - we had two pitches with a Hartford XL with canopy, plus two other tents and a gazebo and three cars parked up and were not tight for space at all.
Will definitely be returning in the near future as this is a great site - can't say what's in the local area, as we didn't move for the whole weekend, but we did get a takeaway delivered to the tent door! Brilliant!

A lovely campsite, we visited here about 4 years ago and there have been many improvements. The site is kept immaculate, the pitches are very spacious and the area around each pitch is well maintained.
The site has many walks nearby and a good dog walk. The shower block was always clean and plenty of hot water. There are chickens free to roam which we found lovely and they sell the eggs in shop on site, very nice indeed.
The shop sells all the things you should need and all the staff are friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this site and will return to visit in the future.

We've just returned from this fab camp site. Excellent facilities, extremely large pitches, meaning you weren't on top of your neighbours! The showers were huge and there was a disabled/ family bathroom which was great for families.
Again for families, a play park and a games room, and the animals made it very special, especially the free range hens who provide wonderful eggs (for 20p each from the shop).
Good shop, nice staff, will be returning!

Just spent another five nights at Greenhill and the site seems to get better each time. Even over the busy Bank Holiday weekend, the pitches are so big that the site does not seem over crowded. The saplings between the pitches are coming on well and the site is so well kept.
The fishing pools are beginning to look more established now and we spent a good few happy hours fishing there. As has been said previously, the toilets and showers are always clean and the wetrooms are spacious.
Paul and his family and staff are always unfailingly helpful and, although an earlier poster seemed to have a problem with the site being 'policed' by the staff, I find this very reassuring. I have often wished some of the big commercial sites had staff on patrol - especially in the early hours when the people in the next tent are having a party!
This is a great site for a relaxing break and we look forward to our next visit.

We really enjoyed visiting here.
Clean facilities. Well maintained site although will improve with growth and time. Lovely walks to take the dog on and an area for them to be off the lead.
My little ones loved the animals and had a great time walking round to see them. The chickens eat out of your hands. Would of been nice if they extended it to petting a goat or similiar.
The play area is small and quite limited but they enjoyed it. It has a games room for older kids.
Helpful staff.
The pub down the road did decent food and supermarkets close by.
Oxford natural history museum well wroth a visit although you will have to be early or use the park and ride.
Easy to get to place. Secure car park.
Fishing looked okay but I am no expert my husband fishing and seemed to catch.
Huge pitch but remember your pegs for hard ground.
Would go back.
