A very well kept, tidy site set in beautiful countryside. Large well defined pitches with EHU and water taps/grey waste drains near by. Three toilet/showers blocks, very modern and clean. Dog walking area on site and access to lots of public walkways nearby. Small shop and restaurant on site with reasonably priced meals. Reasonable price for a campsite but extra charge for dogs.
Only stopped one night on the way to Northamptonshire but would definitely stay again if in the area. It is about a mile or so walk to the nearby village with a nice pub.

Lovely clean site and first class amenities, very handy for Blenheim Palace, Oxford and the Cotswolds. Take the canal path to Oxford about 9 miles, stopping at Annies for a cup of tea and then catch the bus back. Lots for the children to do and fishing available on site. The on site restaurant was quite noisy and there wasn't a lot of choice but it served the purpose.

First time here and will not be the last. We stayed in 'the Orchard' which I believe is one of the rally fields with electric hook-up. Grass well cut and did not need to use ramps. We are Caravan Club members and have stayed on many unlevel pitches with them before so could not see other users complaint. Showers the biggest I have seen. Plenty of hot water and very clean. Husband disabled and toilet facilities excelent for him too. Staff very helpful and visited the cafe too. Red Kites flying over head and a beautiful sight to see close up. Will definitely be going back and telling all our caravan friends about this site. Praise where it is due.

Just returned from a weekend at this site. It was our third time here and I have to say it was excellent. They have made some changes and improvements since we were last here and apparently they have more planned. They have upgraded the kids play park, moved the shop and reception to a new, larger location and added a café/bar. We tried the café for a meal and found it to be good, also had a couple of drinks there. We found the prices quite reasonable for a family of four and the shop prices were also very competitive. We found all the staff very friendly and helpful, as we always have to be honest. We didn't leave the site while we were there, so won't comment on any of the surroundings, except to say that the site itself is in a great location and we found it very peaceful with great views over the open countryside.
All in all we had a good time and will be definitely be returning in the near future.

We stayed over the Easter break for 9 days. The site itself was nice, but a lot of the pitches are un-level so bring plenty of blocks if your in a motorhome. Its generally a well looked after site and the staff are polite.
The site is in a noisy location, as it's in the flight path of the local airport and it has a railway line near by. This did not bother us.
Please be aware that if you use this site, that it is also used by contractors that are up and about early and have no consideration for holiday makers. Although the rules of the site are NO noise from 11pm to 7 am, we were woken up every working morning with cars driving past from 5. 20am, driving to and from the toilet blocks with no consideration for people on holiday. I did speak to the owner about the problem, but was told it was probably the contractors. They were not interested in sorting the problem. We ending up leaving erlier than planned due to this problem.

After some wet weather the hardstanding pitches, although sloping, were fine. Friendly reception and good prices for a 3 night stay. Chicken, goats and ducks roam freely but didn't cause any problems for us, but possibly could if we had sat outside.
Although footpaths appear to run from the site the one going to Bletchingdon required going through an electric fence and mixing with large horses. We were told that the footpath to the pub was open but one section took us to a field with a bull in. One of the party crossed the field but the bull and bullocks made a lot of noise and walked/ran towards the rest who retreated rapidly. So no footpaths out of the site! Also though the campsite says no transit vans etc are allowed onto the pitch area, they do. Many of the caravans were lived in by workers. Not a problem for us but some might find the early/late driving off/on the site a nuisance.
So pleasant enough but out of season not a lot to do unless you drive.

Another visit to this lovely clean site. We ran our second rally here, and yet again the help and service was first class, not a single complaint from 25 rally goers!
A great site in a lovely location, close to many Nation Trust properties, plus canals, walks, Bicester Outlet, Oxford etc.
We'll be back again!

Just spent a brilliant 4 days at this site. Very well maintained, quiet and peaceful, toilets, showers very clean, owners, staff, extremely friendly and helpful, 5 miles from park and ride for Oxford City centre, only downside was having to leave to come back home but did book Easter next year before we left.

Should have been here for a week, left a day early. It was like being on a building site. A lot of upgrade work was being done, new water pipes and electric hook up cables were being laid, (yes we know that the work has to be done some time)BUT we were never told about it. We were not told when we phoned to book up, we were not told about it when we booked in, and then we were given a pitch right behind where the work was going on. (They were at a long lunch break when we got there so we weren`t aware of the full extent of it. ) We were offered another pitch(after we had set up)but we didn`t fancy spending another 3 hours moving everything. Why did nobody not think to give us a pitch away from the work area in the first place, there were plenty of other pitches available on other fields. The lady who booked us in seemed as though she would rather have not been there, not welcoming at all. We were not told were the chemical waste or the rubbish area were, a fellow camper told us. We were told nothing about the site, I found a games room two days before we left (don`t know if it was open, we were not told about it. ) When I told them that we were leaving early and the reasons why, they did not seem to be overly concerned. Quite happy to take the money and then do nothing else. Nice location, lovely views.

Having just returned from a 3 night stay, we would definitely stay again.
This lovely, quiet site is an excellent base for exploring the area. 5 minute drive for Oxford's park & ride and sightseeing Oxford. Approximately, 1 hour South is Legoland and 1 hour North, Warwick Castle, Stratford Upon Avon and Kenilworth Castle.
On site, the cafe is also the bar (kids welcome all times)and serve good, hot meals. The menu is limited but please remember this is a family run site. The main thing is that the food was good, hot and service was genuinely welcoming.
The shop has the basic things if you run out (bread, milk etc)and Camping Gaz. Owner was very obliging to open the shop for us when we ran out of gas whilst cooking tea at 8pm!
The only downside for us, was the showers. Whilst free, they are temperamental (maybe due to being linked to the water supplying the washing up facilities?). Sometimes it can be a trickle and very cold or a decent cascade and just right.
For the kids there was a decent play area and very popular. For the smaller children there is ducks (who regularly wander round the site checking up on campers!), sheep and pigs.
The little lake seemed popular with the fishermen.
All in all, a welcoming, well kept site. Just wish it was a little closer to home!
