Dec 31 2000 A1 site, we arrived with our Force Ten storm tent at 10 pm (we were supposed to be staying with friend for new year, but they ended up at each others throats so we left there. After arriving at camp we were then met with a jug of hot coffee and a good measure of brandy to keep the cold out (and welcome in the new year) Very clean, well worth a visit, we have been back many times.

jan 2004 Quiet, friendly and spotless. It was unfortunate that we picked the week the on-site pub closed, but it was only a short drive to the Pandy Inn, where we enjoyed a wonderful meal and welcome. Ian who we met briefly was very helpful (as we are new to this), and Jenny the receptionist very friendly.

Only a brief visit to this site to drop of my son and his friends (party total of 6) who are camping there for the next three days. What a nice quiet site this is and in lovely countryside too. Met at the reception area by a very helpfull lady (Jenny) and after monies (£54) had exchanged hands off she took us to the two pre booked pitches. Both were large in size and both had the option of hook up if required. Water taps were also present at the hook up points. Whilst lads were putting up the tents I had the chance to visit the washing, shower, baby change and toilet areas. All were quite spotless with a sign indicated that the entire block was checked every 30 minutes to ensure it stayed that way. A pub and restraunt are situated at the entrance to the site, sorry to say we did not have time to sample their delights :( Noise from passing vehicles is reduced by mature trees and hedges. According to the information leaflet the people who own this site also own three others, Smithy Park,Pearl Lake Leisure Park and Westbrook Park. Contact info for the Poston Mill site are tele 01981 550225 Fax 01981 550885 E-Mail enquiries@poston-mill.co.uk
When son returns I will quiz him further and update with any additional good/not so good points. Regards Graham
