A friendly welcome from good humoured staff who actually escorted us to our pitch and gave us full details of the site, the facilities and local amenities got us off to a fabulous start.
The campsite itself is well maintained and clean with plenty of room between ample pitches. The superpitch we had had all the facilities you need (EHU, fresh water, tv connection and waste water drain on pitch. Toilets and shower block is very clean and whenever I visited there always seemed to be a cleaner present!
The site is well located and relatively peaceful with an on-site pub. Food is plentiful with traditional Sunday roast and a fairly good selection of food on most evenings, (including 'specials') except Mondays when the pub is closed. There is a friendly team in here too, although the gents toilet could do with a a little care and attention. It represents good value and the staff are attentive and helpful. Families with children and dogs are welcome.
Travel to Hay-on Wye and Hereford is very easy, with regular bus services from just outside the site. Travel further afield is easy too, especially in your own vehicle.
On balance we had a very good break and would visit again without any hesitation. This was our first experience of a Morris Leisure site and if the others are of a similar or better standard, it is likely we would visit those too!

Our first visit to Poston Mill and it is a fabulous site especially if you are dog lovers.
Nothing to dislike, lovely big pitches, television connection, water hook up and waste water drainage on the service pitches,
Extra bonus in The Mill pub at the site entrance which serves lovely food including take away and a fab beer garden area.
If I had anything that would worry me returning is the small lanes that our sat nav took is down, as the site is situated on a B road I would suggest checking your map to make sure you don't face a angry farmer when you are towing down a narrow lane,
But we will definitely return to this fab site.

What can l say. Its excellent site. So helpful and lots of space. Dog friendly and wash area which is amazing. Poop buckets everywhere.
Onside pub and restaurant with games. Menu is great.
Bus stop at entrance. 2.00 to Hereford. It's so convenient.
Did not see any children there.
Also a walk across fields takes you to Peterchurch cpl of pubs etc there. Follow the signs and instructions though.
Definitely return. Its on our list now.
My son arrived in his campervan. He loved it too.
Secure and lit up at night.
Thank you. Too the team
See you soon. X

My wife and I have just stayed for a few nights.
The site is very well managed and is exceptionally clean and tidy.
We had a super pitch which provided water, electricity and tv along with waste water.
Good for walking dogs and pub/restaurant right next to site.
There is also a bust stop right outside going to Hereford and Hay on Wye both journeys taking around 40/45 mins.

We took advantage of a discount and free night offer, having used Morris sites before.
The friendly staff made us feel very welcome and showed us to our serviced pitch.
Pitches are hardstanding, flat and large. New ones have been added recently.
Facilities are spotless with good water pressure and hot! Be careful!
There are lots of walks from the site with leaflets in the information room. There is a big pitch and putt course, Play area and dog walk. One half of the site is mobile homes the other tourers.
There is a small shop which was being relocated so closed during our visit.
The on site pub The Mill is great. Good food and very friendly staff.
The site has a bus stop outside with services to Hay on Wye or Hereford.
It's well placed for trips to the Brecon Beacons and the Black Mountains with some stunning scenery.
There are tv coax connections on the electric bollards so signal was fine. You will need a cable which the shop should have if you don't have one.
Phone reception was good ( on Virgin 02 ).
There was good WiFi which was included in the fees.
This is a great site maintained to the high standards of Morris Leisure.

I’m sure it’s all been said before however, I can’t comment as to if it’s changed since Morris have taken over.
Absolutely fabulous, pretty site, probably the most dog friendly ever, dogs allowed all over with big area and beautiful walking from site.
Facilities top drawer. Best shower ever, water pressure amazing.
Staff lovely.
Good bus service. Hay on Wye lovely, castle free entrance but not for much longer. Also buses to Hereford Mill pub fab, food good and reasonably priced, again so dog friendly, such a shame village pub not! Loads of walks from village good shop.
Morris offer was half price, even better.

The site has recently been taken over by Morris Leisure
We took advantage of the three for two offer with an additional 20% discount it made it great value for money
We had a serviced pitch which was nice but probably not to the normal morris leisure standard (they did have workmen on site adding new pitches which looked a better standard)
Nice facilities everywhere was very clean and tidy, lovely dog walk and lots of footpaths direct from site
The new wardens were very friendly and helpful
The pub on site was nice, we only had drinks in the downstairs bar but spoke to others that had eaten there on Sunday and they were very impressed, not open Monday but was open again Tuesday
Not sure I would pay the full price which without the discount would have been £40. 00 per night but with the special offer it was great
